  • The Chairman of the Iowa Republican Party, Jeff Kaufmann, says the party is prepared to not only defend its supermajority in Iowa, but also add to it in the coming elections. In an in-depth interview, Kaufmann shared his thoughts on Republican moves on education, tax reform, and former President Trump's conviction in New York.

    Nick thank you for conducting this interview. I always wondered how Iowa turned from a balanced state to one dominated by the Republicans. It's interesting how Mr. Kaufmann gets so upset with the Democrats for losing the first in the nation status. Things have evolved, Iowa had its time in the spotlight, now other states will have a chance to influence.
    Thank you for asking firm questions to Mr. Kaufmann and pushing back when his statements warranted challenging.
