After few hours it wont be that much contaminated. when boiling the real taste goes off! what about the seed known as "தேத்தாங்கொட்டை" which is said to be purifying water in 3-4 hours, when the same seed is rubbed (about 50 times) inside the clay pots. That clay pot is said to be with increased Ph value (around 8 Ph) when kept in clay pot overnight.

I'm using rain water for daily use even drinking, Note. Don't use directly,
I'm followed the below steps for using rain water,
1. Filter (10 micron cloth filter) the rain water from terrace and stored in Sump.
2. Pump the water from sump to overhead tank.
3. Then the water goes to Iron remover vessel (This step is not required , I have already this setup for Well water so i'm using)
(Till this steps of waters i'm using for other purpose (bathing, Washing) , Not Required water softener, Rain water is soft water)
4. Then water comes to kitchen and have UV (Ultra-violet) system to kill the virus and bacteria's
5. Then get the pure drinking water
Here I'm not using RO system, so no water waste, PH value is OK for drinking, Not required water softener, because the rain water is soft water.
The simplest and best way to use rain water for drinking using following steps
1. Filter the rain water (clear the impurities)
2. Store the water in dark container (Not enter the light rays / sun light / air)
3. When ever required heat the water and use it.
Conclusion
1. The Rain water is good compare with ground water (because the ground water already contaminated) and metro water which is given by Govt.
2. The same rain water stored in all the water storage areas (like lakes..) In this place lot of contamination happened ,then water will pumps to water tank, here they will add beaching power and mixed it, then the water gives to public as a drinking water (metro water).
3. Rain water is Good Resource.
Could you make videos for how to use rain water for drink, so this will help for public and govt.

Yes rain water is not good for drinking. Because the dust particles evaporate into air and the molecules combined together and it can be seemed as clouds.
Dear LMES Team thanks for the good content... I have a doubt what is the minimum and maximum size of the dust particles can form a cloud... Because we can kill maximum amount of bacteria by heating... So the only problem is dust particles, If size is found we can filter also, so I need that size... If anybody knows please reply....
Thanks for the video but I have one query clouds that are generated during monsoon season especially during the formation of Low-pressure area or depression, the rain clouds are continuously pumped from the sea and fed into the land. In this process whether the rainwater will be in its pure form.
