As a son, to have been able to buy my father the Triumph TR2 that he used to rip up and down the mountain roads of the Mosel Valley in Germany after the war when he met my mother would have been an absolute joy. Dad did some amateur racing at LeMans and raced the Grand Prix at Luxembourg in that car. He would have lost it if he saw that car sitting in the driveway. Especially if we got it right with the white with red interior and the long door version which was rare to find over there at the time. He had it shipped over in the military and drove that thing all over Europe. I remember him saying the harder he drove it, the more reliable it was, lol. “As long as I changed the oil and filter regularly, I could wind that thing up until it was screaming and it would stay there all damn day and never get hot. Kept it nice and cleaned out!!” It just cost him more in tires, but less on engine repairs, lol. He was such a great guy. One powerful dude when he retired, but was always just an extraordinary ordinary guy. These parents have to know how incredibly happy and proud their kids are to be able to do this for them. 👍🏻😎👍🏻
57 CHEVY Belair pops had one baby blue and white ! It was a good year!
my granddad's dream car. his dad had one when he was 20. wish i could've bought him one before he passed away in 2013.

That Chevrolet in the last one was beautiful.
Wow, these videos are so much more touching than the spoiled teenagers getting a free car from their parents.
Well the majority of teenagers have little to no perspective. It's hard to understand the value of things when you have nothing to compare it too at that age. The older we get the easier it becomes to appreciate these kind of gifts of large monetary value.
I like all of these cars and seeing the families together it's good to see families still doing things together and giving back but that 57 Chevy is killing it god bless these families and now they get to create new memories with there loves from the past.
cars are time machines . the smell the feel the sound it transports you in time
So true
That's Purdy.. LOVE ❤️ WHEN HE SAID THAT ABOUT THAT GORGEOUS BLACK 57 CHEVY...PS THERE ALL WONDERFULL CARS AND GREAT FAMILY STORIES..AMAZING 👪 ❤️..LOVE THEM ALL..JOHN FROM WINNIPEG CANADA 🇨🇦 😀 ❤️ 💙 ♥️ 😄 🇨🇦
Son if your watching this, I want a 2016 Corvette Stingray
🤣🤣🤣
Son if your watching this I wanna rebuilt new wife, tighter, wetter, big voluptuous tits.......2"dark areolas not pink!
The one thing I can NOT stand on these incredible, touching videos, is when kids interfere or give the surprise away. Someone has planned, worked, gone to great effort and expense, hidden the car, planned the gathering, strategically placed the car outside and wrapped a map in a gift box. THEN, once the map is opened, a child announces “Go see your surprise car in the back yard !”. Proving the old adage “Children should be seen and NOT heard”! 😡
You got that dead on brother!
Kids are annoying as hell
And what the hell are you gonna' do? Lock them away during the surprise ceremony? No, the way to handle the situation(and I'm no "Dear Abby") is to rehearse the situation with them AHEAD OF TIME and stress over and over to BE QUIET during the "ceremony" and not let the "cat out of the bag!"
Randy Porter, I have to say I agree with you. Kids ARE annoying at times. That be ok ng said, I LOVE kids. They make up for the annoying with Love, happiness and all their great accomplishments make the parents so proud. But yes. Small kids can't keep secrets. They have no understanding of events, planning and the hard work that goes into it. There are some moments when the kids need to be elsewhere.
I feel bad for you, to never know what love and family are all about. kids are not annoying, adults can be though. someday those kids may do the same for their parents if they are raised right.
I love that last one, the old man calmly says "Oh there's my car!"
The Chevy II is also equipped with a 283 cid as well, as told by the Chevy crest and flags badges on the front rockers. What a sweet ride. I haven't seen one of these in YEARS!
nothing sounds better than an older car starting up
Amen
The Implication it may beat them speed wise but your car sounds like a fart and these sound great!
There's NOTHING memorable about a Mitsu Evo. Just keeping it a buck. Old cars bring back memories, and sound awesome when you start them. Can't compare.
Beautiful 57 Chevy. Black with red and black interior.
Most beautiful thing I've seen on the internet in a while... thanks
11:38 that is a modest and humble man
That black and red interior on that 57 is superb
Очень хорошие и добрые истории. Наши родители - это те, кого мы по-настоящему любим.
11:50 his first move was to hand the keys back. Selfless gent right there.
It's interesting to watch the "Greatest Generation". They have sacrificed their entire life and it's hard for them to "take" anything. Yet they deserve so Much! Once in a while their families can do something for them like this. How very nice!
AMERICAN VALUES ARE CREEPING AWAY SLOWLY BUT IT'S GOOD TO SEE SOME OF IT STILL EXSIST.
Douglas Compton sadly. But somehow or someway we can keep trying to keep those values alive.
@@danl.r2379 these cars a good representation of good old america. I drive a 83 toyota supra which is japanese but if i had some extra cash i wouldnt mind adding a 72 thunderbird to my garage
Same here in Germany... most people do not respect values any more, there's no respect, no gratefulness and no kindness.
That's a strange thing to say on a video like this. I might agree with you if you weren't yelling. What values do these videos represent? Going into debt, perhaps? That's all too American.
Douglas Compton I agree as an Australian we cherish the older cars and memories I hope this never changes with my own children and future grandchildren
Laughed so hard when the first lady said that she wasn't going to ride with her husband and he smacked her on her shoulder. Sweet 🤗
MID-LIFE CRISIS RED...gotta luv kids given the surprise AWAY
The first one is just cool you can see the grandparents and grandson are in awe of it
I love videos, I'm old now and I would have liked to also offer my Dad the car of these dreams: you live in a beautiful country where it is possible to ride with vehicles of the old years, it is unthinkable to see same in France, thank you for your videos
I wish THIS, is what the media covered nowadays..
The only thing my 3 sons will ever give me is a final nail in the coffin.
I love the last video what a beautiful 57 chevy. And dad was blown away love it love it love it

