Why Kautilya would call Indian Machiavelli? Why not Machiavelli as western Kautilya? Whereas Arthashastra was written around 2&3 century. For instance, we say son inherit father's quality not father inherit son's quality. It is we Indian who doesn't acknowledge our own philosopher, cloaked by Western philosophy. Max Weber and many more thinkers explicitly argue that works of Machiavelli and Thucydides are already there in Kautilya's Arthashastra.
No surprise if it's revealed one day that major western thoughts are copied from eastern knowledge, Why the imperialism and western renaissance happened simultaneously? They went out and discovered other more knowledgeable civilizations, but these civilizations acquired knowledge on their own making them humble and tolerant, this is apparent in eastern DNA. West on the other hand just copied that and suddenly discovered 100s of Theories, how is it possible? This knowledge is not evolved over time and thats why they are arrogant and thinks they are superior. Knowledge makes one humble. Imperialist were money minded and self serving, they translated every Indian book left right centre because the knowledge was worth it. They took our knowledge projected it as their own and made Indians believe we are worthless, and we followed them
