My 30 Day Colour Cube Challenge Changed the Way I See Colour!

In this video, I’m kicking off a brand new series using the Colour Cube Challenge to inspire my fluid art paintings. Each painting in this series will follow four key criteria: 1. The colour palette, 2. The pouring medium, 3. The fluid art technique, and 4. The embellishments. For this piece, I’m starting with Colour Cube Vol. 1, No. 199, a palette of stunning warm tones featuring deep purple, ultra violet, orchid, mulberry, and black.
I begin with a puddle pour of these rich colours and add a bronze swipe, creating captivating textures with the swipe technique. The combination of colours and techniques results in a bold, textured painting full of depth and beauty.
