Actually you can get second perk option in 4th column even when you get the weapon from other sources than focused engrams, like, say, if you get a Gnawing Hunger or Night Watch from the Reckoning, they will have 2 last perks, same when you get every weapon from focused engrams from their original source
Sidearms are the best replacement for a special weapon. I often run one just cause they're fun and it helps special ammo starve the shot gunners and snipers.
@@BoneDryEye hey do survival where one team is rocking double primaries and then the other team doesn't get shit loads of special ammo. It's actually pretty nice and I think a rather decent strategy. Normally I rock a shotgun but if I notice a few players only using their shot guns or snipers and not touching their primary I'll swap to an auto and sidearm just to starve them of ammo as much as I can. PVP is more fun when the everyone isn't just revokering everyone else.
I’m on console, and I have two different lonesome rolls. Both have full bore and ricochet rounds. One of them has full auto and multi kill clip, while the other one has rapid hit and kill clip. Two god rolls. I use the full auto one, but I keep the other one in case I want to use a normal style side arm.
Full-auto changed my opinion of sidearms completely. I notice the consistency helps in my recoil control as well so much i don't have to invest in stability as much. I may actually grind a few of these now.
Don't think it was mentioned in the video but the curated in reckoning drops updated from tier 2, overflow and swash when paired with a sniper or telesto (or in your case grenade launchers) is fun

I had this God roll , full auto, kill clip, ricochet rounds , hammer forged rifling, range mw since years, but recently i've master worked it and yeah, it's amazing . Also breachlight is really strong
I have this exact roll (kc and mkc in the last spot) and can confirm it puts in work. I run it with Le Monarque and it’s great for clean up kills, then using kc to melt anyone near me. Full auto also makes shooting shot gunners while backpedaling super easy.
I play Xbox main, and finally got full auto, ricochet rounds and KC with range MW... Absolutely shreds. Thanks for making this, really helped me out, also I paired mine with jotuun lol
Got a full auto trigger lonesome on the first day of the season. Up to this point it's the only weapon along with my god roll gnawing hunger that has remained in my loadout since their acquisition. My personal god roll for the lonesome has stability as it's primary priority with range as the secondary. In PvE that stat combo makes it easier to abuse one of the peculiarities of the full auto trigger system. It's going to be interesting to see how well it carries over to PvP.
I ran with a Fluted/Smallbore, Ricochet Rounds/Armor Piercing, Graverobber, Swashbuckler, Stability MW for a long time in Opulence and beyond, really great for pve
BTW it doesn't matter where you get Recaster weapons from (engrams, level up packages or world drops) they will always have 2 final column perks if you have Umbral Enhancement 3.
I have a Full Bore, AP rounds, Full Auto, Kill Clip Lonesome, it's half of my sidearm build, paired the two together with a surprise attack build and it rocks!
I've been using this with full auto and it stomps in Crucible. It's my main primary there now. Been running it with stasis hunter and gamblers dodge with the new phase shift exotic. I shift right past a guardian, then throw a knife, they're frozen and dead.
In my opinion the only downside the Lonesome has that would prevent me from using it as often is that it's shots don't usually register as fast as I think they should, maybe that's just the range it has but even with a Lonesome with max range it still does that. The gun feels amazing though I have Full Bore, Ricochet Rounds, Rapid Hit and a choice between Opening Shot or Multi Kill Clip so I'm for sure gonna use it and love it already that's just a complaint I had. Great video I appreciate others opinions on what rolls to go for on weapons :)

Joseph Ferraro Lol I continuously and vehemently shame anyone who thinks they are good at Crucible but hasn’t mastered Fighting Lion. So far no one has a counter. My 6 year old cousin can shotgun, snipe and fusion rifle better than most out there... not impressed and I took part in the invention of the headshot. You all were in diapers when that happened lol. FL is for true warriors, and you only master it if you are supremely bold and or/ extremely bored with meta crutches, already have plenty of kill trophies, and want a new challenge to appease you god-like skills and abilities. Prove me wrong
@@larrybyrd5634 I genuinely think it's one of the best weapons in the game. Great add clear in PvE (and even light DPS work with reload mods), and one of the highest and most rewarding skill ceiling pairings in PvP. I will say that until I got the masterwork for it, I didn't respect it or use it very much, but after that dropped, and I really got good at angle shots and knowing when to release properly, everything came together. It's kind of bonkers with charged with light too. Looking forward to all the new builds possible with it, and TBH continuing to learn how to get better with it.

