That standing hook kick to the face 😖 Listen, any person that flexible and fast needs to be left alone. I’ve seen it happen for real, high level…and Chuck made it look absolutely effortless!
I have the honor of saying I actually participated in a light sparring/ exhibition session many years ago with Chuck Norris. It is still today one of the greatest highlights of my life. Speaking from a sincere technical, professional position. Chuck Norris as many already know is the real deal in many ways. The thing that made Sensi Norris so incredibly difficult were his feints. I wish more people would have focused on this part of his expertise. He was seriously hard to telegraph. Anyone in the arts would know what I am talking about. I will never forget my time with him.
That's awesome mate! It's hard to describe just how good those top level guys are until you experience it face to face sometimes. Really for give you a whole new apreciation
I love how the score/music changes. The smooth guitar riffs when ol girl is dying, and then the switch to the intense music when Chuck gets mad and throws the grenade (after expertly dodging automatic gunfire by just shifting left and right no less). So tight. Also, can we give a big shout-out to David Carradine who fought in a v-neck argyle sweater?? That’s the most gangsta thing ever.
I had three years of tang soo do with Chuck Norris studios back in the very early '70s. His brother Aaron was my principle advanced instructor. I did one demo in class with Chuck when I was a 2nd red, and I can tell you that his pulled punches hit me harder than I've ever been hit. Complete control (him, not me). Steve McQueen used to come into our dojo for private lessons with Chuck, and I suspect it was McQueen (who wasn't especially expressive as an actor either) who talked Chuck into going into film.
There s an interview with Chuck talking about working with David. Chuck, as gracious as he can, says how he himself was pulling his strikes but David was not and was literally trying to take Chucks head off. So Chuck had to dish out a little back to David to show what he was doing. So literally we're seeing a pretty real fight here.
David Carradine did have Martial Arts experience. He started training Kung Fu for the TV series and continued after the show went off the air. From what the writers and directors said they did connect and get out of hand. A lot of the original fight was cut and couldn't be used due to the excessive aggressiveness.
I heard Carradine kicked Norris so hard that he couldn't continue the fight any longer so since he can kick the 7 time champion to the point he can't fight pretty much makes Carradine legit badass
@@indyphillipconner6252 That's not true, I tell you what really happened David Carradine seriously hurt Chuck Norris's stunt double, which in the final fight Chuck Norris really fought against Carradine, David Carradine hurt almost the entire cast of the movie, even the girl at the end when he hits her, he hit her for real! that's why in the end chuck decided to do the final fight against david alone, so he prevented another double from being seriously hurt. Here's an actual fact about this fight scene. David Carradine refused to go along with the script that said he character was supposed to lose to Norris' onscreen. He demanded that he not be seen as losing the fight or else he wouldn't film it. Norris got pissed at him for this and the director actually had to keep them from fighting for real on the set. The compromise was that Norris was allowed to deliver his usual finishing jump spinning back kick but Carradine would recover from it so that it didn't look like he had been defeated. The scene of Norris blowing up Carradine with a grenade was then added to kill the character off so that they could finish the film.

😁 I highly recommend you to read Carradine's version of this fight in his book Endless Highway. Yes, it's over 600 pages; this story starts at page 529, it's funny and interesting. And yep, he didn't want to kill Barbara Carrera in cold blood, didn't want to be defeated in hand-to-hand combat (although Kung Fu was not in his mind at the time), and didn't want to die in camera. So, this scene is the result of the compromise achieved by lawyers. However, he describes the scene with enthusiasm, notes that both were nursing previous injuries, and praises Norris' ability.

