one thing I did notice was that end of the first and second they were chasing the puck alot, I was expecting a late in the period goal.. but they held it together. one of their better games of the season.
Zacha's awake! Been waiting for that boy to wake up! A lot of ping ping ping posts! I was definitely one of those who thought we lost this before the puck dropped! Yet my favorite highlight was when I looked up, saw a full moon, and then Brad Marchand scored! All in the same moment! There was a different energy. Wasn't the same as others starts. But I figured if the Bruins lost this one? They would be better off taking JetBlue to Mexico then back to Boston after this road trip! It's funny you mentioned Vancouver being ill - I was just under the game highlights asking Canucks fans if Demko was injured or sick? Some of his recoveries look slow and labored, he looked like he was having trouble tracking pucks Flu in the locker room would do that. And I posted comments asking that same question about Boston Bruins being sick, covid? Boosters? over the past month, that get deleted off of other websites. I have a friend up in Pickering who was just laid out in flu hell for 2 weeks seriously ill. Had to go to hospital. Whatever is going around is nasty. Will take the win anyway! @@bruinsdiehards I always see the notice before a broadcast as to the rights owned by say, NESN and the NHL...is it a PIA to ask "Permission"? I've often wondered what "expressed written consent of the NHL..." really means and involves.
The thing about Marchi is he gets the fans involved as much as he does his team. Few stars do that. He is a definitely a diamond in the rough. As far as the game goes, the effort was there and gaining momentum, but also Canucks were checked out. If they get past Calgary then there may be hopes. Consistency matters.
Sorry but Johnson is AHL material . Yes he had a good camp but Bruins cannot give him anymore chances. Wahlstrom could blossom into a good third line player but needs some skilled players to play with. Not sure if Coyle and Frederic could make him generate offense. I like this Wahlstrom acquisition. Bruins are like Doctor Jekyll and Mister Hyde. We never know what to expect. Mystery team.
Me again from Tokyo! What are your thoughts of B’s trying to pry Desharnais from Vancouver? Waive or demote Johnson, MMac plus. Thinking IF 🐻 make playoffs they will need another big body on backend and depth. We all know the injury history of 🐻 dmen (Carlo, CMac) come late March to end of season. Concern that Hampus may not be the same (Kevan Miller) and losing Regula to waivers with only Osterle, Peeke, and farm call ups ….. well a Desharnais would be good. Thoughts on backend depth? 🐻
I doubt they would be looking at him unless they can get him for free. With Wotherspoon and Osterle as spare D when Lindholm gets back I would think they’re looking at scoring for up front.
Thought this was going to be another loss. Pleasantly surprised. Sway did let in that soft goal. Should heave been a shut out. On Wahlstrom, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Donnie picks up another useless local guy that the lowly Isles didn't want. Until The B's start getting more Canadian guys, they'll never see another cup.
Perhaps Wahlstrom may turn out to be a good addition in the long run. Any time you can snap up a first round draft pick could have high end potential. Nothing to lose anyway lol Swayman played decent. I would have preferred he made it through the entire game without giving up that soft-ish goal. He has a long way to go to turn his numbers around. My concern is that Coyle line. Frederic is invisible most games. Some form of shakeup is in order. They are playing horribly right now. Any inside scoops about injuries there? Any idea when we can expect Lindholm back?

I think Ive seen enough, Johnson & McLaughlin are not worthy of playing time. Time for other options, preferably Poitras. Full disclosure, I advocated for Johnson even before he joined the team, but he's cooked.
This club is schizophrenic. Disengaged the previous two blowouts of this trip, the B's played likely their most complete game so far this year. This big win should help squash, even temporarily, the justified narrative of "they can't beat good teams." This was a great example of what they're capable of when they're not active participants in their own ass whuppin.
@bruinsdiehards Looking at you, Marc MaGhlaughlin. But yeah, about time the Bruins caught some bounces that were created by their efforts in the first place. No idea what to expect of them the rest of this trip. I hope this game shows the players what happens when they're not using most of the games to get in their own way.
In their previous game, these Canucks beat the Panthers convincingly. Last night, Florida was shut-out by Calgary. If the Bs can beat the Flames and then go to Edmonton and beat the Oilers, go home and not collapse against the Sabres, I think the metamorphosis will be complete. If Florida continues to lose while this is happening, I think Boston will have flipped the script for the season so far. And this episode of the Twilight Zone may come to an abrupt end. And Sunrise will be even quieter.😅
Here’s my frustration. Last nights team showed it can competitive with any team in the league. The previous two game the were looking like an AHL team. Mentality issue?
@@bruinsdiehards he did and i am glad, but you and i know he is paid for goals not assists. Its so rough this year with him that Marchand is the number 1 goal scorer i believe. that is a far cry from what Pasta is paid for.