And then the charge with light builds in PVE this season is nuts and even when the first charge with Light mods came out I had a nasty tripe grenade launcher build that I actually might dust off now that you mention it😉 DFP just released a great PVP load out with Swashbuckler Dire Promise and Fighting Lion on bottom tree striker that looks very fun and I have his exact Dire Promise so I will he looking forward to more FL in the future! I got a fluted barrel/range barrel, ricochet, full auto, swash/opening with a stability masterwork and I gotta say I really can't feel the difference in range but I do fell the extra stability and handling from fluted. Anyway, this thing is nasty.
I got a lonesome with corkscrew, ricochet rounds, graverobber and swashbuckler (and a range masterwork). It’s a god in pve when paired with bottom tree arc Titan and skullfort
I’ve used a few and I’ve got to say zen moment is really good on this. I play on PC so stability isn’t too much of an issue, but I find that because lonesome fires so fast and outputs quite a bit of damage, once you start damaging someone the gun just turns into a laser and it’s much more easier to focus on your target.
if you want to mine some salt, pair it with hardlight and watch people rage quit. lone some to push, counter the push, leave them a sliver of health and bounce the hard light.
@falloutplays I get the extra perk on fourth column Lonesomes from any type of engram drop. Same for Gnawing Hunger, Nightwatch, and other Prismatic Caster exclusives.
Would have been nice to see a damage comparison (optimal and body ttk) for KC vs MKC. I mean if KC doesn’t change either ttk over MKC then it’s only good against supers and MKC is more user friendly as you don’t have to wait on timer. Would have also been nice to see damage falloff ranges to see how much range actually matters.
Hamerforged, ricochet, rapid hit, killclip, range master work dropped for me today at the recaster. It’s the Little Light Godroll but honestly my other similar roll but with full auto, opening shot, and handling masterwork feels more copacetic imo, I’m pairing it with my disruption break truth teller btw.
Seriously I was just waiting for this content! :) I’m runnin my lonesome since weeks and it feels so nasty. My roll is Fullbore, high caliber rounds, fullauto, killclip and a stability mw. Great performance on ps4 at all.
Good clip, my Lonesome is similar except that I have Flared Magwell as the reload isn't great. Can you look into Nature of The Beast is it or isn't it good now? that is the question.
NoTB is actually pretty average for it's archetype but damn is it's the Precision archetype that's in a bad place to be honest. - 1.00 sec Optimal TTK (though somewhat forgiving at 3 crit 1 body) in .7 OTTK meta - piss poor handling, reload and magazine size - pretty much rely on damage perks to to be good - range nerf on all HC hit these guys while they were already down 180 RPM HC's are (like Datto put) "sawed off scout riffles" and are just as good as that would imply.
I abuse faces with full auto MKC lonesome. APR, Range masterwork... max out range for surprising kills at handcannon range. Fall out is correct and I been knowing that since early last season when I used this exclusively for nightfalls and eventually(because range is at 82) Crucible. Nobody knows what to do when getting pelted at range. The fullauto sound alone rattles opponents I’ve noticed especially when they feel just how hard their energy bar is getting hit. Also, hate to nitpick but Fallout glossed over the essential part of Armor Piercing Rounds! The do EXTRA damage to opposing player shields. I haven’t done testing on the exact amount more of shield damage it does but I have always trusted it and I swear, it rattles the eff out of opponents in real time battle because THEY are aware of how hard they are getting hit and when that shield pops earlier than you’ve ever experienced it almost always has the psychological effect of causing them to miss at least 1-2 crucial headshots on you with their sparerations and more often than not they stop hitting you all together and just submit to the superior weapon they never knew about.

I’m a Warlock running top tree Dawn using Arsenic Bite and Lonesome. Sure it’s not meta but killing people with a Lonesome while they’re using SUROS is nasty. My Lonesome has Full Auto, Slideshot, and a handling masterwork.
I love this sidearm have for a long long long time. I have one with smallbore, high cal, full auto and multikill clip with a range masterwork and it eats guardians alive.
Gamer Prodigy10 ooo been using that exact one except I have APR which was THE perfect Nightfall anti barrier champion roll for last season. Put over 8000 Pve kills on it farming legend/master nightfalls before I started brutalizing with it in Crucible. Now I have 15 more rolls in my vault after selecting only the best out of a lot more, and they are each glorious to behold and I know some need to be deleted but ... not yet. I just finally got the very Last roll/s that eluded me, in one, full auto swash. Comes with the demolitionist option ricochet rounds/light mag with arrowhead break/steady rounds. Range master worked at 76, 66 stability. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect lonesome.
For the players who just care about pure stability, should they go for zen moment or rapid hit? I'm unsure how viable the stability for rapid hit is after the nerf, which is all I ever used it for.

