I appreciate this topic and haven’t heard it from anywhere. I have made a personal system. It would help if there was time to erase my marks on the music instead of my band that gathers music immediately after end of performance.
I should have mentioned that it is really personal at the end of the day for what works for you, so that is great that you have a system! That's also a great point about not always having time to erase, so I guess that makes it even more important to mark efficiently.

Perfect! I have seen some people use colored sticky tabs which I think is a great idea for very easy removal.
