  • I am painting the World Watercolor Month daily prompts and I decided to record this one and share it. This is a Mourning Dove feather that was left for me from my little birdie friends a few days ago. I knew this prompt was coming up so I tucked it away for later. I think it turned out great!
Additional Note: I’m just talking out my steps in case someone wants to hear my thought process. Not all of my steps are correct and that’s ok. I either learn from the things I do incorrectly and either fix my technique or keep doing it over and over and never learn from it.
I’m learning this UA-cam video thing so bear with me as I get used to it!
Find me on social media and follow along as I continue along with this art journey of mine. On my blog, I also mix in a some DIY home projects, a little gardening, some exploring around Maine, and random thoughts and musings from an Artsy Introvert’s mind.

**Mimik watercolor brush from Jerry’s Artarama, size 8 round
**A handmade sketchbook made by Lake Michigan Book Press using Arches cold press watercolor paper. (As I write this, it looks like the website and etsy shop have not been taking orders since February. Maybe it’ll open back up soon.)