David M. For optimal ttk you must hit all crits which is hard to do but if you three burst someone you only have to hit a few crits in the three bursts and you maintain a .8 ttk
David M. I can push it out between 20-25 meters with my roll. I have tactic sas, armor piercing rounds, rangefinder and range masterwork. I also have tap the trigger for extra aim assist too.
My roll is Full Bore, HC-Rounds, Zen Moment, Kill Clip, Range Materwork. 89 Range! I really like it, but at the end of the day, i have to say: Enigma´s Draw > Lonesome all the day! For me, there is simply no other Sidearm, that feels as good and consistent, then Enigma´s Draw.
Don’t quit. Lonesome wouldn’t quit on you... once you figure her out the damage you deal will astound you the guardians you shoot with it. Use it in PVe until you’ve mastered kick, recoil, feel and then bring it to Crucible. Thank me later and refer to earlier posts in this thread for more detailed explanations of why I know this weapons legit
The biggest weakness to a bow is its "Draw time" You can two-shot people with bows, but the time it takes to draw the second arrow, you're gonna lose. There are two ways to play with bows. Peak and shoot: Playing at long range, peak out from behind cover, fire, then dip back in to draw the second arrow, peak out and fire again. Rinse and repeat. The second (and my personal best way) is to put the mod "quick access sling" on your bow. Unfortunately you cannot use exotic bows this way but there is a fix for that later. Quick access sling lets you immediately swap weapons when your mag is empty, good news for a bow, one shot and the mag is empty. Best thing to do, fire off the bow, then immediately switch to another weapon and finish them off. If you have a 160 or slower Hand Cannon, it will be a 1 shot to the head. Bow shot - immediate switch, HC shot, instant dead. My personal favorite PvP bow is the "Lemon (Le Monarque)". The poison gives you a basic wall hack as your can see the tick damage if they run away. Unfortunately you cannot put mods upon the exotic. But: If you play Hunter and use Hand Cannon's, you can use "Lucky Pants" to give you quick access sling on your bow. That way you can use Lemon and a good HC and get off a great 2 - tap. . Hope this helped
@@xbox2635 Just remember, If you're playing Trials or a small team PvP. Bows are very helpful as "Clean up" or "Extremely weaken". Stick with a teammate always. If you've ever noticed how much damage a good bow shot does, it will be extremely easy for your teammates to finish the person off. If your teammates are not close by, then make use to the quick access sling. My recommendations for best bows: Le Monarque (exotic secondary) The poison ticks and built in snap shot, make this bow the best of the best. My rank A Trinity ghoul (exotic secondary) (only with completed masterwork and arc subclass) The new masterwork upgrade makes this bow a top contender with its ability to easily spread arc damage. My rank B Accured redemption (GoS legendary primary) If you can get this bow with the two perks Rapid hit + Archers Tempo You will have one of the fastest bows out there. My rank A Whispering slab (prismatic legendary primary) This is one of the only bows that can drop with "opening shot". On a bow opening shot will proc with every shot. Try and find a way to focus on faster draw time. It's set-back, as a quick fire, it has less impact. My rank B Point of the stag (iron Banner legendary secondary) The best bow to use against supers with its archers tempo and Vorpal. My rank A Hush (Gambit legendary secondary) If your decent on hip firing, I'd recommend this bow. It's the fastest bow out there. My rank B (A if you're a good hip fire'er) Vow (Valentine's Legendary secondary) It's just a basic, high impact, high firing bow. My rank B . And remember bud, these are just my recommendations. Destiny can be played however you like. So my best advice, just find a bow that you like using, find one that works nicely in your hands, and go from there.

The recoil animation of sidearms (not the actual recoil) throws me off so much that I can't use them in ADS. The only exception being the Traveler's Judgement for some reason.

I personally got junk barrels (flute and chamber) but I got Ricochet, Full Auto, and Opening/Kill Clip. I am loving it!

I got a lonesome with hammer forged high cal, zen moment, kill clip with a stability masterwork and that thing does work in pvp
I have two Lonesomes on my Hunter. One has Full Auto Multikill, the other is Rapid Kill Clip. Both are pretty nice.
I got a fluted barrel/range barrel, ricochet, full auto, swash/opening with a stability masterwork and I gotta say I really can't feel the difference in range but I do fell the extra stability and handling from fluted. Anyway, this thing is nasty.

