Thia right here ladies and gentlemen, is how you perfect that 1930s-50s charm.
Great video! Was interesting to hear a bit about the history of the animation :D ♥
Glad you liked it!
Yeah this reminds me of the super old Disney cartoons for sure. Well played.
Absolutely beautiful for sure
Samsons is huge
Samson has the boiler driving wheels and trailing wheels of a Berkshire with I believe the firebox of either a Hudson or prr k4 and he’s a northern
Edit
Samson was reassigned to freight work
That makes sense
@@Fort_Master He was put on lumber trains to rebuild the bridge he destroyed
In addition to the 4-8-2 Mountain Locomotive, Baldwin also made the 2-8-4 Berkshire Locomotive.
They weren't as good as Lima's Berkshires
@@ThunderboltSirenStudios Actually, I messed that up. Only Lima built the Berkshire, while ALCO built the Mountain.
@@JuliatheCinchfield25 no, ALCO also built some Berkshires. Not nearly as many as Lima though. Even Lima made some mountains.
Hehe, as a train lover, I enjoy hearing someone talk train facts. Steam is my passion but dang was it hard work.
You've worked on an engine before? What was it?
@@Fort_Master Heh, sadly no. The closest thing I've driven is a 15 inch gauge diesel engine when I was 14 or something. Twas fun.
Sorry I gave the impression that I'm actually that cool.
4-8-4!!!
I know there was something about Samson in that newspaper near the end, but I kinda wish we got a bit more closure with him actually onscreen. Aside from that, it really is an amazing animation.
It says he is very grateful of Linus saving him, and is being put on lumber hauling (that guy with the whip's gonna get whooped) to repay for the bridge's damage
To answer your question about Samson, he’s a 4-8-4.
9:42 what music is this from
It's from Sid Meir's RailRoads!
@@Fort_Master thanks
