I believe you are the first user in the whole world who is getting 2 days of battery life, otherwise people are not even able to finish off one full day with slightly heavy usage.
Uggh, i want to buy either Samsung S23 or Pixel 7, when i heard 2 days battery I was sceptical since no one gets that much due to overheating shit... I think I will go with S23 instead 🤔
@@omoaigbokhaevbo3573 I ended up buying the Samsung S23 and I LOVE IT!!😁 It have never overheated (compared what I've read that Pixel 7 does), it's fast and the best phone I've ever owned. That's it, everything else the S23 is much better. And the camera on S23 is already very very good. As soon as I bought the phone I downloaded Nova Launcher which lets me customized the layout, menu etc and baaam a good looking menu. I've owned the pixel 3A, 4A, 6A, and now the 7. And I gotta say it's a great daily smartphone, it has pretty much all of the flagship features and performance but with a lot of nice touches especially with AI. My entire family ended up getting the 6A because many months ago there was a deal if you trade in your old pixel phone you can get the 6A for $150 after trade in and a free pair of pixel-A series wireless earbuds, which is a crazy deal.
Totally agree, Nexus 6P was my all time favourite phone until I upgraded to a Pixel 5 which is now #1. Loved everything about that phone. It's a shame Google ditched the smaller form factor. I like my 7 but the fingerprint sensor gets a 4/10 from me and it's too big for one handed use...
@@brandenbridge5307 Yeah, the screen fingerprint sensor is no way as good as the back sensor on the Pixel 5; it is made more tolerable by face unlock but that doesn't work at night.
@@Zeus_X8 I traded up my 5 for the 7 during the holiday sale and really got a good deal. 7 is nice but it feels super heavy and like you got a brick in your pocket vs the 5 which felt much lighter and more portable. I tried my friends 6a which feels like a blend of both -- big nice screen like the 7 but lighter like the 5. Kind of wishing I got a 6a instead now
Had Pixel 1 and 3 and loved both of them. I held onto my Pixel 3 until November of last year. It was getting slow and battery life was just too little. I got a trade in value of $247 for my old trusty P3. Got the Lemongrass P7. After tax and all it came to $405. Amazing phone. Battery will last basically a full day of use with still 20 percent left when I go to bed. A small bug related to the unlocking of the phone was rectified with a recent update. This is as perfect a phone as it can get. And the price tag is absolutely incredible for what I'm getting.
I've had my Pixel 7 for less that 24 hours and when I woke up today I had a pink line from top to bottom on my screen. Other than that (which I will get replaced), I love the phone! Swapped from my S21 Ultra after being with Samsung basically forever, and honestly its a very refreshing experience for the price difference, it feels so much more worth the money already!
I got the 7 a month and a half ago after the S20FE. It was very love hate at first, little things were different and minor annoyances (like not having a quick toggle for silent/sound, or rather moving it to the volume slider) but after getting used to it, I love it. What it does well, it does REALLY well. Hopefully they'll get the theme coloured icons to work with all icons soon.
Agreed a quick toggle for silent on the volume button would be a great feature. The button is extra steps. It's probably what I miss most from my Samsung phone.
I've been loving my pixel 7 pro. I switched from the OnePlus 9 pro that was beginning to drive me CRAZY with software issues. I'm so done with OnePlus phones. Having a first party phone with the quickest updates has been great. And while OnePlus disappointed me greatly with their photos, this pixel phone has been amazing. I might be a Pixeler for life .
I am in the exact same boat as you. I'm currently using a OnePlus 8, and I've been a big fan of OnePlus for several years now. But their software, (which used to be one of my favorite things about the phone) is now beginning to drive me absolutely nuts and is making me want a new phone. There's nothing wrong with my OnePlus 8 from the hardware side, everything works fine. But the software is just UGH.
I'm getting a new Pixel 7 in two days. So in lieu of the actual phone I'm watching a lot of videos. And yours was one of the best. Well produced, well presented. Clear, concise and made me even more excited for the arrival of my new phone. Just a great job with this video. Thanks so much!