I got a lonesome with corkscrew, ricochet rounds, graverobber and swashbuckler (and a range masterwork). It’s a god in pve when paired with bottom tree arc Titan and skullfort
I’ve used a few and I’ve got to say zen moment is really good on this. I play on PC so stability isn’t too much of an issue, but I find that because lonesome fires so fast and outputs quite a bit of damage, once you start damaging someone the gun just turns into a laser and it’s much more easier to focus on your target.
I had seven of them in my vault last night... was able to cut them down to four.
if you want to mine some salt, pair it with hardlight and watch people rage quit.

@falloutplays I get the extra perk on fourth column Lonesomes from any type of engram drop. Same for Gnawing Hunger, Nightwatch, and other Prismatic Caster exclusives.
I don’t know which role to go for, I use sidearms just for PvE. 1. Rapid Hit and Multikill Clip 2. Zen Moment and Kill Clip. Which one?

Would have been nice to see a damage comparison (optimal and body ttk) for KC vs MKC. I mean if KC doesn’t change either ttk over MKC then it’s only good against supers and MKC is more user friendly as you don’t have to wait on timer. Would have also been nice to see damage falloff ranges to see how much range actually matters.
The lonesome has saved my ass numerous times in pve and pvp.
Hamerforged, ricochet, rapid hit, killclip, range master work dropped for me today at the recaster. It’s the Little Light Godroll but honestly my other similar roll but with full auto, opening shot, and handling masterwork feels more copacetic imo, I’m pairing it with my disruption break truth teller btw.

When you do kits, I would like to see le monarch (however you spell it) and lonesome. I used them together yesterday and it felt solid.
Good clip, my Lonesome is similar except that I have Flared Magwell as the reload isn't great. Can you look into Nature of The Beast is it or isn't it good now? that is the question.
NoTB is actually pretty average for it's archetype but damn is it's the Precision archetype that's in a bad place to be honest.
- 1.00 sec Optimal TTK (though somewhat forgiving at 3 crit 1 body) in .7 OTTK meta
- piss poor handling, reload and magazine size
- pretty much rely on damage perks to to be good
- range nerf on all HC hit these guys while they were already down
180 RPM HC's are (like Datto put) "sawed off scout riffles" and are just as good as that would imply.
*slowly pans over to dim where I see richochet, full bore, rapid hit, kill clip...

I used an opening shot Lonesome with a Hush, basically, two headshots was the jam.
I abuse faces with full auto MKC lonesome. APR, Range masterwork... max out range for surprising kills at handcannon range. Fall out is correct and I been knowing that since early last season when I used this exclusively for nightfalls and eventually(because range is at 82) Crucible. Nobody knows what to do when getting pelted at range. The fullauto sound alone rattles opponents I’ve noticed especially when they feel just how hard their energy bar is getting hit. Also, hate to nitpick but Fallout glossed over the essential part of Armor Piercing Rounds! The do EXTRA damage to opposing player shields. I haven’t done testing on the exact amount more of shield damage it does but I have always trusted it and I swear, it rattles the eff out of opponents in real time battle because THEY are aware of how hard they are getting hit and when that shield pops earlier than you’ve ever experienced it almost always has the psychological effect of causing them to miss at least 1-2 crucial headshots on you with their sparerations and more often than not they stop hitting you all together and just submit to the superior weapon they never knew about.

I’m a Warlock running top tree Dawn using Arsenic Bite and Lonesome. Sure it’s not meta but killing people with a Lonesome while they’re using SUROS is nasty. My Lonesome has Full Auto, Slideshot, and a handling masterwork.
I love this sidearm have for a long long long time. I have one with smallbore, high cal, full auto and multikill clip with a range masterwork and it eats guardians alive.
Gamer Prodigy10 ooo been using that exact one except I have APR which was THE perfect Nightfall anti barrier champion roll for last season. Put over 8000 Pve kills on it farming legend/master nightfalls before I started brutalizing with it in Crucible. Now I have 15 more rolls in my vault after selecting only the best out of a lot more, and they are each glorious to behold and I know some need to be deleted but ... not yet. I just finally got the very Last roll/s that eluded me, in one, full auto swash. Comes with the demolitionist option ricochet rounds/light mag with arrowhead break/steady rounds. Range master worked at 76, 66 stability. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect lonesome.
For the players who just care about pure stability, should they go for zen moment or rapid hit? I'm unsure how viable the stability for rapid hit is after the nerf, which is all I ever used it for.

