Why is it a prevalent issue in our country that we tend to forget about our ancestors merely because their religious beliefs were different? It's disheartening to witness such division and lack of appreciation for our shared heritage. I believe it's essential to embrace our history and be proud of our ancestors, irrespective of their religious affiliations. Our collective past shapes who we are today, and understanding and respecting our diverse roots can only lead to a stronger, more compassionate society. Let's celebrate our cultural diversity and honor the contributions of all our ancestors, fostering unity and harmony for future generations to come.

It is not your country's fault. It is an Islamic requirement. Islam (actually, all abrahamic religions) uproot people from their own lands, soul, culture & self identity .. & make them totally subservient to some ideologies & people with whom they have no relation & are from far away lands which they.never saw or knew about. Basically, they teach people to hate their own real identity & turn them against themselves & their own people. Reason why muslims find it difficult to live peacefully with others.

There was concept of Dharma, Karma which doesn't have words in English and all these so-called religions share these concepts. Hinduism talks of Bhakti yoga which means devotion to the supreme being. My point was this concept of "ism" wasn't that prevalent in India and all these tags were given by outsiders. Mostly by British. One Englishmen even created a list of castes in India based on the shape and size of nose. HIs name was Herbert Hope Risley. Google it. P.S. You said Brahmins religion. Once some foreign dignitaries came to visit Chanakya. As he was working on some state matters and when they came inside his hut, he blew the lamp off and turn on another one(lamp). When asked he replied that the other lamp was burning state sponsored oil. As they were here for personal talks, so he lit the lamp that burn oil from his pocket. This lesson speaks of how honest a statesman must be.

His work Nitishashtra has several verses praising Hindu God Vishnu, his work Arthashashtra clearly mentions the 4 step approach of sama-dama-dhand-bhed adopted from Matsya Purana (a hindu religious text). The earliest mention we get about Chanakya is from Buddhist texts that clearly iterate that he was a Hindu Brahmin. Britannica encyclopaedia mentions him as a Hindu statesman simply because of these texts.

      Dear nadam/sir...
Please note that...strict punishment leads to strict & heinous crimes...where innocent will get huge losses as the person knows about the punishment while doing a crime....while in other case the heinous crimes takes place only if it's having a great rivalry...otherwise only slaps and wooden rods used to commit a crime and sorted out within time.... this happens in 90%cases....
