It never ceases to amaze me that you seem to get a haircut five minutes before you shoot every video.

Pretty sure there's a "getting a haircut" and "new video release" correlation. 😂

IK Multimedia's The One plugin is 10x better than the God Particle plugin. It makes the God Particle sounds thin when you compare the 2

Do you really think so? Now I'm going to test it out. I haven't used one in some time but you may have a point.
Do you think the saturation sounds better or compression? What do you feel is actually better? Thank you

Try the "the one" preset or what's it's called, but you have to be careful with the level going in, if it's not too hot it just distorts like crazy.

Kirchoff is fantastic. But I find FF still wins at ease of use.

#MattyHarris Can you do a problem solving video on how you get kicks that where recorded bad(say 2 OH's, 3 toms, 1 snare, 1 kick) and the kick is off to the right instead of center due to the mic placements. How to make it more center without fucking it all up, while still having a decent OH/kit sound. Also editing. Do you cut/move ever single hit, or do you throw on a autoalign plugin, or what? That's just 1 thing, there a ton of others, like proper reverb uses, ducking reverbs, compressing reverbs, eq'ing reverbs, ext. When do you use expansion(for me it's mostly on snares that have no wire sizzle and I need more, but I can contain HH bleed in the mic, and or when I want bigger longer tom sounds, or kick sounds)? And don't forget the proper place and time to use saturation instead of eq. And transient designing the kick and snare. And this is all on real acoustic kit's like rock/metal/alternative/singer songwriter type of stuff. Oh and NO SAMPLE REPLACEMENT EVER(well only if you've recorded your own samples of that sessions drum kit prior to recording, or post I guess, I do it ever session prior to recording as it's saved my ass a few times). And when to use automation for mixing, and mastering(especially for reverbs and whatnot), Surprised you don't like Dr. MS, or Nugen Audio's stuff!