Bai@@rosan.Bhandarii Basically positive. The only sort of off putting aspect is it seems to have a mind of its own. I don't know if it's software updates or what but with some regularity I'll find settings I'd made changed to settings seemingly the phone has made. Not a big deal just a little annoying when it happens.
@@december8538Think your reply is for somebody else. I have a Pixel 7 and have had no trouble at all with either audio or call quality. Both have been just fine. From my experience I wouldn't worry about these aspects.
The pixel 7 is my 3rd pixel phone. Pixel 2 XL was my first, loved the finger print scanner on the back. I then upgraded to the pixel 4 about 3 months before the pandemic hit. I missed the finger print scanner on my 2XL. With face unlock not working most of the time at the store due to my face having a mask on, the pixel 4 seemed like a step down at the time. I recently picked up a pixel 7 and I love it. Great battery life, finger print scanner and face unlock. My only complaint is, I wish it was just a touch smaller. The one thing I did really like about my Pixel 4 was the size, if the 7 was the same size it would be perfection.
I have been using a pixel 7 pro for the past 3weeks and I have to say it's been great. My only gripe with the phone is no manual mode in the camera app.
the reason the "icon pack" is still on beta is because it actually isn't an icon pack. apps need to have support for it. the system then simply uses the "icon" and colors it according to your settings. so the problem are the app developers not adding support for it.
Love everything about the phone, except one bug that drives me insane, and ruins my experience - that elusive Bluetooth connection issue, well known but still unsolved after 3 updates already. It's not a general issue for every phone, but when googled it you'll find tons of reports, so I presume it is quite widespread. 4 BT headsets, from Senheiser, Bose, Anker and AKG, they all act the same with Pixel 7 Pro, while connect and work without any issues with an older Note9, a tablet and two windows PCs.
Bluetooth is just garbage in terms of sound quality lol the only good thing is ldac other than that it's not worth it, better to be wired with a dac/amp portable
I agree with you about the photos. Took the Pixel 7 on vacation. Never took a bad photo! Whatever Situation I put it through. It would constantly deliver amazing photos. Have the Pixel 5 now I was hesitant on switching because I don't like the larger form factor Google is going with. but after a week of using the Pixel 7 I'm switching from the P5 to the P7. Best Camrea on a phone hands down!
Great video! You perfectly resume the phone and the experience that people can have around it. Here is mine ! I pre ordered the Pixel 7 back in september, and received it with the Buds Pro for free, and it's the best deal I've ever had! My previous phone was the Redmi Note 7, and after 2 and a half years, the phone was super slow and laggy.. I'm currently a student but I work half of the time so I had money to buy a new phone! I'm also a tech addict who follow all the news and I knew that this Pixel 7 will kill everything on the market at that time, especially at this price! I was super hyped and when I got the phone, it litterally change my life, all the things was smooth, I can finally worked in good conditions and not wait the phone to load an app or processing something. And the simplicity, the intelligence of the software are points that make our live better! Hope this phone will last for 4-5 years in my pocket, because i just love it!
I bought the Pixel 7 (regular) Lemon grass a few months ago and was discounted minus $200 CAD. What a deal. I'm still enjoying my Pixel 7. I was using a Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus for 2 years+ which is still working. Very good review man :)
I've just ordered the Pixel 7 for the camera alone, upgrading from the 4a which I've really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to seeing what it can do and how things have improved on the Google phones.
I love my 4XL right now. I'm not a fan of the extreme camera bump on the back, but I am realizing as I type this, that I actually tend to lay my phone face down anyway. hmm, haha.
Just decided to move on from my 3a due to breaking my screen to a 7plus ..I'll miss the unlimited photo storage, 3.5mm aux and back finger sensor...I may be back though. We'll see.
