You discovered alot of new things in NY for those of us who didnt know they existed. I loved the doggie cafe, so adorable. You are wonderful to watch and to listen to, the Travel Channel should hire you and send you all over the world and have you tell us all about the travels. Be safe and continue to do what you do.
If you are ever in New York again and want to take an Amtrak train, you might want to consider the Maple Leaf. This train connects New York with Toronto, and you could consider doing videos from the Greater Toronto Area. From there, you could possibly head back home to BC or take a VIA train eastbound towards Quebec City or even the Maritmes.
Girl, you deserve 2M subscribers, I hope they build quickly for you. I love your manner and delivery. Keep it up, I'm enjoying this way more than I ever did Casey Niestat!
Aww thank you!! Haha 2 million would be lovely, but I think 6,500 is even a heck of a lot of people!! Thanks so much for the comment - glad you are enjoying the videos!!
You've a lovely way of doing your commentary. One of my favorite points. I enjoy good travel, etc. vids and your variety speaks to my millennial soul. 😊 Also, I really appreciate the finances break down/advise. So thanks on that. I will continue exploring your videos.
I love how you always find the quirky. I think I'd be scared to travel in NYC by myself.....but Ive thoroughly enjoyed watching you do so.....thanks for taking me along for the ride.
Aw thanks for watching! Glad it felt like you were traveling there too! I felt very at ease being in nyc alone - there is so much to do, and lots of others also on their own. It definitely takes some getting used to though (solo travel).
I grew up near Coney Island and still live in NY and still got a kick out of your visit to my town. Fun fact: when you were on the high/sky line you briefly glanced by a rusted old arch by pier 54. That’s all that’s left of the old pier 54 building, demolished in the early 90s. That’s where the titanic would have docked had she completed her voyage.
Rockefeller Center, Central Park, Columbia University, Coney Island/The Cyclone, Theater, Museums (so many to choose from), Radio City Music Hall, Prospect Park, The Intrepid (a battle ship museum that also has one of the Concords!), The Ikea Boat (a free boat ride around Manhattan that takes you to Ikea in Brooklyn), South Street Seaport, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho, Art Galleries, Lincoln Center.... so many other things to do in NYC that are free or nearly free!!!
Not you posting about the Friends apartments the day after Chandler Bing passes away 😭😭 R.I.P. Matthew Perry. On the other hand, what a fun video, loved the speak easy bar tour! ❤
If you love Greenwich Village and Williamsburg, HIGHLY recommend Brooklyn Heights. IMHO, better than Dumbo and the other two neighborhoods I mentioned! Great views, good coffee shops, and not touristy.
This is the best video I have ever watched on NYC and you gave me so many ideas of where to stay and what to do. Honestly, before this video, I have very little interest in visiting NYC. Than you. I can’t wait to see your channel continue to grow and you explore more places! I love your channel, how humble, & grateful you are. and your editing skills are amazing!
Oh wow what a compliment haha! This was so lovely to read - I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed the vid and that it even made you want to visit yourself!!! Thank you!!!
I live in NYC and still found your visit fun to watch, I'm more a Midtown tour guide to my out of state friends. Bryant Park and higher. Thanks for posting
Another very enjoyable travel tour Chloe. Although by the end of your video I was starting to call the elevated walkway, "the Sky Highline" Oh well, I suppose that works. :-) Enjoy a cup of coffee on me during your next adventure.
Loved watching this 😊 Just over a month until I get to go back to NYC for my 5th visit, can't wait to return to one of my favourite cities. Fun fact I always stay in the same place which is in Long Island City over in Queens. So chilled and so convenient for getting to both JFK airport and midtown Manhattan
Ooooh I’ve only ever visited Long Island once before! I’ve noticed the hotels and prices are great over there! Perhaps I shall try it again next time 😁 thanks for watching!!
She says style of the bathrooms at Chelsea market is "fancy," but it looks standard for anyone who posts bathroom selfies on the fashion message boards and clothing reviews
Hello By chance can you tell much your Train trip I have been thinking of doing it solo once I get my new legs ( I'm a Veteran Double Amputee do you know if they accommodate inconvenience people??😂
Of course - it was $1900 usd for the entire journey - I am fairly certain they did have a wheelchair accessible room down the hall from my room!! I hope you are able to experience this one day :)
I LOVE the brunch at The Jane Hotel. Also note: it's super haunted.
Oo they have brunch there? It definitely felt like a haunted place 😮

I know! I literally posted the video and then a few hours later, Ludvig told me the terrible news :( Thanks for watching!!
If you love Greenwich Village and Williamsburg, HIGHLY recommend Brooklyn Heights. IMHO, better than Dumbo and the other two neighborhoods I mentioned! Great views, good coffee shops, and not touristy.
Oh no way!!! Wish I had gone there - but thank you, it gives me a great addition to my itinerary for next time ;)

Enchanting!? Why thank you! So happy you enjoyed the vid and welcome to the channel! 😀
Love this new video!
Heheheh thanks Nick!!!❤️
Dog Cafe has me wanting to go. I'll have to check out that hotel too. It's also way cheaper to stay a stop or two away from Manhattan
You’ll definitely have to check out the dog cafe! A super happy place. And yes - do check out the Jane!!
You should try the Canadian from Vancouver to Toronto in a sleeper cabin.
Watch this space... we plan on doing this next year! :D
I know I am 7 months off here. . But when will you two be in Auckland? It is awesome - and can't wait to say hi :) :D
Another very enjoyable travel tour Chloe. Although by the end of your video I was starting to call the elevated walkway, "the Sky Highline" Oh well, I suppose that works. :-) Enjoy a cup of coffee on me during your next adventure.

312 like very nice video hello 🌺🙋🏻♀️💐💯👍
Woo, thank you!!!
I really hoped you enjoyed New York! Maybe you could try New York style pizza?
I loved New York! I didn't get to try a pizza! Haha, that is one thing I missed
Not “Friends”… “Sex and The City”. Been a while since I been to the city, thanks for taking me there. 😊
That's what she said and then she also showed the building in which Friends was filmed, not sure what you misunderstood.
Thanks for watching! Happy to hear you enjoyed!
Do a stay in Brooklyn 😎👍🏻💯
Great idea!! Will hopefully do next time :)

Skyline is a better name tbh
Hahah, I thought so myself clearly😅
I dont know when this was filmed. But now Airbnb are now Illegal in NYC.
This was early September! Our air bnb host did warn us this would happening soon!
Did you ever try new York pizza whilst you were there.
Nooo, I missed that one
How much for that tiny room?
Hmm I can't remember of the top of my head, but I popped the price in the video :)
So happy to watch your video and see that you’re a stoic Kiwi. We don’t care much fer complainers in our country where we are armed to the teeth.
Haha love that! Nothing much bothers us kiwis... we get on with it! Can't wait to visit and experience more of the US!
Wow, girl, u r brave, i heard NY is ghetto
I know some parts are a little rougher than others, but I felt totally safe - just have to have to be street smart when travelling alone.
I heard you’re ghetto! You’ll fit right in.
So much of effort editing and creating and so little views I guess we who live in the usa don’t want to watch what people from NZ do
I think 3000 people is HEAPS