You mentioned the Baroque Drang, since its paired to Sturm, shouldn't its level cap get raised from 1060 to something higher?
You can’t make me give up my last hope god roll. Lonesome is great but last Hope is king of side arms in my opinion
They are good but are dependent on Crits. Non three burst side arms are a little more body shot forgiving.
David M. For optimal ttk you must hit all crits which is hard to do but if you three burst someone you only have to hit a few crits in the three bursts and you maintain a .8 ttk

David M. I can push it out between 20-25 meters with my roll. I have tactic sas, armor piercing rounds, rangefinder and range masterwork. I also have tap the trigger for extra aim assist too.

I really like it, but at the end of the day, i have to say: Enigma´s Draw > Lonesome all the day!
For me, there is simply no other Sidearm, that feels as good and consistent, then Enigma´s Draw.
I already have so many good rolls on this thing.
I am curious of "Lonesome" vs "Enigma's Draw".
I like them both and they have similar rolls and stats.
AwfulWarlock I prefer Enigmas Draw for PvE better. Feels better there.
I dont get many sidearms, but when jebroni-fallout brings on the god roll videos I do.

Don’t quit. Lonesome wouldn’t quit on you... once you figure her out the damage you deal will astound you the guardians you shoot with it. Use it in PVe until you’ve mastered kick, recoil, feel and then bring it to Crucible. Thank me later and refer to earlier posts in this thread for more detailed explanations of why I know this weapons legit

The biggest weakness to a bow is its "Draw time"
You can two-shot people with bows, but the time it takes to draw the second arrow, you're gonna lose.
There are two ways to play with bows.
Peak and shoot:
Playing at long range, peak out from behind cover, fire, then dip back in to draw the second arrow, peak out and fire again. Rinse and repeat.
The second (and my personal best way) is to put the mod "quick access sling" on your bow.
Unfortunately you cannot use exotic bows this way but there is a fix for that later.
Quick access sling lets you immediately swap weapons when your mag is empty, good news for a bow, one shot and the mag is empty.
Best thing to do, fire off the bow, then immediately switch to another weapon and finish them off.
If you have a 160 or slower Hand Cannon, it will be a 1 shot to the head.
Bow shot - immediate switch, HC shot, instant dead.
My personal favorite PvP bow is the "Lemon (Le Monarque)".
The poison gives you a basic wall hack as your can see the tick damage if they run away. Unfortunately you cannot put mods upon the exotic.
But:
If you play Hunter and use Hand Cannon's, you can use "Lucky Pants" to give you quick access sling on your bow. That way you can use Lemon and a good HC and get off a great 2 - tap.

Just remember,
If you're playing Trials or a small team PvP.
Bows are very helpful as "Clean up" or "Extremely weaken".
Stick with a teammate always.
If you've ever noticed how much damage a good bow shot does, it will be extremely easy for your teammates to finish the person off.
If your teammates are not close by, then make use to the quick access sling.
My recommendations for best bows:
Le Monarque (exotic secondary)
The poison ticks and built in snap shot, make this bow the best of the best.

(only with completed masterwork and arc subclass)
The new masterwork upgrade makes this bow a top contender with its ability to easily spread arc damage.

Accured redemption (GoS legendary primary)
If you can get this bow with the two perks
Rapid hit + Archers Tempo
You will have one of the fastest bows out there.

Whispering slab (prismatic legendary primary)
This is one of the only bows that can drop with "opening shot".
On a bow opening shot will proc with every shot. Try and find a way to focus on faster draw time.
It's set-back, as a quick fire, it has less impact.

Point of the stag (iron Banner legendary secondary)
The best bow to use against supers with its archers tempo and Vorpal.

Hush (Gambit legendary secondary)
If your decent on hip firing, I'd recommend this bow. It's the fastest bow out there.

It's just a basic, high impact, high firing bow.

Destiny can be played however you like. So my best advice, just find a bow that you like using, find one that works nicely in your hands, and go from there.

Just remember Le Monarque you'll need lucky pants for the quick sling. So they only work with HC on hunters.
If you want to quick swap to a shotgun or sidearm, you'll need a legendary with quick access mod

The recoil animation of sidearms (not the actual recoil) throws me off so much that I can't use them in ADS. The only exception being the Traveler's Judgement for some reason.