@@prathamdhoka6418 hardly at all, the only downside is the fingerprint recognition doesn't work with a screen protector on. Other than that it's a great phone
My Pixel 7 Pro has been absolutely a beast in every department for me and the features that Google Assistant brings to the table, which strangely weren't mentioned much in the video, are game changers. The fact that I don't have to hold my phone against my ear to listen to hold music whenever I have to call a business or that I don't have to deal with any sort of spam anymore paired with Google One VPN, secured me as a long term customer of Pixel phones and I won't be going back to Samsung Galaxy phones anytime soon unless Samsung is able to match Google in those departments. Google cannot afford to rest on their laurels even if on they're on the top of the smartphone game at the moment. They have a clear opportunity to capitalize on their Pixel phones features and software to steal market share from Samsung who's been dominating for so long.
The Pixel 7 is the phone that is making me doubt about staying in iOS. It is very good for me and the battery lasts me like 2 days. I'm not a "power user" nor do I play games on my phone. Software's smooth, cameras are nice. Although, I'm a bit annoyed by the excess of the bokeh effect (for my test) that I get from photos taken from the main sensor with 1x, those get better if I get a bit farther away and use the 2x instead. The only thing I do not like about the Pixel 7 is the dimensions... both size and weight, I'm not a fan. I'm using it along an iPhone 12 and I miss the 6.1" size (and would love a 5.4" or 5.8" like the iPhone Minis or the iPhone 11 Pros) and the very lightweight the iPhone is.
I think the biggest problem is that they market the exynos being on par with the Snapdragon variant. Google markets the pixel as not being as powerful and not charges at much as the competitors.
One of the things I kind of miss in some of the reviews is....update policy. The fact that this phone gets 5 years of support (after release) is a great little extra that just pushed me to getting this over say an Oppo phone.
The Pixel 6 running Android 13 is fine - not had any bugs and I got it in the UK for half the price of the Pixel 7. But I upgraded from a Galaxy 7 so it was bound to be far better.
I owned nexus 5, 6, 6p, pixel 2, 3xl, 4, 4a, 6a and now 7. This is by far the most rounded phone i had since nexus 5, even though i enjoyed 3xl initially it felt as if it wasnt up their in android segment. I wanted to get my hands on 7 pro but at the price 7 was offered, cant beat it!!
I got the 7 pro, and after a few months I can say that the best pixel phone was the Pixel 5, which is probably my favorite phone ever made. It has a great form factor, light, has a good screen, the cameras do just what I need (zoom, great night shooting), and the battery lasts a decent amount of time. The 7's battery life is underwhelming, its camera does not seem better in most situations and the size, well this is a personal choice, but I prefer slightly smaller and lighter phones.
I like the balance of my 6a. Perfect screen size, feel in hand, 4400 battery and for me great performance. The 2 12mp cameras are exceptional. I own an appraisal business and used to shoot with an DSLR. This Pixel 6a takes exceptional photos. Best bang for the buck in smart phones in my opinion.
@@nareshu1708 Nobody compares cameras by score. That's just people that like to read off a spec sheet and say they have the best thing. Cameras are all personal preference unless they are truly bad
Well... I got the pixel 7 around last December, never owned a pixel before, and a couple of weeks ago I dropped the phone down into a storm drain :) I got my phone back 3 days later and I let it properly dry. To my surprise, the phone was still working fine without any issue and the battery was at 47%, so yeah, I would recommend getting a pixel 7 if you are as clumsy as me.
I got my pixel 7 in january because my phone contract was up. And I can honestly say I haven't had any major problems with my pixel 7. The photos look great, the videos look great, the software has been awesome.
I really wanted to buy a pixel but the availability and stores that sell them are pretty hard to find. When you find someone selling its 33% markup in some asian countries
Great video thanks. Great to see majority of phones are great. You asked for comments on peoples experience so.... I converted to my wife to Pixel from Apple and she was very happy with the Pixel 5, but upon updating to 7 she's had nothin but problems with Bluetooth since Dec last year. Have contacted Google and they're reply is "Sorry' we're aware of a problem, it will be fixed in the next update" but there's been a couple of updates and it's still not working. Looks like it's a quite common problem too, agree with Florin M comments below, it's common across the Google community. Unfortunately it's come to next step contacting Google and requesting a Return Authority.
