Dear Skillet, You have save my life. I used to cut and have attempted suicide 3 times. But after i listen to you, telling me its going to be ok, i feel like i can pull through anything.
December 2009 was the Last Night I spent alone. I almost took my own life by taking a hand full of pills then I had what I like to call a God moment and I heard a voice saying don't do it your loved. It was him saying that. Ever since then if I have issues I will fall to my knees and pray that God will lift my burdens and help me get threw another day.

I definitely relate to this song. It has been the only thing that got me through hell. Skillet is my hero, they are the reason I'm still breathing and making me enjoy my life.
My mother suffered from cancer when i was 3 years old. She survived it but it was a very hard time for her. When i was 13 she tried to commit suicide.. i gave myself the fault for this. I werent a easy Child. In the year 2020 her mother died and her Sister were diagnosted with stage 3 lung cancer. Two years later she died. My poor mother started drinking when i was 14. sometimes she doesnt drink at all but sometimes she drinks everyday. I had a toxic boyfriend a few months ago. Our relationship were so toxic he called me a whore and was so manipulative. I broke up with him and then he said he would beat me up it his Friends will kill me.
skillet use the background vocals in their songs. in thins version we can hear the Korey's voice like in the "iTunes Session". and in Awake and Alive we can hear Jen's backgroung voice too. it's very upset.