Correction. David Caradine DID practice martial arts after he was involved in the Kung Fu Tv series. He studied under David Chow, the martial arts/stunt coordinators (and martial arts instructor in his own right.).
Correction to the correction :-) David Chow was a physicoculturist and judo champion. In the second season he was succeeded by Kam Yuen, who had been hired originally to show the praying mantis form, and stayed as Keye Luke double and second to David Chow. He also played a few roles. Kam Yuen was David Carradine's master since then onwards, as much as Carradine's rebellious nature allowed it. In a long interview he gave to Hikari Takano (it is in Takano's website), he said he preferred freedoms to discipline. ✌
And your specialty is being unnecessarily disrespectful. And believing yourself smart, and funny. Lacking in both areas. Probably also lacking in artistic and martial arts talents. Good at knitting, I hope.
Lone Wolf McQuade is one my personal favs With au cours Top Dog, Hitman, Delta Force, The Missing In Action movies and his tv sieries Lone Texes Ranger.
Credit where credit is due, Chuck is one of the few actors in films to properly be seen pulling the pin out of the grenade. Next time you see people use teeth, just know its all BS cause that pin is tight.
Nobody seems to remember or want to recognize his best fight scenes because of the corny plot. In Breaker Breaker they exploited the CB/trucker craze to bring in more audience than MA fans. But Chuck was fresher from the competition scene, so his moves are so fast and crisp it is a joy to watch. If you can review the scene where he escapes from the courthouse and battles his way out of town, you won't be disappointed! It's awesome to see him in his absolute prime. Just ignore the silly trucker stuff and get to that fight, you won't regret it! It isn't often you get to see one of the old Masters- and I mean that genuinely- show off his stuff.
@Burridge Martial Arts actually sir David Carradine who didn’t know a lick of kungfu prior to Kung Fu series claiming he relied on his gymnastic-ballet, fencing, and street fighting background to pull off the moves in the Kung Fu series afterward was so taken with a love for chinese kungfu so much he took up extensive training in kung fu and tai chi chuan from a legit kungfu instructor brought in on set as an advisor and choreographer for series & movie. So Carradine here is a legit martial artist even though Chuck Norris martial arts background is a bit more extensive being that he starting training in korean tangsoodo, judo and taekwondo around 18 yrs old while in the AF then later competing in many point sparring matches and full contact karate competitions. Qualifying Norris to have a good deal bit more experience and skill in comparison to Carradine’s.
Both David and Chuck are great fighters in this movie. However there's no one with Bruce Lee speed technique and otherworldly extrasensory timing abilities.

Never forget that in a movie, whoever wins is scripted, notwithstanding the actors' abilities. Basil Rathbone was a fencing champion, but as he was cast usually as the bad guy, he usually lost against the hero - the actor whom himself had taught fencing. Chuck Norris is a real champion and a so-so actor. David Carradine was a martial arts practitioner for professional reasons only, and acting was his profession. In which he was pretty good. Another Carradine fight in a movie, this time with bowie knives: ua-cam.com/video/3XR9zYx4TLk/v-deo.html Never forget, who wins in a movie is always scripted. Even if you are a real-life champion.

I read that David Carradine debunked that during an interview but I have also heard they couldn't stand each other so not sure which one to believe! I heard that Chuck said Carradine was 'as good a martial artist as I am an actor' haha
ya know how I tend to look at it is that at times with actors, and people that like to be in the spotlight there is always some 2 people that jock for power and attention. I have even herd of actors quitting a gig because they don't like who they are force to act with. it's situations like that drew me in to martial arts, the expression of a person intentions and feeling can be felt in a strike, a block, a trapping technique or a submission hold.
You said David said they never connected...however Chuck will tell a different story. Chuck and David actually do not get along. And there were plenty of real hits in this fight sequence lol

His best film in general for me is Code Of Silence. He gives a decent performance and has a very realistic bar fight.
I like how he beats th9se bbikers asses in silent rage! Lol
Oh man, I’ve never been a Chuck Norris fan but this was fun. I watched my first Chuck Norris fight against Bruce Lee in Return of the Dragon. When Max can, check out Jet Li’s The Defender/The Bodyguard final fight
Actually Carradine´s specialty was the rear naked choke.
And your specialty is being unnecessarily disrespectful. And believing yourself smart, and funny.
Lacking in both areas.
Probably also lacking in artistic and martial arts talents.
Good at knitting, I hope.
"Action Jeans" - awesome.
1:52 Is that Cmdr. Chakotay (Robert Beltran) from Star Trek Voyager?
Lone Wolf McQuade is one my personal favs With au cours Top Dog, Hitman, Delta Force, The Missing In Action movies and his tv sieries Lone Texes Ranger.
This is actually my favorite Chuck Norris flick…
Lmao at the action jeans reference! I need to dig out my old Inside Karate magazines!
I still need to order my action jeans
If you find somewhere to get them let me know!
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 only can find century's kicking jeans
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 There's a Chuck Norris film called The Octagon. There are several good fights in it. Tadashi Yamashita is the main bad guy.
For me, Norris best fight scene was the parking lot scene in Good Guys Wear Black, circa 1977/1978. Great variety of techniques. Well-choreographed.
Honestly as a kid me and my brother absolutely loved this movie!
Bar scene "Silent Rage" is a great Chuck fight scene.
I am excited to watch this
Chuck Norris doesn’t get hurt. Hurt gets Chuck Norrised
The cutting in this Fight Scene is just poooooor !
They enhanced the punching and crunching sound effects of this clip. It’s not this enhanced on my vhs 😂
Credit where credit is due, Chuck is one of the few actors in films to properly be seen pulling the pin out of the grenade. Next time you see people use teeth, just know its all BS cause that pin is tight.
Chuck's a Korean War vet. He knows the deal 👍🏽
My favourite Chuck Norris film lone wolf mcquade what a brilliant film Wayne king
You won't be disappointed I promise!
You should really watch the final final fight scene from Taken 2. Definitely worth a watch.
I could never understand why they made "Walker Texas Ranger" when they could have done a "Lone Wolf McQuade" series.
I think it was originally supposed to be a LWM series but they had to change it around due to a rights issue. I'm sure I read that somewhere.
I remembered this fight scene recently. Thought to suggest.
Chuck Norris did some great fights in his movies, even the worst one is worth watching for the fights!
There’s no such thing as a bad Chuck Norris movie.
Please do a reaction to the last fight scene of Best of the Best with the Rhee Brothers? Probably the best pure Taekwondo fight scene ever!!!
Tang Soo Do
That music is so absolutely 80s it's painful. Lol
Oh, yeah also on of my favorites of Caradine.
chuck had some pretty kicks
there's an awesome dolph lundgren kick in I Come In Peace
To this day, I'm still amazed at how "The Norris" could get his legs that high in such tight jeans?!?!?
They were no ordinary jeans

"Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." Then you clearly haven't seen someone who has seen someone hit their dream car.
If Chuck round kicked the grenade, he would’ve blown up Mars.
Invasion American, Chuck Norris: "If you don't leave, I'm going to hit you with so many rights you're going to beg me for a left"
Both David and Chuck are great fighters in this movie. However there's no one with Bruce Lee speed technique and otherworldly extrasensory timing abilities.
I'm a hugh fan of Bruce but I have seen plenty of people as good or better even Bruce said he found people that were faster so he had to learn to be deceptive.
Chuck Norris vs Keanu Reeves fight of the century right there
As actors Chuck would cripple Keanu because he's a trained martial artist. If you're talking about characters then that is different
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 honestly your kinda right chuck is getting old as you can see in the videos I feel all does acting and moving around can help Keanu Reeves
@@jaysonraphaelmurdock8812 With a gun Keanu Reeves would obliterate Chuck Norris with a gun as proven in Taran Tactical videos.
In terms of lethality potential Keanu Reeves > Chuck
LOL I'm pretty sure that this entire movie was made just for this fight scene.
Some Donnie Yen movies would be good. Loved him since I saw him in Blade 2 as the character Snowman. That grasshopper kick he does to the reaper was epic.
Red Vs Blue: Revelation - Ep 10: This One Goes To Eleven
Did Norris also do the choreography for this fight scene?.... If so, he made Carradine look pretty good.
the rumor was that bruce was suppose to be the villian instead of david but he passed away before that could happen.
I think you mean Carlos Ray Norris.
I have a 1st Dan in Tang Soo Do... therefore it's mandatory to watch all things Chuck Norris... and to grow a beard. O.o haha but seriously Chuck has some pretty classic films out there that aren't too shabby.
The director of this movie said they were really fighting..
You might need to look into the clips of fights you are reviewing first as this is flipped and is a "Fan Edit" of the fight. It takes away too much from the actual scene from the movie. But still glad you watched it.
Great! Request: John Wick 3: Parabellum, with Cecep Arif Rahman & Yayan Ruhian (Pencak Silat).
Another Carradine fight in a movie, this time with bowie knives:

Never forget, who wins in a movie is always scripted. Even if you are a real-life champion.
Should totally check out a scene from the badass movie Upgrade!!!
Specifically the kitchen fight scene!
This movie gives me Tekken vibes all day
You ahould really check out the city of violence, it has amazing fights in it
You should 100% do the first IP man 1v10 or the second IP man the table scene
can you react to The Crow fighting scenes?
The Crow for me one of the best comic book movies ever, with Watchmen, Sin City, V For Vendetta, Hellboy Golden Army, Nolan Batman Trilogy and Avengers Infinity War.
Dude in the hat decided enough was enough, left this life behind to become a Voyager...
from a dusty had to first officer...not bad hat guy :D

When a guy gets in a fight with an argyle sweater on, you know he's gonna get his ass kicked.
Imagine losing to someone in an Argyle sweater though!?
All Chuck Norris jokes are facts.
I enjoyed David’s back fist !
I thought his worst mistake was letting Chuck get up at 2:32 -- but then I saw 2:40.
Bruce Lee is the only man in the world to beat Chuck Norris in a fight.
You need to watch the Shang Chi bus fight scene.
it's impossible that these men didn't connect because they hated each other during the filming of this movie
You have to watch the bar fight in avengement Scott Adkins
You said David said they never connected...however Chuck will tell a different story. Chuck and David actually do not get along. And there were plenty of real hits in this fight sequence lol
Yeah I heard both versions of the story, one saying that they hit each other and don't like each other and the other saying they were totally fine and nothing was up. So who knows what the actual story is there
@@BurridgeMartialArts604 I hear ya..there are always two sides to each story. I love your vids by the way. I practiced martial arts for many years so naturally I love all thing martial arts lol. Keep up the good work.
Check the hero and terror last fight scene it's another chuck Norris fight
Delta force is good one with Chuck Norris
yea i think Arnold wore the same jeans in commando
