On the topic of unhinged people, a long time ago in Smash 4 I played For Glory with this Cloud player that got really upset with me and spam messaged me in the Miiverse thing at the time. We talked ish back and forth for awhile but he eventually went on twitter and impersonated me trying to make a copy of my Mii and framing me for racism and all sorts of bad stuff. The Smash community even just the randoms online are truly vile disgusting creatures and they are genuinely dangerous. Be careful with antagonizing people and be ready to deal with some actual psychopaths in this trash community
This community is terrible I agree. Though, I think a good way to avoid a situation like that is to... not antagonize people for your amusement. Of course, assuming thats what you did. I agree, but for different reasons. You should be careful about the utter and complete psychopaths on the internet and not take chances even if they come at you first. There is nothing wrong at all with engaging in unfriendly banter, especially when the person goes far out of their way to bring it to you.
