I like this guy. His voice is so upbeat, it literally sounds like he's always smiling. Glad to know you like Marc too. Following him and taking some tips from him really leveled me up as an artist myself.
@@ArseniKatsela Thanks so much again! I think videos covering the fundamentals, the very, very basic fundamentals, aren't easy to find online and these really are the sort that can help beginner artists to grow and be inspired. Almost all tutorials on drawing on UA-cam seem to assume that you know how to draw lines or curves so videos like this to target the basics and get a good grasp on those first are a godsend.
@@ArseniKatsela That sounds lovely, thank you. But please- I didn't mean to pressure you, you should make the videos you would want to. All ArseniKatsela content is wonderful ArseniKatsela content. I simply meant to show my deep appreciation for your videos.
I've drawn on screen-less tablets for a long time in the landscape position. But then I discovered a video by BoroCG (you can type "BoroCG setup" in search to find it, it's published 4 years ago). So I started using tablet holders like in the video to lift my tablet into the position similiar to animators desk. Benefits are: less wrist and spine pain, plus your hand more freely glides above the surface. But it takes a week or so to get used to it :)
Ooh, I've actually checked 20th second of my other video :D Sorry about that! His name on Artstation is Dawang (he is an awesome concept artist) and here is the link - www.artstation.com/dawang
Yes, it's on my Patreon page :) If link doesn't work, you can just type Arseni Katsela in search on Patreon! I use Draft Brush in the video and it's my favorite from the pack! :)

Almost every art software has a rotate canvas function. Find it and learn how to use it!
Woah! I'll look into it , thanks a lot man. Also great video!@@ArseniKatsela
@@lawnmower16it wasn't about that lol i was asking about how I can draw with my wrist if I have a screen-less tablet.
There's always the old fashioned pencil to paper that these methods work well with also ☺️
My tablet lies flat where my mouse usually is since my keyboard is in front of me should I keep resting my wrist or just hover my wrist
You should hover your wrist if you want to do these more efficiently
Idk, really fine to rest it, just don't put a lot of pressure on it
You give me draw like a sir vibes for some reason
He's an awesome guy! Thank you :)
voice and accent is the reason
bro i can draw so much better traditionally and i feel like an amature when i try to draw digitally, i use those no-screen tablets
Do these exercises work with using mouse too?
Hey! :) They are suitable for drawing tablets and traditional drawing
great video, can you share the art/artist of the picture you show at 20 seconds?
Thank you! It's my own artworks, you can find them on my Artstation page :)
@@ArseniKatsela gorgeouss!!!!!! but I still cant find it on your artstation!!

I often use short and scratchy lines to properly create a circle. Is it that bad? 😅
Yeah, it's absolutely messy. Used to do that too but eventually started drawing circles in one stroke which is clean.
yea do it in one stroke

😅 eheheh... not me watching this video tutorials even tho I know how to do these things since I was little
