There are two ways to rank Pokemon themes: The way that theme make you feel in a specific situation or if the theme is a really good one and It doesn't care 'cause you listen to it 'cause you like it

I am having a hard time believing that Maxie/Archie battle theme is far more superior to Cyrus' theme when I liked Cyrus' theme more. That said, ranking 240 tracks is no joke so I still liked this video. EDIT: The amount of ignorance to Sinnoh Tracks when compared to other generations is painful and this is coming from someone who began Pokémon with Gen 3 :(
I think that while we all disagree, I think it goes to show how amazing pokemon music really is. It fits EVERY style, and there's something for every musical taste. My favorite pokemon track is probably Receive a Mission from black and white or national park from gold and silver, the original variant, and fav battle theme is either Zinnia or gen 5 elite 4.
Original Lavender Town song was made by psychologicaly sick compositor, that wanted revange on company or something, and created song that made children have nightmares, psychological disorders, and sometimes commit suicides. Don’t remember the details, but it was true story, and Nintendo had to apologise to the buyers, get rid of old cardridges, and replace them with new ones with revised Lavender Town (to be much more precise, Lavender Towns ghost tower).
Too bad the Frontier Brain battle themes weren't here, or the Pokemon World Tournament final battle theme for that matter. Johto Trainer Battle also gets really damn good in the second half if you ask me.

Where is Uxie, Mesprit & Azelfs theme? Where would you put it? I'd personally put it at the bottom of S. Its got a killer intro, kinda falls off after that though, but not by that much. Plus it use it's cave theme in the song which i find pretty cool.

Wow! I disagree passionately with about 50% of these placements, but I'm just glad somebody did it. The kahuna battle theme is S+ without question for me. That probably triggered me the most. Also don't love that you went with Omega Ruby and alpha Sapphire versions. The gym battle theme is so much better in the originals. And no battle frontier music! Ouch. Still insanely glad you did this! This was my work commute noise for the past week.
The Hoenn glaze is beyond crazy, but I don't dislike the whole list. You bring up some solid points, and sometimes your other points drop down to hell for an eternity. Good video though.

Not the best choice to always go for the remade versions of these themes. They are not representative of the original composition when they busy it up. 113 and the gsc legendary dog themes for example were butchered and illustrates that a lot of the time they clutter it up too much with unfitting horns, guitars, and percussion. Every time they try and fill in silence/quiet moments with noise and demonstrate a complete disregard of some fundamental music theory. I mean for God's sake just listen to that irritating echo sound they added to Cainwood if you need an example. My ultimate favorites are Colress Battle, Alola E4, Original National Park, Vast Poni Canyon, Original Silph Co, Heahea City (Night), Area Zero, Village Bridge (w/instruments), Unova Routes 11- 15 (Spring), Deoxys Battle, Hoenn Underwater, Emerald Frontier Brain, and Levincia.

Hi there! One of the stipulations we had was that we weren't going to be using any remixed themes bar the remakes, since using, for example, the rainbow rocket theme would put us in the difficult spot of deciding if its a gen 7 track or a gen 1 track, same with the other boss themes, so we opted to stick with the originals!
If it comes to anime, I’m Kanto guy, because it was first one released in my country with great dubbing and song covers, also first one I watched (and it was in my country later than rest). For games I’m Hoen guy too since it was first pokemon game I played, and I return to it still after so much time has passed. By the time Hoen game entered my national market, in TV was still Johto series.

I think that while we all disagree, I think it goes to show how amazing pokemon music really is. It fits EVERY style, and there's something for every musical taste. My favorite pokemon track is probably Receive a Mission from black and white or national park from gold and silver, the original variant, and fav battle theme is either Zinnia or gen 5 elite 4.

Original Lavender Town song was made by psychologicaly sick compositor, that wanted revange on company or something, and created song that made children have nightmares, psychological disorders, and sometimes commit suicides. Don’t remember the details, but it was true story, and Nintendo had to apologise to the buyers, get rid of old cardridges, and replace them with new ones with revised Lavender Town (to be much more precise, Lavender Towns ghost tower).

I think you started off ranking the songs based off the actual sound, but then started ranking them based off how the theme's fit the game.
Where is Uxie, Mesprit & Azelfs theme? Where would you put it? I'd personally put it at the bottom of S. Its got a killer intro, kinda falls off after that though, but not by that much. Plus it use it's cave theme in the song which i find pretty cool.

Wow! I disagree passionately with about 50% of these placements, but I'm just glad somebody did it. The kahuna battle theme is S+ without question for me. That probably triggered me the most.
Also don't love that you went with Omega Ruby and alpha Sapphire versions. The gym battle theme is so much better in the originals. And no battle frontier music! Ouch.

The Hoenn glaze is beyond crazy, but I don't dislike the whole list. You bring up some solid points, and sometimes your other points drop down to hell for an eternity. Good video though.
Some of the samples didn't do the songs justice, like the SM E4 one. Sounded really low quality and much quieter than it's supposed to be.

Pallet town in fire red does not catch the same nostalgic vibe as the OG
Not the best choice to always go for the remade versions of these themes. They are not representative of the original composition when they busy it up. 113 and the gsc legendary dog themes for example were butchered and illustrates that a lot of the time they clutter it up too much with unfitting horns, guitars, and percussion. Every time they try and fill in silence/quiet moments with noise and demonstrate a complete disregard of some fundamental music theory. I mean for God's sake just listen to that irritating echo sound they added to Cainwood if you need an example.
My ultimate favorites are Colress Battle, Alola E4, Original National Park, Vast Poni Canyon, Original Silph Co, Heahea City (Night), Area Zero, Village Bridge (w/instruments), Unova Routes 11- 15 (Spring), Deoxys Battle, Hoenn Underwater, Emerald Frontier Brain, and Levincia.
FRLG's music sucks tbh. Gen 3 soundfont works well with Hoenn and only Hoenn imo. I don't get why he didn't use Let's Go (actually I do: gen 3 bias)

Hi there! One of the stipulations we had was that we weren't going to be using any remixed themes bar the remakes, since using, for example, the rainbow rocket theme would put us in the difficult spot of deciding if its a gen 7 track or a gen 1 track, same with the other boss themes, so we opted to stick with the originals!

If it comes to anime, I’m Kanto guy, because it was first one released in my country with great dubbing and song covers, also first one I watched (and it was in my country later than rest). For games I’m Hoen guy too since it was first pokemon game I played, and I return to it still after so much time has passed. By the time Hoen game entered my national market, in TV was still Johto series.