The microphone quality in the video is amazing. I love this phone, my wife wants a pixel phone as well. Will the 7A have the same software functionalities? I know it isnt out yet but maybe it was the same with 6 and 6a.
Pixels don’t tend to have different software capabilities between the main line and the A series. You’re just getting a lower res screen and plastic body. If the 6a is anything to go by, you’ll have the same tensor chip as the main line, same or similar main camera at less cost.
@@NyteStalker89 Thanks for the comment, I did read that the 7a will also have a 90hz screen switch on it so that sounds even better. My wife and I prefer smaller phones so she is probably going to get the 7a and I might wait for the 9a in the future (if its still the same size).
6:10 Well, why would you want supersteady enabled at all times? It does lower quality, but it's better if you're filming something on the move. And yeah, I don't see why you'd want to film in 10 bit HDR at all times either, so I'm glad these are off by default. You really think the average person should have 10 bit HDR on for all their videos?
Watching for the first time and Your Videos are really eye pleasing man! the quality and all the cinematics all are on another level! keep making these!
Had the Pixel 7 since launch, honestly it's a great phone with all the features and camera, the battery isn't great compared to other phones, fingerprint sensor is very bad - works sometimes in daylight but does not work at all at night
Returned my 7 pro, worst experience I've ever had with a phone. Laggy and the phone would overheat to 40°C in normal usage. Google told me this is normal, the phone started to disable the flash and mobile network due to this. One of the worst chips I've ever used.
I have had Samsung Galaxy phones for about 6 years. Picking up the new one every year. I got tired of all the bloatware on every Galaxy phone year after year. Decided to go with the pixel 7 and have loved every minute of it. I will never go back. I love having a clean OS.
This is very well put together. It felt informative and the approach makes it easy for even the least tech savvy person to understand what's what. Well done
I hope in future android updates we get our own theme store like Samsung that would be brilliant cause I love my pixel I have the 6a cause it was my firs pixel so wanted to see what like rather than splashing out in the 7 pro.
Loyal Pixel user since October 2016 thus far I've had P1, P3, P5, P6 and now P7 each one has been better than the last. the current iteration is easily the best one.
I've been an iPhone user for a long time, the last android I had was the Pixel XL and I loved it. I've been thinking about a switch back but I wasn't sure, this video has made me switch back!
I hope the pixel 8 pro will have better cooling and a brighter screen I'm worried about how my pixel 7 pro will handle the Arizona summer this year. And the display needs to get brighter, i can barely see my screen in direct sunlight with the p7p.
Quite literally the only thing about this phone I would change is the battery. It's not completely useless but it drains a lot while sitting and doing nothing than most phones I've owned.
Watching on a Pixel 3A XL I've been using non stop for the past 3 years now. I'm only upgrading because the battery is starting to show its age. Best phone ever. Can't wait for my 7.
I come down from two Motorola phones, which use stock Android with some Motorola specific apps, but no launchers or skins. So the Pixel 7 felt quite similar to me. I must say the total stock Android experience is even better than I imagined though. I love it. I've had my gripes with the fingerprint sensor not always working though and the camera having some weird colors and fuzziness here and there at certain low light conditions. Not even the cheaper Motorola phones had any of these issues tbh, so that's a bit of a shame though.
@samuelviets I have the normal Pixel 7 because I don't like the round sides and it just looks too huge to me. Pixel 7 is like the perfect smartphone size honestly. Personally I think iPhones are overpriced for what they bring. The Pixel is like the equivalent of iPhone, only a lot cheaper with the same functionality (maybe even better) because Google optimize the software to their own phones.
I traded in my pixel 4a 5G for the pixel 7 and the phone has been solid. The battery life has been okay..but I switched off 5G and just use LTE and it lasts me the entire day with battery remaining. The pixel 7 has had the least bugs I've experienced in all my pixel phones I've owned in the past. The fingerprint scanner is hit or miss, but combining it with face unlock helps. As always, images are solid but I feel they should have an option to adjust the highlights and shadows. The photos seem a little too HDR for me. Overall it has been the best pixel phone I've had.
