Thank YOU for making such great products!
Loud pipes saves lives...
New Eurosmith video hype
You got that bell on??
I sure do now lol
Stock is always best imo, that or stainless. I replaced a stock exhaust on mine a long time ago for a GT style and it was a joke, rusted to nothing in months. Got a nice stainless Autocavan exhaust to go on now which is very similar to stock and has the stock exit locations also. Hopefully yours is better than the one I experienced.
Vintage speed also makes some great stainless products!
@@mobilemotorsport I've heard and seen bad things about their quality so went with an old school stainless. There's a bunch of people out there if you look hard enough and have the money that can make a good quality system.
what brand was your gt style? Many of those need to be repaint with Ceramic Coating these days. Ive got a Single glass pack 1 1/2 that was on my Baja since 2010 and his still in good condition
@xfontix39 couldn't say, was a long time ago now. I've since fitted a fully stainless bespoke exhaust. So don't have to worry about it again.
Awesome! Will you be running J Tubes? Is so what size of Jtubes will you be using?
No J-Tubes, I wanted to keep the heater since I'm located in Washington.
Sounds great! Time for some new rear trans mounts though?
Very Much Needed! That engine used to shake like a Chihuahua in the Arctic!
@@mobilemotorsport hahaha, yeah looked to be shaking pretty good in that video
Man, it's half past midnight, and im trying to install the same header you have with the tin installed. Is it really just a matter of fanagling it? It feels so close and yet so far. I have a dual muffler with the large 3 bolt flange I got on Craigslist for $100. I have a single glasspack "hotdog" exhaust on the way from Australia, and I dont want this to all go to waste because I can't get this manifold on lol. Any insight?
I took out the rear most tin when i put that in
@mobilemotorsport Thank you for the reply, I got it figured out. I just removed the J tubes. Plenty of room after that.
Viva el vocho
Did you keep the heater boxes?
ive got the original exhaust up on a shelf now
What distributor is this
Magnaspark 2 bu cb performance, I have a whole video on it and the link to buy is in the description
Really, it's best to strip these to bare metal before doing anything. That paint really is just discount rattlecan black for shipping purposes only. I use a chemical stripper, once dry blowtorch, finally acetone. Once bare, hit it with some barbecue/oven stuff. Without this, rust is inevitable, assured, and guaranteed.
This exhaust was $100
Sadly I paid double that for Empi's single glasspack and those exact same headers.
