@DangasTackleTips what did you upgrade to? I also recently had a massive upgrade of my beach spinning rig, dieing to take it out hopefully on the weekend
@DangasTackleTips went from a 9'2" 0.8-2.0PE N.S Blackhole Hurricane 2 lure weight 14-40g with a 4000 size Shimano symetre FT spooled with 15lb jbraid expedition which has been a great rig I've just upgraded to 10' 4-8kg daiwa seajigger lure weight 20-60g with a daiwa certate 5000d-xh spooled with PE2 Varvias 8 premium. Will be dragging it down to Dunsborough for the Salmon season next year and I'm pretty keen to throw some 5-6inch paddle tails and try the impossible and snag a mulloway
@lucassellwood yeah I think there are certain metals that cast longer with weight distribution better and also the paint/ colour stays on better. Also the real cheap ones from kmart ect have poor hook and split ring quality
@lucassellwood think the cheapest I've thrown is Halco Twistys, rings were fine but I upgraded to BKK Diablo single hooks. The CID metals are fantastic and I'm pretty sure they are the only metals in my shore spinning box at the moment.
