I saw the real thing twice in 1984, was then, and still am, a passionate Smiths fan...and this is a very, VERY good recording...as a live performance it is SUPERB!
Greetings from Manchester , from someone who will adore The Smiths forever and saw them 3 times . Fabulous job all of you and especially your man on the bass 👏👏👏😎😎😎😎
I just found out about this song 2 days ago at my friends funeral, it’s been on repeat since and I just found this cover and you guys fucking killed it man! Thank you ❤
I love the Smiths. I played in an indie covers band and I can honestly say that this is the hardest song we ever learned. We spent about 2 months getting it giggable, played it once (and played it well), then decided to quit while we were winning. Nice work - hope you're still playing.
Funny how the algorithm works...I stayed in Frederick, MD this past Saturday night and how this pops up! Nice job, by the way. A tough, tough song to play!
I thought the bass player was wearing those "fireman pants" w/ the reflective striping. Then I realized it was a reflection on the chair in front of him. 🚒☺
The girl should have played bass on this song, and given the singer the rhythm guitar, so he could concentrate on singing. That's what most small bands do with songs like this. You need to be versatile
Nice cover! It's amazing how effortlessly the bassist plays the busy bassline while singing so expressively 😯
Not an easy song to sing. Not an easy song to play on bass. And the guy does it perfecly. Incredible!
Not easy to play the guitar riff on this song either.
@@kylekilleen3891 Easy to learn hard to master. Its the same part over and over again, its easy if your playing guitar for months.
and a litlle bit more fastest than the original song hahaha
actually its pretty easy to sing, but on bass everything is hard to sing

How is the bassist/singer not famous?!
Indeed. It must be a hell for playing it and singing at the same time.
Because he's playing with a plec and not with his fingers *Kappa*
@@Ugh-wg4rr ohhh booo hooooo
Excellent ❤

Nice job and dang Quinn!! That was impressive playing and vocals!!!
Oh man, that voice!
The guy singing is like a metalhead that is on break playing metal music and is a huge Pantera fan (if you know what I mean 😉)
good job guys! Wish you all the best
Gosh, what a version! Congratulations, fellas! Greetings from Brazil.
Fantastic. All the way from Glasgow, Scotland.
Andy would be proud!

Poor guy. Had to play a complicated bass line and sing! Good job!
Great cover. Glad the younger gen is into some of our old shoe gaze.
Since when are The Smiths shoegaze?
Very cool see the new generations playing the ethernal The Smiths. 😎
This warmed my heart❤
Wow!!! Wonderful and charming cover!!

Great cover
I wasn't expecting much, but this was very good.
Kudos, my bass playing my friend. A bass line most players would be happy to pull off on its own, and you're singing at the same time.
great stuff
wow thats so amazing
Greetings from Peru

The bass line is so syncopated, and the completely opposite from the vocals... excellent job, guys and gal!!
Cliff Burton on Bass to the rescue 🤘

👏👏👏🎸🎸🎸🎸
A perfect cover doesn't exis... HOLD MY BEER! :)
Owned it.
🤩🤩🤩🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Please do more Morrissey ❤
My only criticism is that the singer's mic should have been turned up a bit. As for everything else: Brilliant
fuckin awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Vocês precisam ouvir legião urbana , banda no Brasil o vocalista era fã da banda The ismythe
I thought the bass player was wearing those "fireman pants" w/ the reflective striping. Then I realized it was a reflection on the chair in front of him. 🚒☺
Lol... the reflex matched them perfectly
👍👍👍👍
Que cante la chica !
nice vocals
As covers go I really can't fault it. 11 out of 10 for me
“A jumped up pantry boy who never knew his place..”
❤
Nature has made a man of you
👍🏻
Better than Smiths, serious, really in my opinion 😊
What sizes are those drums? Thanks
80s rules!
i saw the real thing sounds good to me
Pretty decent cover!
Bro play the bass and sings it ??? he's a mitholgical creature
Get that man a chorus pedal!

Impressive singing while playing that bassline. Otherwise, though, it needs some work especially the drumming. However, I see potential. Keep going!
well done, bassist. guitarist, JM will come over to smack you for that ruined intro.
hahahaha... it was a good rendition after all
that is not an easy song to play bass and sing either good shit
her guitar looks like the Kurt Cobain's guitar. Amazing!!!
sing and play bass in this song!!!!!!!! great!
PS: please, next time someone look the public
The beginning of the guitar... It gets me every time, totally ruined intro))
