I've been in the sign business for 34 years and I'm sure that dirt will get into the edges of that decal and it will lift. You need a clean smooth surface for the feflective vinyl to adhere to. I'd be curious to know how long it stayed down?
Stonecoat epoxy IS the best on the market…..however, as an epoxy artist, I can guarantee you that it and any other epoxy resin WILL yellow in the sun. The sticker, if it is a sign grade reflective vinyl with an asphalt based adhesive should not need a topcoat. Alternatively, I would use a white liquid rubber instead of spray paint (think Flex Seal)…way more expensive, but will last for years AND will adhere to the decal as well as the cement. The decal is beautiful, but unless printing them yourself, too expensive to be competitive.
It will shear, tear, & peel the aluminum with any tire rub. The aluminum still breaths the moisture from underneath & needs a good moisture barrier...that & the fact it is "epoxy" it will naturally yellow, as well as yellow & haze up under the coating from moisture. Facts from a pro...i wont discuss this issue any further though. This is a educational comment.👍

I've never quite saw this adding a decal instead of spray paint. I wonder how long this will last. Can turn the music down. But looks really great.

I’ve never seen decals used for curb numbering. Looks neat. Wonder how it will hold up to weather.

I prefer hand-painted using stencils. The method in the video will not last.
