At the very first Fan Fest, Yoshi was on the floor doing the events they had set up. We saw him practicing actual live archery (Ixal were the targets). After he was done, he stood around and took photos and signed autographs. His "handlers" told him he had to go because they had to get back for the next panel and he apologized, took 3 or so more photos and headed off. As he was leaving, he saw a woman in a wheelchair absolutely light up just to see him. She was so excited to see Yoshi-P in person, you could tell it made her day. Yoshi stopped to talk to her and take a photo with her, even though his assistants had walked off towards the stage and had to come back to him. The man is the most humble after being treated like a rock star for the first time. We had issues with registration lines as well and Yoshi has talked about it in interviews (maybe the NoClip documentary) that they asked him to go out and say thanks for coming and apologize for the wait, thinking that would ease the fans in line a bit. Honestly, none of us were stressed. We know conventions. We were all just in line talking, chatting, or playing Final Fantasy Theathrythm on 3DS at the time. There was no loud complaining we could hear, but Yoshi comes out and never gets a chance to thank us or apologize. The entire crowd was cheering for him and chanting "Yo-shi-P, Yo-shi-P" over and over. I feel like he's one of the current era devs who still truly embodies Iwata's now legendary quote, "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer." Also, Scream is from the award winning and high praised expansion, Endwalker. Perhaps you've heard of it? =3 Specifically, it's from [REDACTED]

If y'all do go to KC I recommend eating at Habashi House at the City Market!! I used to live in KC and that was hands down some of my fave food. I knew the family and even did a little work for them on the side, and it was wild to see an elderly women hefting a giant pot of boiled chickpeas up to dump in the grinder to make the hummus. Oh yeah, all the pita bread is freshly made, like, that morning from the local bakeries, and the bags of it at the related tiny grocery beside HH are still a bit steamy when you get there early. Amazing, tasty Middle Eastern food.
Watching you two is some of the most wholesome, enjoyable content. Everything from the Wall of Dungeons to your livestreams, your theorycrafting, and now this. Thanks for being awesome, guys. GG. PS. Watching you two take the time to just talk with everyone that came to Player 1 was so wholesome. People were tired with queue after queue after queue, but they all lit up and the jovial ambiance never let up. Day 1 Meetup was worth the effort and sacrifice. Day 2 PRIMALS was just icing on the cake.

I might have been right before or right after you guys in that photo-op spot! I have a picture with YoshiP at the same location from Day 2 around the evening. It was a butterfly effect moment for me, too. My girlfriend and I were sitting down on the floor waiting for the Primals concert to start. We couldn't get any spots in chairs and I was bummed about it, so instead of just moping I decided to get up and stretch my legs, and that's when I stumbled on him the same way you did. If I had been sitting in a chair I would've had no reason to get up and risk losing it.
I may be only a video lurker that came for FFXIV originally, but I stayed fory ou two. And will keep watching even outside of said game. Glad you both had fun!

10/10 music choice! I was somewhat worried about spoilers, but I'm also a person who does not mind spoilers. For any story the journey is what matters and makes it special or unique. We all know Frodo delivers the ring, but it doesn't stop us from watching or reading LOTR again. The only media credentials I'm aware of were for some streamers from other countries (like Antoine Daniel) who were translating. I tuned into his stream a little on day 2 and he was not showing any of the live events so it seemed much more business-like for media than Blizzcon may be? As in they were given a task by SE and couldn't just do whatever they wanted as content creators.
I think it says a lot that even though a lot of the organizational issues affected me and my disabled air force vet dad that we still were able to have fun just because of the amazing dev team and community (even if members of the community were a problem they aren’t the majority and most had no idea what was going on)

I’ve been watching since mid stormblood and it has truly be a fun wholesome journey watching you to grow as players and people. So glad you guys had an awesome time. I tuned in for the 5 hour stream about the con, but I still got a little emotional hearing Garrett's thoughts on having this career. And it was totally awesome (and on brand) for Jesse to show up at the meet-up. I see a lot of similarities between your guys' relationship and my best friend that I see rarely, now that we live far apart and kids are part of the equation, so seeing your happy reunion makes me happy too. 10/10 music choice! I was somewhat worried about spoilers, but I'm also a person who does not mind spoilers. For any story the journey is what matters and makes it special or unique. We all know Frodo delivers the ring, but it doesn't stop us from watching or reading LOTR again.
The only media credentials I'm aware of were for some streamers from other countries (like Antoine Daniel) who were translating. I tuned into his stream a little on day 2 and he was not showing any of the live events so it seemed much more business-like for media than Blizzcon may be? As in they were given a task by SE and couldn't just do whatever they wanted as content creators.

I think it says a lot that even though a lot of the organizational issues affected me and my disabled air force vet dad that we still were able to have fun just because of the amazing dev team and community (even if members of the community were a problem they aren’t the majority and most had no idea what was going on)
