The last quote I got from a repair shop to repair my galaxy s8 cracked screen was $190! I know I can do it myself but most of the videos in UA-cam are either about how to make profits of abot $120 to $160 bucks from customers wanting to do it themselves!! Either we have to buy a freezing aparatus to having it sent to one of you guys, repair guys!! I know that a replacement screen costs you about $12 to $16 to do the repair, however, your labor costs seem and are much higher than car mechanics labor fees!! From what I have seen throughout all videos watched and what I've have heard from "teachers" to people wanting to get into this industry are so one-sided!!! If it costs you between $40 to $60 dollars at most to have a customer's item to be repaired by someone other than yourself's inability, why charge your customers or promise them that YOU will be the one repairing it and not some other company for you?!! Why not let us know the name of the companies that would do that for us cheaper, instead of claiming and gouging us for higher repair fees?!! Remember, a manufacturer's screen replacement only costs you less than $20 bucks and you charge between $175 to $190, that means that your hourly rate for the little time to reassemble our items after having them fix/repaired somewhere else, is too damn high!!! But then again that only goes to show the kinds of abuse of our capitalism society!! For all the videos, suggestions, and advice that I've received and given here and throughout UA-cam's so called " honest repair and doi -it- yourself videos " have been nothing but self-serving, keep the status quo, and beneficial to those who want to get into the field!! None, and I mean none of the videos I've seen and watched, show the right attitudw,care or interest in actually teaching people how to actually do so!! And there was one, but the steps were rushed, incompletely explained and the presenter was too damn busy and worried in expressing and stating his liability disclaimers!! PLEASE READ AND HELP:😊 So I tried this and I failed because I accidentally cut the ribbon cable down at the bottom, while I was separating LCD from frame. after that while I was trying to seprate the glass from the oled, the screen kept going off the suction, and while I reached the top of the phone there was a crack on the side, so the line went between the polarizer and display and I cut it off so I screwed up on two things. Tempruter was at 80degrees is that good enough? Please tell me things I should do next time. And should I next time remove little broken glass shards around the the phone? And what kind of liquid do you use for glue removing btw? And could I use LOCA? Thank you so much man love this channel.

@@MrPhoneDoctor where the small ink dot is there is a line running across the screen from it but it's a hairline when u lock the fone the screen jumps green for about a minute then stop but when u unlock the fone it's fine. If I use with caution it may last very long right bro
I have killed about 4 Samsung Galaxy s8 screens doing this method... 5th one hopefully will work 😂! I always get the wire in between the touch and the Amoled and cut them both! Any tips for stopping this?
Freezer is good for big volume. For one offs just takes to much time to let freezer drop down to temperature. With proper skill you actually do them same time as freezer

S8 plus have seperate digitizer layer which can be replaced. Its an even more delicate repair. I do recommend just replacing entire display lets us know repairs@mrphonedoctor.com

Hey bro depends on models . Newer ones have delicate polarizer so we may start using new seperator like tbk uv to remove oled then cut off glass

Hi friend.I use flat silicon mat when I laminate glass onto display.Because of wavy display and bubbles that cannot be removed.
Hey thx for the tip! On these models we don't get wavy display. Just small air bubbles which come out easily in autoclave.

80 is good. Screen came off because to much force. (cutting polarizer) normally, normally clean cut oca will not be hard to cut.

It can especially if you use while broken. The glass protects AMOLED once broken can cause it to bend and go out. Use with caution!

Lots of practice friend. You need make sure your between glass and polar when starting. Then rest is all technique and knowing how to work the wire
