I went to Tokyo in 1990 on a working holiday visa. I got a bartender job at a small bar in Naka meguro - 'Sony visual sound square'. We handed out 3d glasses and the 15 or so customers watched a sony 3d underwater movie. It was pretty stupid so after a month or so - we changed. I turned up for work and there were a lot of media cameras. The bar was renamed "5555" (all 5s/minago - Minako Honda bar) Minako came and sang, I cant remember if it was every week or not, but she came in often with her mum and sister if I remember correctly. I still remember she ordered a 'side car' cocktail. We were a karaoke and cocktail bar for entertainers and bosses. When I left for NZ a few months later - Minako and others had signed on a Japanese flag as a parting gift. One of many kindnesses I have recieved in Japan, but I still have the flag as a memory of a wonderful time as a 1st time bartender.🙂
M’ is one of my favorite songs from Minako. Thank you for uploading. I have to thank a Hong Kong singer for covering M’ and that s how i found out about Minako in 1986. The HK singer’s name is 上山アンナ. She is half Japanese and her Hong Kong version is named 小野貓（little wild cat).
she's actually a quite singer, but the record company built her a sexy doll character in her early days,I think that's why people didn't pay much attention on her singing~
