    AS FAR AS company website goes, it does NOT EXIST. Looks like a “Interface Update”. **// UPDATE NOT AVAILABLE //* looks like the manufacturer will need to send you a link. No update exist ANYWHERE that I could NOT FIND.

    Hi, my roadtop 8.8 refuses to auto-reconnect to my Car's bluetooth. I have to remove bluetooth from both, shut off the car and re-pair. Will this update fix that issue?

      Also experiencing the same issue with bluetooth in my Subaru outback 2016. Using Aux as a workaround for now, but would prefer to use bluetooth to leverage wheel controls. I have installed the latest update - 1.0.15.

    I just purchased it from Amazon US and looks like it's is the 2nd Generation according to the photos posted in the listing. I will find out later today as soon it gets delivered.

    Is it possible to add another CarPlay dongle to the USB port on the roadtop. I ask because some of those dongles allow you to have a UA-cam app and play videos. Otherwise this unit is PERFECT. Literally the only unit with dual BT chips, large screen, fast every single time, and most importantly all the wires are hidden on the back instead of the side like all the other units. My only wish is for regular updates for the unit and possibly have UA-cam on it.

    may I know where to download the latest firmware? my unit doesn't seem to be able to connect with my car bluetooth. phone has been connecting correctly before and all other has been disconnected.

      @@simplygomez yeh Im waiting for a response from them now. I sent them screenshots. It's frustrating because a keyboard appears when you try and factory reset so it seems like it just hasn't been coded in the Bluetooth connection screen.

    Just confirming that the Road Top 8.8 I got from Amazon US is in fact the Generation 2. Installation is done and I was able to select Lexus logo to match my Lexus CT200h. Just posted my review over Amazon US with 9 photos showing the new UI and new functions added. It may take a couple of days to post, though.

      @@RoadTop The only glitch I found so far is that the unit does not keep the Night Brightness selection. As soon you stop the car and the unit switch off, if you turn the car on again, the brightness setting goes back to Day time brightness setting. Would be great if in a new firmware update, you make this setting stored in a non volatile memory or better, set a function where you can set the time of the day you want the unit to switch to Night Brightness setting, like Focus or Sleep on iOS.

    Hi the auto brightness mode seems to reset every time I turn off the device. Is this fixed in the new update? Will I be able to have an automatic day mode and night mode based on time selected without resetting?

      @@NS2Las Hey Ive bought mine in 30th of May, but I don't know if this is second gen. Ive different gui so I believe is 1st. First at all I dont see any 2nd gen in sales. I guess isn't yet available. Updates on same way and looks exactly the same.

      @@NS2Las Can you also tell from which date is your software? On the system info you will see. On this video is different gui, seller told me that the new generation screen. They did not mention anything yet. I dont know what is the difference also.

    The reverse camera only worked for one day , the next day When I go into reverse, the road top was just a black screen, I tried 2 cameras and everything went black when I put the car in reverse. Can you please help me with this

    I purchased the 1st gen back in May 2022 before the 2nd gen came out. Are there better written instructions on how to screen mirror on Android 11? The bare bones instructions says download M-Link app but the app just keep on searching without actually connecting. Other than that, all the features work fine with the minor exception that the system sometimes freeze after 2 hours of driving, requiring you to reboot.

    I even purchased and certified the product from Sajarama Ali here, but it's a seller who insists that it's not their product. If you buy ROAD TOP products, you don't think it'll be AS. What kind of support do you give? It's a lie

    I just purchased this unit, software version 2022.08.23-1.0.10 ; CUST version QP203. There is no item to change the boot logo in the system settings. Is there a way to still do this ?

      You have to go to Settings -> Factory and use the Pin 2018.

    the product is not bad but the service is not worth to call it service. i wanted to have a dodge logo for my bootscreen as there lots of shit car companies but not dodge. first they say it is possible , I prepared a Dodge Logo in the Size they asked forand then 1000 questions and at the end no more answer. I had before in my other Car a Nifty City system that works well and service is not CRAP like here . Never again this Road Top Company
