Sawyer looked like an ace today. Gators looked very competitive against a good Mallards team. Kolm looked unbelievable on the mound too
I 100& agree when that ball went in the air in game 3 I was like there is no way gators beat the Mallards 2-1 then Jorgy caught it and I was shocked

Cheetam was a #1 pitcher as recent as 2 years ago. Now he's not even their backup, what happened to his command?
Side note: Behen looks like a true ace. Only 1 earned-run given up in 2 full games pitched. I think Drew may end up regretting not handing him the ace role.

I think he was a bad fit under Drew’s managerial style. Behen seems like a much better fit with Cheetam and the Gators. He gives them this new swagger and energy that I’m really excited about

This was a very fun series. Not a lot of offense but some great pitching and defense from both teams.
For the Mallards: Robles looked amazing in the mound and so did Kolm. They both pitched lights out and if their team can get the bats hot which they have proven to be capable of, they can be very dangerous.
As for the Gators: Behen looks great on the mound. His drop ball is close to unhittable when he hits his spot. The bats were pretty dry for them, though. They have potential with a young lineup and Adams looks like a very promising young addition. That near walk off would've been a great way to end his debut series, but that Jorgy robbery was absolutely fantastic to watch.
Though I'm a fan of a team in the other conference, this series was a blast to watch.
To Kyle and company, keep it up guys, amazing stuff as always.
Much better for the defensive fan than the offensive fan eh, three 1-0’s (game three could’ve been different but a robbery for the final out was just wow)
Both teams should make the playoffs imo, but it’ll be interesting to see how they handle hotter bats, and if they themselves can get hotter bats

Huge Props to Szerlag for realizing he caught lightning in a bottle with their WS run several years ago but he wasn’t the guy to lead the Gators anymore. More importantly, being unselfish enough to sacrifice himself to go play for a guy in Drew Davis, who never gave him any credit and will most likely never lead his team to a WS, all in order to get the Gators a young, talented player that could help lead Cheat Code and the Gators back to the WS.

Lot of good for both sides today. Kolm looked great on the mound, Sawyer is settling in nicely, Gators have new life, Mallards still pulled away a series win and both sides look competitive. This league only gets better by the series.
