Filipino spaghetti - we use banana ketchup and hotdog. Simple and cheap. I had to line up in Tukwila, Wa. just to eat at Jollibee. Then go across at Chow King to get some pork bun(siopao) to take home.
They are Filipino comfort food and overseas Filipino really enjoy them. Thanks for your videos and please try some Filipino restaurants or buffet in Vegas. You will be surprise. 👍
Haha can see Danny wasn't too impressed with the food. Filipinos rave about it because it's their comfort food, especially for overseas Filipinos it really brings them home.
Can't go wrong with Jollibee's Fab Five🖐. Crispy & juicy Chickenjoy with amazing gravy 😋. Spicy Chicken Sandwich 🍔. Unique Sweet spaghetti 🍝. Peach Mango Pie and wash it with fresh Pineapple Juice/ Quencher 🍍. Life's good 👍🌞🇵🇭.
Lol. Too bad you didn't dip your chicken in the gravy. That's what it's for. Sweet spaghetti with hot dogs is how Filipinos like it. Funny, they don't serve biscuits in the restaurants in Hawaii. If you go back, try their Peach Mango pie...deep fried and delicious. Only other place to get a fried pie besides the McDonalds in Hawaii. So much better than the baked ones

Nobody in the world cooks fried chicken as perfectly as Filipinos! Filipinos definitely know how to do chicken!

I've not tried Jollibees but I love BB.Q Fried Chicken (Korean and yes, there's a dot in the name and no it's not a Barbeque) chain. The local craft beer is especially tasty.
Welcome back home Danny ! I always go to one in queens location(usually no lines)on the way home. Their chicken is way better than KFC or Popeyes 👍

Hi Danny! I had to subscribe now because you make me laugh so much when you don’t like the food or service. My new favorite is when you gave review of the airline seat on you way to Vegas! Never flew on that airline but flew once on Southwest it reminded me of my first impressions of that one. Unfortunately it seems service is worse now post pandemic, would you agree? Hey Danny wow you went to Jollibee I've been seeing it advertise that they opened but never been . I went to this other place in the last few months a fried chicken joint called pollo campero and it was the best so good. I have to try this place out...and see how it compares

Filipino spaghetti is mainly geared towards kids, hence the sweetness and the hotdogs.
You have to try there Mango Peach pie it is GREAT.
I'm surprised we don't have a Jollibee on the Big Island. I'm surrounded by Filipinos my whole life. I was raised on the sugar plantation with them, my brother's wife and my wife are part Filipino and most of my friends and cousins are Filipino. This island is full of Filipinos and we don't have a Jollibee, go figure 🤔🙏🤙🤙🤙🤗

I prefer their spicy fried chicken!! Not into the spaghetti, too sweet for me!!! You should’ve eaten the chicken with the gravy!!! And how could you not get their pieeeee?! Soooo good!!!
Next time try the Palabok it's noodles covered in garlic sauce with sautéed pork, shrimp and a hard boiled egg.

I know you are happy to be safely back home. Thankfully the food prices are way cheaper than Vegas. At 83 I am not able to stand in this long wait line, but I would wait until the newness wares off to visit. It looks great for a fast meal, but his chain is not in south Texas.
they seem to hit areas where there is large filipino community . we have one in Seattle area and there are a few in Vegas. Food to me was ok, but my filipino freinds love it
The one in Irvine is really good too!
In the Philippines, at Jollibees, the spaghetti sauce is actually Banana ketchup!

I will tell you this: when it comes to fried chicken, I am a breast man... wings, legs and thighs never do it for me... as thus, I am unable to give a comparison since there aint no breast there to compare...
I love Jollibee!!!! Filipino spaghetti is sweeter and hotdogs are a normal in Filipino spaghetti.
Theres hotdogs cause its tradition in philippines mixed with sweet sauce
it did taste rather sweet....

Congratulations on surviving the line, and most importantly, finding a seat! We had similar lines in Toronto when Jollibee opened here a few years back. It's down to a normal level now.
Jollibee spaghetti is my least favourite item on the menu. I think they use banana ketchup in there and it makes it too sweet for me.
Fried chicken is on point though. Super crunchy and the heat comes through (if you order spicy). Don't think they sell biscuits up here though - think you have a choice of fries, mashed potatoes and steamed rice.
Their pineapple drink is really nice as well. More satisfying than the regular fizzy drinks.
its like comfort food,next time try steak burger with rice, its hamburger with mushroom slice w brown gravy, the prices keep going up though,

Terry... the spaghetti is "Filipino spaghetti" which is the sweet tomato sauce.. It's not Italian as most Americans/or others are not used to, so they complain. Trust me... the Jollibee spaghetti is the authentic "Filipino" version with hotdog slices and sweet tomato sauce. I am sure most Americans will say "ewwwwwww... what was that?" hahaha... Hey... it's NOT Italian!!! Take care always. Stay stafe.
Adults really love or absolutely hate Filipino spaghetti. There's no middle ground. 😃😃😃
But children who had tried Jollibee spaghetti universally love it.

I don't understand it at all, the fried chicken was ok, like fresh supermarket fried chicken level. I guess many Filipino's associate it with their childhood and home, which is why they speak so highly of it.
I think this one had a short menu, meanwhile the stuff they like back home is not present here in this times square place... thats my guess

@@tonycarpaccio9550 Chicken with the gravy is what makes it good. I dont like the spaghetti. But spicy chicken is also better. Chicken sandwich is good too, but not as good as popeyes.

I disagree. Actually, Jollibee fried chicken is already one of the most popular fried chickens in USA fast food. IMO, nobody does fried chicken as well as Filipinos.
