- I want to get more practice with the game, so I've decided to commit to running this quest at least once every other day.
So I've kinda been able to figure out how to cut down a significant amount of time on Nerg with the new opener letting me get a knockdown at the very start, letting me get an almost 8 min time for Luna+Nerg which is why I skipped waiting to eat since that would leave me out of position for Safi. I however fumbled the second dunk on Safi phase 1 which would have given me a lot of free damage going into phase 2, and phase 2 itself was very messy with me missing my input for flash pods. Phase 3 was a lot better than usual, but the earlier fumbles still led to a significant time loss making that segment end at around average time. I also played rather poorly against the Alatreons today, but I'm feeling good about future runs.

Nah, just practice your combos and dodges. Maybe like an hour a day and you'll be fine
I’m kinda new to MH but why do you clutch claw onto the monster then jump off right away? Wouldn’t it be better to soften or dps or get slinger at the least?
clutching on when the mon claggers extends the animation. It's better to jump off and go for straight damage than tenderizing an already tenderized part.

I really want to learn Dual Blades. Any tips that will help fast track me into getting good with them? Especially beyond just the common stuff you can find just about anywhere? I'd appreciate it ^^
Aside from general tips of stamina management or moveset, I'd recommend watching speedrunners play with the weapon. Watch how they respond to how the monster moves, where they position and what moves they choose in specific scenarios. Aside from personally just labbing strategies and practicing ingame observing players better than me helps a lot in my own improvement and understanding of my weapon.

Frostcraft from the Velkhana gear. Increases damage dealt and recharges while sheathed.
just do the spin attack to move yourcharacter.. you can endlessly do this even when out of stamina in demon mode. or did they patch this?
I already do this when closing gaps. You do NOT want to be spamming this with stamina gone. No stamina means no Blade Dance which is a DPS loss and no evading which means no s or positioning adjustments in response to monster's moves. It also doesn't deal enough damage to justify spamming it over just making smart use of it as a gap closer with a little bit of extra damage while moving into next position
Looking forward for you to do Safii, Ala et Fata in one quest ( just joking I don't think its possible ). Anyway good video, god level gameplay you gave me motivation to get good.

@azzygl well I'll be,that is quite the surprise,thought that it would be one of the 3 black dragons each with guaranteed kill attacks, may I ask why she is the worst?
Luna's gimmicks are extremely annoying forcing me to slot in things like windproof for attack uptime, but also making me lose slots for other things, and you can very easily die to her since she can do so much damage when enraged especially if you get comboed by fire puddles while you have rocksteady on. She also has terrible hitzones. For example, if you want to topple Luna you either get the head break (which only happens when she's at low hp) or hit her legs a bunch (which are at a garbage 25/15 raw/elem hzv). Safi isn't painful damage wise and a lot of attacks are very easy to avoid. The most annoying part about him is chasing his backleg (easiest to break, safi has a mechanic where he receives 30% less damage from attacks on parts not broken) or when he spams certain annoying attacks (smashing limb into the ground causing delayed explosions + healing tenderize). Alatreon is very generous moveset wise with all of its moves having decent to long windups making it very easy to go back and forth with him, and a lot of moves have huge endlag leading to big punish opportunities. It also has very good raw hitzones.
The bright side is that Lunastra has the least HP among the roster, but is also the monster I reset on the most. Once I'm past Safi phase 1 it's generally smooth sailing from there