"Is it a horse? I think its a horse."
"Well, no, but actually, yes."

The classic cars are the best videos
I love it - the last son says “you have to have her home before dark..(the mom I assume) lol

I have no idea why but I go crazy for older American muscle cars, JDM, or European hatchbacks
13:40 watch Dad ease that clutch out, testing her neutral. it’s an 11 second ordeal nowadays, eh Dads?! we smell our own 16:19 Legend didn’t stall unfamiliar yacht in modern park garage alongside his Best Gal. Champions
I want them kids as Mine!!! & the car Hellyeaaa!!!!
I like the garage. They cleaned it to be a dinning area.
my first car was 1980 Oldsmobile cutless 4 door with a v6
10:53 I can tell this was filmed on an iPhone 6S plus just by seeing the optical stabilization glitch.
I love that 57 Chevy
My dream car
You know what makes a great car surprise video? Not having kids in it.
Yeah the kids are always so annoying
Nice
I wish someday my kids surprise me with a 1995 Mercedes S280
4:40 a mustang at a GMC dealership?
most dealers do sell used cars of all makes and models
when men cry for the suprise, than i cry,, :) !!!!!:D
Hearing those kids yelling and telling the surprise omg 😑
This made Dave Ramsey cry
Christine ;)
The new cars are not as good as the classics.
Ah, not really. I've owned and still own several antique cars. The 50's car are heavy and high on design, looks, and curb appeal. Else, they're mechanical junk. Compared to today's automobiles, they're not nearly as safe, fuel efficient, or long lasting. They were generally traded in at about 60,000 miles because they were falling apart.
@@jamesgossweiler1349 old cars used heavy duty real metal. Today's car use cheap plastic. My old Ford truck I just got in an accident and the other car totally damaged but my classic Ford truck only got a tiny dent that you can hardly see lol
The older cars just had soooo much more APPEAL! While the new ones are like a rolling computer and have all the appeal of a cardboard box, a fella like me could WORK on an old car and get it running. Older(up to about the mid '70's) cars were DESIGNED from year to year with completely different SHEET METAL(one year's fender for instance couldn't be swapped for any other year). Even the design of the DASH was changed year to year; instrument cluster, glove box etc.! We used to wait in anticipation every year(on our bicycles) when the car dealerships windows would have SHEETS covering the new cars to be unveiled the following morning! Ah, the sixties were a wonderful time to be a kid. The fifties were too, but my files don't go back that far!
Well she SAID it was a horse...yup..a Mustang lol
One more thing. The black '57 Chevy was gorgeous, right down to the stock interior, but the heads of everyone is cut off, thereby hiding their facial expressions! Was that on purpose or is it just that someone else should have been filming??
I got a Starbucks card for xmas😂
My dad dream car is a Chevrolet chevelle SS
Im doing this ine day and i promise that
and here I am wondering why I dont feel anything towards cars :S
LEARN HOW TO TILT YOUR PHONES, PEOPLE!!!
That kid 05:40
On the first car the trunk seams are not evenly spaced
I love the Chevy ber air 1956 but I hate all the chevys that they make now
'57**
"Das a nova"
Do you know what year. I know it's an early 60s. But I don't know my nova's
@@korgothkillings2032 Looks a lot like a '65.
0:33 what is that car?
1963 Chevy Nova
The old timers
Apparently the first set are not used to Salads.
Mustangs 👎
Mustangs with Chevy motors 👍
Fun Fact: 90% of Ford bodied cars in drag racing are powered by Chevy. If you don't believe me Ford fans, look it up. More mid to high end power / torque and most importantly alot more reliable.
#BowTiesFTW
I hate kids, they always try to steal the show and want all the attention. So annoying