Hi. I am using a Pixel 4a. How are the speakers on the 7? I heard they are poor. And the reviewer hints at this, but he also says call quality is good.
THANKS for your great review of your Pixel 7! Been reviewing etc. to decide whether to make da BIG BUY - you pushed me over da TOP - I am going to order the 7 for special $399 at Best Buy - goes off special tomorrow!
i really just wish it was a 6.1 phone instead of 6.4 goofle really dominate the smaller form factor market. especially with the death of the iphone mini. hopefully the pixel 8 goes down a bit
I still have my pixel 6 that hasn't been used very much because I use my iPhone more. I'm very happy with it and could upgrade but might holdout until the 8 to see what they do with it. Eventually may make the pixel my main phone.
You are doing well getting 2 days battery life, I have a 7 Pro with dark mode enabled and only get just over a day and am not a particularly heavy user.
I'm using the pixel 7 pro, and my experience has been great, probably the best Android phone I have used so far, and the price (A$1200, 512GB unit) I got it for is just the icing on the cake
I would wait for Pixel 8 or get Samsung galaxy s23 if you prefer smaller phone. S23 has been excellent so far. I still have Pixel 7 but in terms of everyday use and not just camera use I use S23 mainly.
I've been using a pixel 6 pro, and I considered getting a 7 but it wasn't a big enough upgrade and my phone does what I need it to and takes great pictures.
Switching from a one plus 8 pro to pixel 7 there was some annoying things such as the fingerprint was lacking behind the 8 pro And the 120hz downgrade to 90 was noticeable the first while then you get used to a perfect display with the better handling because of the flat display which was one of the first reasons to switch phones to begin with. Saying that the software experience on the google phone is superior let alone the camera system, Don't get me wrong even in today's standards the one plus 8 pro camera is very capable The pixel 7 gets even slower wired and wireless charging than the one plus ! And even with that I consider the pixel 7 a better phone in general due to its stability and refined experience.
Love my pixel 7. I chose it over a i13pro because of its simplicity and uncluttered os. I mainly use Google services so it's a logical option. I've been using Google phones since the nexus6p a long time ago....
I switch from Iphone 5S to the first Pixel phone years ago. I loved the phone until it started having software problems. Got a new Pixel phone from Google and it was amazing until 13 months later when software bricked the phone. It was the first gen and google sent me a Pixel 2 and it was amazing... until 13 months later when a software updated made the phone unusable. I got a Samsung note 9 and it always works, a couple of years later I got the 21 Ultra the release week it came out and I am still using it 3 years later and it has had no problems. I will not touch another pixel phone ever. I do not trust Google to put out software without someone else vetting it first. I love using android but I need my phone to work all the time no matter what and Pixel can't promise me this.
Coming from a OnePlus 6, my Pixel 7 pro experience has been great. I mainly care about battery life, since I use my phone all day, and it's a breath of fresh air knowing that I don't have to charge it half way through the day like my 6 had too. The S22 ultra had better battery performance, I had it for a week before having to return it, but the 7 pro isn't that far off and vastly cheaper.
Yeah same here, it's been great and the perfect replacement phone for those wanting to jump ship from OnePlus after the direction they've taken in the past couple of years. The P7P is different and better, but still familiar in a way while solving some of the annoying pet peeves I had with the OnePlus. I upgraded from a OnePlus5 myself.
I had to charge my Pixel twice a day with barely 2-3 hours screen on time. The battery performance was utterly horrible and I returned it 2 weeks later to get a Samsung.
