i cried onto the keys while playing this in japan, after losing my first and only close friend because i didn't understand what i was doing wrong
i've been crying for six months and i don't know what to do
i don't deserve to feel so awful for so long. can anyone help me?
dang.. it’s just better to know that friends come and go. think about your friends early on in your childhood. when you guys slowly parted, you probably never expected to make any other friends like them again. the same goes for this situation. you’ll find other friends, maybe even better than this past friendship. don’t let this hurt you, there’s many other people out there. :)

@@YottaVR I feel you brother, sadly you'll always have a hint of pain in your heart when such events occur, I've lost 3 years ago my girlfriend to a misunderstanding and I can say that not a single day passes without thinking about her.
I'm also 21 and it do be like that, sometimes we make errors because we're humans and not machines, it's all part of the human experience.
But my brother, I can tell you that you can turn your unfortunate event into luck if you let your heart heal, you can't change the past, you can't change the mistakes you've committed which led to you losing your dear friend. But you can change the future, make this knowledge a gift, learn from your mistakes and keep them always in the side of your mind close to your pain in order to become a better person each day.

No one does man. But that’s just the thing right? How are we blessed with such beautiful things like this music you’ve played for us here from C418? And yet some of us do the things we do that are maybe just frowned upon and some do things that are absolutely horrendous (…) and then.. some do amazing things that help so many and make so much of us smile. It’s truly an interesting thing: life? Isn’t it? I personally am Catholic (strong in my beliefs) but am not going to make this any sort of a homily. But I do realize that regardless of any beliefs, religious or non, most of us with heart understand that no matter what… even after suffering; we have perseverance and determination to live our lives best we possibly can, and help others to do the same. i really like when pianos are different then the normal hertz, thats why golden hour is a good piece because its in different hertz

The rhythm, smoothly slowing down at the end, the dynamics, as well as the slightly out-of-tune piano giving it a special, distant sound, as if playing on the edge of memory... I haven’t seen any of this in other videos. In my opinion, this is the best piano performance of this track.

The best part is it's accurate. None of the original Minecraft soundtrack is in tune. C418 published this song (like this piano) slightly flat.
ive grown pretty desensitized to minecraft nostalgia (basically meaning i dont get tears in my eyes as much anymore when hearing or seeing old minecraft stuff), but this? it made me feel that again. i dont know why but something about this song on an out of tune piano is just beautiful and perfect. thank you.

I couldn't tell from the name BUT THE FIRST NOTE INSTANTLY HITS ME IN THE FEELS
The sounds of a piano that’s lost it’s tune, and yet is enjoyed by almost everyone truly brings me joy. Knowing that humans are capable of loving something simple for it being unique. And there’s a sad irony that the only way for a piano to naturally become out of tune is for it to have been neglected, for it to be forgotten and unloved for so long that it has fallen out of tune. Then one day someone sees it, and decides they want to play it, they do not mind that this poor old piano may not sound as crisp as a new and recently tuned one, they still choose to play. Such a beautiful sentiment to remember

It being out of tune gives it the feeling of a distant memory, slightly weighed down by time and everything else accompanying the memory. Almost like a last waltz with your nostalgia of a time nearly faded from memory
I work in music full time. My job is to iron out details. I love my job. It's my dream job. But it helps so much to hear beautiful playing on an old piano like this. An old, well played, out of tune piano has spirit and soul and meaning, especially when played like this. Thank you.

growing up i had to play on an old piano that was always out of tune those kind of videos make me so nostalgic
I played claire de lune on a piano even more broken than this one, and it was so… oddly peaceful.
Playing such a calm tune in a dark, empty classroom, reminded me of my childhood, and how wonderful it is to be this age and be at this place with all my memories.
The sound of such an old piano with such a broad past playing one of the last songs it will ever play, felt so sad, but so happy.
Thank you world, for letting me learn a simple song, and to be able to make art and do as i can. Thank you for life.

There's a hint of breathlessness associated with the sheer familiarity of this piece. The way I feel about minecraft music is encouraged to feel even more so like this piano; aged and once-was with memories that aren't mine to be made, atleast not anymore, but it's still living to be played by the next generation.

as i waited for my app to load, i sat against my closet door with a small pillow behind my back. i imagined the light above me as delicate rays of sun, shining into my father's old car, illuminating the seat in front of me with a nice tinted glow. i imagined the pillow as my old car seat as i closed my eyes and rested my head against the cold door, which now felt warm and familiar. i could see the old buildings we passed by everyday once again. as i opened my eyes, i realized how much i missed those days; and how far they were now.
No idea why, but as soon as you started playing I got actual goosebumps... Wow
it reminds me of being like 8 and watching stampy cat and my biggest worry was what song i wanted to be sung to goodnight for bedtime. I miss that joy, i know its only tinted for nostalgia and im well aware of the issues i had back then but my pain does not diminish still. Minectaft has always been home to me, through thick and thin.
This is reminding me of a world filled with more color than it has now. Thank you.

You remember where your house was and finally you found it, your house was infested with cobwebs but your Minecraft dog was still sitting and is still your house dog. You randomly have a flashback where it was your first time building your Minecraft house, first time having a Minecraft dog and you go to the mine where you mined some things when you were younger. and you look at your Minecraft friends, you have another flashback to where you have your first friends in Minecraft you would always play with them everyday and the flashback ends and you start crying in tears and after that you find your old piano standing there next to the friend picture when you and your friends first met and you decided to play Subwoofer Lullaby in your old piano. Its out of tune but you remember the whole thing and started playing the old piano.
**Remember. its not always about having everything kids want, Its how you cherish your last memories with your friends before they change. Friends are the best memories to have when your alone, friends are your puzzle pieces. You and your Friends are always the best piece to be fit together, Parents are our best people too. They raised us to be successful in life and are our emotional support.**

Honestly for a lot of music like this, I like the sound of an out-of-tune piano so much more than a tuned one. It just feels… more natural… more like home. Like when your grandparents just have a random piano, among other antiques, and you decide to fool around on it.

every time i hear this song. i think of simpler times, times before COVID. before having a job, were it was OK to look like Justin Beiber. back to a time, in that weird early 2010s era. with thew music back then and the things that were normal and the fashion too. Not only does it bring me back to that time, but i can almost feel it, smell it in a weird nostalgic way. This song makes me feel old and young at the same time. It makes me long for something that is long gone. That 2010-2016 era that i will never be able to re live again. brings me so much joy and nostalgia.
