All bosses/ boss fights for Ghost n' Goblins Resurrection. We've met all these bosses in previous Ghost n' Goblins games but they are back with new tactics and attacks. Sit down and watch me destroy the evil minions of the demon realm with a simple knife and crossbow.

@@MegaYoYo I personally have played with all the weapons, and they all have a definite niche, some better than others. But unlike the original series, you can beat the game with any weapon. Doppelganger turns every weapon into an absolute boss-killer. The knife, the Bow, and the Shield are potentially the best weapons in the game in that order though. Upgraded Bow is the most improved weapon with Gold Armour as well, in my opinion.

I ABSOLUTELY FUCKING LOVE the art style in this game!
First off, I love the whole cardboard cutout animation style! It's like Tim Burton crossed with Monty Python.
Second, I love, love, LOVE the redesigns of the bosses! Not only did they stay true to the look of the original games, but they managed to look even creepier than before! ESPECIALLY Asteroth! He looks FUCKING TERRIFYING! One look at him, and you're gonna be sleeping with one eye open for weeks.
So, yeah. I LOVE the art. Whoever did the designs for this game deserves a raise AND a bonus.

@@juliusgordon2867 Surprisingly it is. He actually fulfilled his ultimatum after Ghouls’ n Ghosts. It’s weird though since there was no one higher than Hades to even attempt to take over the Demon Realm.

Now that I've seen Astaroth in his evil Santa Claus coat I'm convinced that he was Krampus the whole time. Arthur, was naughty this year.
He looks like a fucked up version of King Dedede

i really love the way Arthur runs
I noticed his run animation gets more exaggerated as the games goes on (See Ghosts n Goblins arcade vs Ghouls n Ghosts arcade), and I love it.
Man, this makes me want to see a Demon's Crest remake.

Dude I was hoping this game would sell well so we could see a completely new Ghosts 'n Goblins game but now that you bring up Demon's Crest I hope that happens as well. Man Capcom is really sleeping on way too many franchises aren't they?

Most of the bosses seem the same regardless of difficulty.. They seem to take about the same number of hits as well. Definitely a huge difference in the actual stages though. Makes it a lot harder to get through them.
The stages are ludicrous on Legendary. Most things are double but then they add really annoying enemy placements. Trying to juggle all those things at once fries the brain.
There is a very important difference: how many times the bosses can hit you before you croak.
Astaroth, suprisingly, has higher "hit points" than Lucifer.
Pretty sure if you have double slots, Dagger and Crossbow is the best combination since you'd have a good cone coverage
I tried that and I tried simultaneously firing them. It was good sometimes but the problem was I couldn't be consistent with it.

Ghosts n Goblins was the toughest game I played, more than Mike Tysons Punch Out lol.I got so frustrated I spent time upgrading my armor then it all went to pieces from one hit lol.I love this game it is challenging and worth playing.

He is pretty much GnG's bowser Since he is Arthur's rival even tho he's usaully the semi-final boss.

This game had some very interesting ideas for bosses
My only complaints - The new Weapons all SUCK. Too many cutscenes, The re-start time after you die could be faster

Cerberus was called Infernomo and Lucifer was Loki

I like how some of the bosses are from the original Ghosts 'N Goblins, while others debuted in Ghouls 'N Ghosts.
The final boss is from the PSP game.
After beating Astaroth, I was waiting for the "Oh no, you don't have the magic bracelet with mediocre range, you have to play the whole game again before we let you fight the end boss" schtick, and it never came. Not sure how to feel about that.
I thought the very same thing. There is no weapon that replicates the shield or psycho cannon (goddess bracelet). I do welcome bringing the dagger to the end boss fights.
Actually, you have to gather all demon orbs and complete all hell holes to get to the true final boss.

I never though that most of bosses in this game are looking uncanny and creepy.
Astaroth's fireballs are glitched sometimes. Often if you jump onto a raising platform , the end of the fireball will go straight through you.

Astaroth is the hardest and the most unfair boss in this game. First and second phase are ok but the third one is an absolute unfair nightmare. It took me 1 day to beat him.

@@MegaYoYo I actually beat him right after I commented this lol but I turned the difficulty down. I was having a hard time dodging the pouncing attacks and running attacks the most probably. Just knowing where to position myself. This game is so evil man.

that crossbow slaps with gold armor. Nothing escapes its wide reach. Bosses go down in no time and difficult sections are trivialized.

I'm not sure what engine they used. I doubt it was the RE engine. Still looks and plays good though!

@@SupaFunk-il2mm From the moment they didn't put developing in the game like Bayonetta 2 i don't think they own completely the title! This is a capcom game & still can be released in other systems as well,like happened with cuphead from Xbox.
I keep dying to the bats that Astaroth summons. The only attempts I win are those that happen to not have any bats.
It can be a bit troublesome but I know you can make a method that works for you!

If you look close then you will see a badge that says you beat it twice
I'm convinced that annoying gimmick of beating the game twice is why G&G was never as popular as _Castlevania._ Can you imagine killing Dracula twice?

This game is an incredible addition to the series. Legend difficulty is no joke and anyone who picks that difficulty will need to know the ins and outs of how this game works. It's different in that this game really wants you to use magic. Magic makes sections easier than just running and shooting everything. I've played through it 4 times and there are still things I'm learning about it.

Am I the only one who got a glitch during the Satan fight? He despawned after knocking out the chandelier. It was humorous though and very anticlimatic.

I was expecting an anticlimactic request to get the Goddess Strike/Psycho Canon in order to fight the true final boss. Or Sardius to appear in some shape or form...
I was expecting Sardius as well. I though I would neet the cross to get the true ending.
There's collectables hidden throughout each stage - collecting them all allows you to fight the true final boss, Hades from Ultimate GnG.
The dragon boss is basically a guessing game, predict the wrong direction and you're screwed.
That dragon is annoying the more damage it takes. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about doing a no damage Tun for these bosses anymore
I prefer the original keyframed pixel art to the high-res graphics with skeletal animations of modern remakes tbh

I mean his behavior: how he sitting and how attack - that dosen't looks like he serious. And he died doing same shit until the end. Not really epic final battle. But game is great. And you played well.

even at LEGENDARY, this is still way way easier compare to original arcade game
This game is WAY harder than the original arcade game. The original has a lot of tips and tricks you can use to get past a lot of things. Getting to the halfway points on legend difficulty will take a newcomer hours.
Yeah, the original arcade is an honest to goodness joke compared to the difficulty of this game. I've never played a game more difficult in my life. I've beaten Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts numerous times, and sometimes even deathless. This is the hardest the franchise has ever been, but also the funnest!

You need to learn a skill called kitted out. After that hit Y on the Joycon to switch weapons.

There's just one thing I don't understand: Why did they make Arthur a weakling and only have to be hit twice to be dead? You'd think he'd be stronger at first glance.
He's just a Normal Human. All he has is Weapons,a bit of magic and his determination.

I'm asking why Arthur loses his armor, fully upgraded or not, after the first hit which automatically leaves him in nothing but his underpants and then becomes a pile of bones on the next. Seriously, you'd think that with his armor fully upgraded, he'd only lose ONE stage of the upgrade instead of fully downgrading to no armor at all on the first hit, then continue to downgrade until he's left naked except for his underwear, and THEN become a pile of bones on the fourth or fifth hit. Explain THAT, if you can.
Does this game also only give you two stinky lives and two hits each for the entire playthrough?
Unlimited lives and you can pick how much hits you can take.
