Will the data on my moto 4 SD card automatically transfer to my new pixel 7 or is there something I must do to make that happen?
Apart from Photos n Videos, this has transferred nothing. And both of which I anyway have back up on my mac. and yeah, the contacts too. But what about all my notes, apps (with data), chats, messages, settings n all. Can iPhone to pixel7A even be possible. this is frustrating after factory resetting the phone twice! : ( Im using the lightening to usbc cable btw, I don't use icloud / googledrive. Dont really know why this is jus not happening!

About those swipes, it can be a pain in the behind. I moved from a Moto G7 that had the great Moto gestures. On the surface they are similar but in reality they are very different. I have learned memory for the Moto gestures and got frustrated with how the Pixel performed. The Pixel will never be as good functionally as the Moto until they use Moto gestures. However, it is less a problem as you use the phone. It is livable but I hope they change a few things. The most disconcerting is the shortcut buttons to the Accessibility features. Especially the green quick menu button. They used to have that on a little stick figure at the bottom of the screen. Now it is located somewhere on the edge of the screen where it is always in the way. If you were to use all of the accessibility features, with their different colored buttons grouped on the side of the screen, it would be a huge mess. Can't imagine someone actually thought to do it that way. They could also have easily eliminated the search bar and given more space to the screen. Essentially the search bar is a shortcut that pops to the top of the screen. They could have frozen the little silver bar on the bottom and used that as a shortcut. I also don't like the frozen clock, date, weather icon on the top. I have a transparent weather icon I have used for years and would like to put that there. Finally, the search bar is either black or a stark white. While there are some color options for app icons, if you can't just delete the search bar, then I would like some way to adjust the color. This was an excellent video and I hope Google watches for suggestions they can use.
I have a Moto G7 and will be so glad to switch. It didn't even qualify for trade-in value. The camera on it is AWFUL, and the Pixel's is one of the best. So people have different priorities.