I was loving pixel 7 until I started seeing how many short comings it has. Yes, it does have the best camera, yes the OS is the best Android, yes all those Google specific features are so handy but it fails in so many areas. 1. It is not the fastest processor. I use to think this doesn't matter because I don't play games but sometimes I can crash the phone or slow it down by opening too much and not having a snapdragon 8 gen 2 does effect camera performance and stops it from reaching bigger heights. 2. While battery life is great it's not the best. I've seen tons of comparisons where it doesn't look like it even ranks in the top 10. 3. The screen specs are not top notch. Yes it's a great oled but I'm sorry it should be 120hz. I do notice the difference even though people say they don't. It's no where near as bad as 60hz but in this day and age it should be in the phone. 4. This phones speakers are trash. My s21 and even my s20 fe have speakers so loud that in side by side I can't even hear the pixel. These speakers are trash.5. if you're going to take out all those things or skimp on them, just throw in all 3 cameras. I shouldn't have to dump $800 for the pro just for some of these features like 120hz and a telephoto lens be a use I don't like the pros size and curved screen. The 7a shouldn't be budget but should have launched alongside them or atleast have a 7 plus with 120hz and telephoto lens and priced right in between the 2 versions we got. I would have gladly paid the difference which is probably another $100. 6 and finally, my most annoying and hated thing about this phone that's making me switch, the charge time. This thing charges so God damn slow even on a 30w or higher charger. It is slowed down on purpose to save the battery long term same as iphone and I hate this. No matter what I do thos phone takes almost 2 hours to charge from dead to 100. In 2023 this is flat out unacceptable and as someone like me who uses my phone all day this thing can last from 8am to 9pm but I've found myself either waiting to go out on weekends till I have atleast 50% charge in 30 minutes or running out and being standard without an Uber. This may be a me problem but the charge time is waaaaay to slow and inconvenient. Bonus: this phone does not work to cast OR use an HDMI to connect to a TV. The only way it will do it is to buy a Chromecast for $60, not to mentioned the charger is not included in the box. Google is becoming greedy like apple.
The charging thing: Mine gets charged on the same charger for my Macbook Pro, which is a 60W AC adapter. In the past I did notice it randomly does this 'we're changing this slower to conserve battery' but not recently. It could be I turned off some setting without noticing or it could be one of the software updates Google did. I never paid attention to it much but one day when I needed to charge multiple devices I noticed the phone was at 97% in around 1 hour. To be fair, I think I charged it from 20%. I'm not sure if it kicks in with that 'we're changing this slower' when you charge from very low battery level. I'm not sure what phone you had prior to Pixel 7, being a previous Android user, I already have Chromecast and not getting a charger was not an issue as I can use the charger from my previous phone just fine. The included cable was the important one as older phones didn't use USB-C cable yet. I've got so much USB charger, including power boards with USB power, it was good I didn't get another one. My previous Samsung phone was also only able to cast using Chromecast and no HDMI connection (hence why I already have Chromecast, bought from a previous sale when new Chromecast version were released so I bought mine for $10).
I didn't compromise anything @@jordanjackson8873, I think you read my comment wrong. I was outlining how I didn't experience the same thing as OP and some of the points he raised were either a non-issue for existing Android user or a welcome change.
There's a horrible bug on Android 13 right now, and pixel phones in particular where high pitched voices seem to filter out. You can google it and see the complaints on the pixel issue tracker and reddit as far as 5 months back. people with high pitched voices (like some women/children) get filtered out by the software processing of the mic. This happens to me and my gf and it makes her phone a 600 dollar brick. :I
So i have had the pixel 7 pro for a couple months now, and upgraded from a Samsung note8 yeah it was time to make that upgrade! (lol) so my only concern about the pro is the curved glass... i got a Zagg screen protector for obvious reasons. but for some reason they dont make the full glass protector anymore its just the glued on film type. they had said they dont make those because of the curved glass.. but when i got my note 8 years ago they had an amazing glass protector and warranty. so yeah the film that comes with the Zagg product depending on the temperature can effect the fingertips and pressing on apps and the keyboard, but all in all amazing phone! and for the record otter boxes really dont need to be more than 50 dollars ffs... they cost maybe 5-10$ to manufacture. i was able to get a bank folio style case for 20 on amazon which is really made in china so not the best quality but it works instead of shelling out the 80+ for an otter box name. thanks Hardware Canucks love the content cant wait for more
I had a VERY buggy first 2 weeks with it and it didn't help that asking others on reddit turned into "well it's not happening to me so you must be a bot". Then randomly (or after 2 updates?) beyond that two week period the bugs have seemingly disappeared. I still have other gripes though, now playing is only functional on demand, they go overboard when it comes to silencing notifications in vibrate mode, etc, but it's a solid phone, the things I hate aren't enough to immediately sell it
I have a pixel 6 pro and it has been a ok phone. The battery life was not so good but everything else was decent. Do you think its better to wait for the 8 or get a 7 while its on sale for 450 .
