Thanks for the awesome Lightroom insights! Keep up the good work ;)
I am SO happy that Adobe Lightroom now features the live view function, that was the biggest thing that I was missing with an otherwise perfect software - Thank you so much! Terry, you're also pretty amazing ;)
Excellent thank you! :)
Very much looking forward to Z6 tethering. Will it be wireless tethering?
If the neural plugins can come into Lightroom that will be a big win.cause the features we need to update for a minimal features these days
Add Peloton class destroyer to that introduction list! Hooah!
LOL
Hi Terry! Love your videos! My icloud account says I am all up to date, but I still don't have that little eyeball you mentioned (to see the before and after adjustments). Any idea why? Thank you!
Why is it so hard to recompile LR Classic to work on Apple Silicon? (Otherwise nice update and thanks Terry)
nice presentation. I have a d750 and a z6ii and i have difficulties to understand what is liveview here.
I expect that if we use constant light and change the led power, the reflector position, we will see the effect without pressing the shutter.
same with a mirrorless camera like z6ii, sony, r5,,, if we change the shutter speed we see the effect directly in liveview.
Am i wrong ?
Capture one, helicon focus, control my nikon softwares do that.
A feature I really miss is a mean to sort presets on right panel in categories. I have hundreds of presets (kelby, mattk, ramelli, slrlounge,...) and scrolling is tedious.
a solo mode which closes a catgory when we open a new one would be nice too. same remark for profiles. the right panel is really too small for that.
You are correct regarding the R5.
Terry will the Beta give you Live exposure as you adjust your settings or do you have to take the photo to see your exposure?
not currently.
I think a great feature would be to switch on and off specific filters in Lightroom for example the gradual filter or the radial filter. I know there is a switch to turn them all or off or all on but not one by one specific filters. This would allow me to see how much a single filter is altering my images... Why hasn't this been done yet?
Maybe some1 can help me out, i have a problem with tether connection on my mac with my Canon 5D Mark IV, it doesnt show on the tether bar. And i already tried eveything.. help please, thanks!
Do you know how to tether to an iPad Pro to Lightroom mobile with a canon sale? I have the 90d. Do you have any tips? I don’t have internet. And the Bluetooth option cuts out or needs reconnection after camera is turned off. Looking for a wired open, to view and adjust focus and camera settings in a non WiFi and non Bluetooth option. I found a tether cable and an adapter to usb c on b&h. But I can’t find any videos of people doing this online.
*Canon 90d to iPad Pro via Lightroom mobile. Camera control desired. No WiFi. Wired connection desire. I watched your WiFi LR classic to synchronize with cloud and populate on LR mobile. Needing that next level. 😎
Does the Adobe color option under profile only show for Raw images and not jpg? And I'm wondering if i need to update my Canon EOS R5 again because my Tethering is still not working but this is what I've been waiting on. Even with the "eye" to see image prior to changes, is that only for Raw? My LR says it's up to date and i'm not seeing it. I don't shoot all my images in Raw.
Yes as it’s a Raw Profile. You won’t have that one on JPGs
@@TerryLeeWhite Thank you great info.
Thank you Terry
Hi Terry Haven't been on in awhile. Hope all is well. Catrina
When will I be able to Tether a Canon R5? We have been waiting months.
Works now
@@Ramage7070 Did you update your camera again or how did you get it to work? My LR is up to date and my R5 is still not connecting.
Since updating to Mac OS Big Sur my Wacom Intuos 5 won't work !! done all recommended action ,deleted Wacom completely, wiped my hard drive and re-installed everything, still not working anyone else struggled with this ???
Theater capture work for Sony?

Why is super resolution not i Lightroom Classic 10.2 ?
When a feature doesn’t make it in it’s usually because it wasn’t ready or performing satisfactorily. So they get it right before putting it in and release the features that are ready.
Thanks for asking Jens. If it works in Camera Raw, I don't understand why it isn't in LR. After all the Terry Whites of the world have told us that Camera Raw is the same as Lightroom--- same engine!
what's super resolution ?
@@romainprovost7164 see previous videos.
does tethering support sony alpha yet?
No not currently
They need to get on this or they will lose a lot of Sony users.
What about faster capabilities for Windows.
I have an MBP i9 late 2019 with 64 GB RAM and 8 GB AMD GPU, GPU is switched to Auto (I tested both, no difference) and checking the Activity Monitor during import and generation of previews, no GPU at all is used. Press Cmd+4 in Activity Monitor to open GPU monitor, Cmd+3 opens CPU monitor. Compare yourself. Besides: Affinity Photo was available M1 optimised the day the first M1s could be ordered.
Just performance alone was enough for me; Culling has been painful lately!
Sadly if your computer isn’t performing as it should the Lightroom performance will be no better. I think it’s time for a new hard drive 🤦♂️
Great that you started with a joke !
Another underwhelming update given that this is the sector leading product. If this is the level of evangelism we can expect from Adobe then it would be reasonable to expect a significant level of apostasy from its adherents.
