Luther's commentary on Genesis from thru the flood is a great read. There was a free copy on Amazon for kindle. Very accessible.

So just in your expert opinion. Is Genesis to be taken literally, or is it a mix? Didn’t know the complete Lutheran stance on it
LCMS and WELS position is that Genesis is literal and historical.
ELCA does not have an official position... take that for what it's worth...
I believe genesis have crazy amount of revelations. Im gonna study john walton’s work on it before studying eschatology.