Wondering if I should change my Motorola Edge 30 Ultra for this one...Looks very good the pixel 7. My Motorola looks superb on paper, real life experience, lacks a lot on software support , still running android 13....
I've had the pixel 7 for nearly two months. It's mostly great, except for the battery life. It's really poor. General performance is spotty at times but mostly ok. Overall it's a phone you buy for the software and maybe the camera nothing else.

Is it long lasting...like I want to buy it but only if it can last for 3 to 4 yrs?

I just want them to unlock that 50 mpx. If it exists don't take it away, leave it as an option for us to choose.
Eber's long term are easily my favourite reviews on UA-cam. Love his approach and specially love the photo samples!
You a classic Porsches fan too? 😀
Love my pixel 7, I prefer the smaller form factor of my old pixel 5, but the 7 is probably the best smart phone I've had since the nexus 6p
Is the 7 much bigger than the 5? I'm due an upgrade I currently have the 5 and it's been a great phone. So debating if I should go with the 7
@@Zeus_X8 Its a very noticeable bump in size. If wait for the pixel 7a if you can, seems to be basically the same phone

It's probably what I miss most from my Samsung phone.
could've got at least year more out of s20fe i believe,
@@wittyusername1 probably. But my screen was smashed and the cost to upgrade wasn't much more. And I like the pixel 7 more so....

@Spit Dragon 💚 opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.
What software issues did you have with your oneplus 9 pro? And on which android version?
Damn that sucks 😅 I'm still using my 7 pro and it's working perfectly!
Thanks so much!
did you purchased it? how is your experience ?
Bai@@rosan.Bhandarii Basically positive. The only sort of off putting aspect is it seems to have a mind of its own. I don't know if it's software updates or what but with some regularity I'll find settings I'd made changed to settings seemingly the phone has made. Not a big deal just a little annoying when it happens.

I heard audio quality is poor. Is that also call quality? Or is one good and the other poor?
I genuinely forgot I had a pixel 2xl too. I loved that thing.
I switched over to my Pixel 7 from an iPhone 11. Very happy with it. Even bought the Pixel Buds Pro to go alongside it!
I have the 11 pro. Not sure between getting the pixel 7 or S23
@@chrisuk1541 depends on your budget
switched from iphone X to pixel 7 pro life changing for me
Google offer much more for trade ins which is a deal for me
I have been using a pixel 7 pro for the past 3weeks and I have to say it's been great. My only gripe with the phone is no manual mode in the camera app.
the reason the "icon pack" is still on beta is because it actually isn't an icon pack. apps need to have support for it. the system then simply uses the "icon" and colors it according to your settings. so the problem are the app developers not adding support for it.
Pixel 7 is the first phone I had that I never thought about upgrading
Love everything about the phone, except one bug that drives me insane, and ruins my experience - that elusive Bluetooth connection issue, well known but still unsolved after 3 updates already. It's not a general issue for every phone, but when googled it you'll find tons of reports, so I presume it is quite widespread. 4 BT headsets, from Senheiser, Bose, Anker and AKG, they all act the same with Pixel 7 Pro, while connect and work without any issues with an older Note9, a tablet and two windows PCs.
What's the issue. I just bought this phone to use with Bose quiet comfort earbuds 2
I still have my Pixel 6 and I love it. I just didn't wanted to change to Pixel 7 after only a few months.
Damn! your video capturing and editing skills are fantastic😍!!!
We'll see.
Same here.I still love my 4a, though!!
I am thinking of upgrading from my 4a too, how much does it heat?
It's kind of funny that people hate Samsung fab and absolutely trash talk exynos but praise pixels.
