Awesome job .. Loved seeing it pull out of the shop.. I didn't think I was ever gonna see those back tires .. lol .. Does the cab sit lower in the back ?? or is it just the camera or my eyes

It took me yeeeeeaaars to get to the “first drive” of the other truck. Much less with this one 🤣
I’ll double check the cab level but it should be level with the frame. I think it’s just how it’s sitting. Drivers front wheel is up on the driveway so I think that’s pushing the nose up a bit. This frame is pretty flexy with how long it is. Nice thing is if it is off a bit, I can just rebuild the rear mounts to get level again.

It's crazy how that bolt was naturally age welded in

Mark Wilson damn. You’re right. The cab does lean back about 1.2*.
Messes up front end sheet metal alignment.
I’ll have to make new longer rear mounts before I can mount the front sheet metal.

Jeremy hanna that’s what I was thinking but the steel on the frame is a really odd dimension. I don’t know I’ll even be able to source it.

I actually just came up with an idea. Keep the 14’ tilt bed as it is, but add another 4-6’ deck right behind the cab but make that stationary.
That way I would end up with 18-20’ bed, with 14’ of it tilt.