Yeah very true.
Tbh, one should not buy pixel or samsung phones bcos of crap exynos chips. These chips heats on even on basic usage.
I think the biggest problem is that they market the exynos being on par with the Snapdragon variant. Google markets the pixel as not being as powerful and not charges at much as the competitors.
@@eziofilho99 Performance might not be great but their neural engine is pretty awesome. They should have marketed AI from the start.
Tensor chip has been fabricated by Samsung for Google.. Exynos and Tensor are step siblings 😂
One of the things I kind of miss in some of the reviews is....update policy. The fact that this phone gets 5 years of support (after release) is a great little extra that just pushed me to getting this over say an Oppo phone.
Samsung offers 5 years too now
3 android updates + 2 of security updates ! Not the same as Samsung
Totally agree. I've not had an issue with the battery in my smaller Pixel 7 but I'd much rather have a Pixel 5 with the new camera and G2 processor

This is the first time, I am seeing lag in Pixel + blur in images. Everyone praises it for always having a crisp shot of moving objects.
You make really cool videos, man!

Any reports on the cameras breaking on the 7's?
Quite literally the only thing about this phone I would change is the battery. It's not completely useless but it drains a lot while sitting and doing nothing than most phones I've owned.

Switching from a one plus 8 pro to pixel 7 there was some annoying things such as the fingerprint was lacking behind the 8 pro
And the 120hz downgrade to 90 was noticeable the first while then you get used to a perfect display with the better handling because of the flat display which was one of the first reasons to switch phones to begin with.
Saying that the software experience on the google phone is superior let alone the camera system, Don't get me wrong even in today's standards the one plus 8 pro camera is very capable
The pixel 7 gets even slower wired and wireless charging than the one plus !
0:01 Dayum this NSX lookin' good
I really love my pixel 7, can't complain anything 😊
@julesverneinoz gooe god it's like you compromise your entire experience and all the convenience of having a smart phone

I was outlining how I didn't experience the same thing as OP and some of the points he raised were either a non-issue for existing Android user or a welcome change.
Great Video production ❤
There's a horrible bug on Android 13 right now, and pixel phones in particular where high pitched voices seem to filter out. You can google it and see the complaints on the pixel issue tracker and reddit as far as 5 months back. people with high pitched voices (like some women/children) get filtered out by the software processing of the mic. This happens to me and my gf and it makes her phone a 600 dollar brick. :I
Is this why my pixel watch ignores my girlfriend using voice assistant?
@@sigmachad96 if her voice is higher pitched, it might be
Sounds like heaven to me..
Bought my gf the Pixel 7 for Christmas, she said she really likes it, I got it for $530 after taxes
Got this phone for my mom in almost new condition for 200 euro, very happy with the purchase.
I have an 6A, currently saving for the Pixel 8.
I know the title is catchy and will get views but people are saying long term is 4 months to a year. Crazy.
Great video! Where can i get the wallpaper from the iphone 14 pro plz?
This video was very helpful. Thank you
So i have had the pixel 7 pro for a couple months now, and upgraded from a Samsung note8 yeah it was time to make that upgrade!
My Motorola looks superb on paper, real life experience, lacks a lot on software support , still running android 13....
i dont know wether to go with the edge 40 or pixel 7 , had a s10 for a few years after giving up on my iphone 7
I went to Vegas with the pro 7 and let me tell you the pictures came out amazing surprisingly even at night time
Excelente vídeo. Y concepto de uso sin solo decir afuera de la caja
Wonderful video bro!
I've had the pixel 7 for nearly two months. It's mostly great, except for the battery life. It's really poor. General performance is spotty at times but mostly ok. Overall it's a phone you buy for the software and maybe the camera nothing else.
What was the battery and charging time like? As I'm trying to decide to buy it or not
@@caw_caw_ idle drain is really high and just the battery life isn't good enough for me to last a full day of usage
@@farhadgaming2522 idle drain was something I was concerned about and I heard the charging can take 1hour40? Thanks appreciate it
Yep it does drain fast while idle
