- Watch as former Miami Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas takes the stage at the Pro Football Hall of Fame enshrinement ceremony in Canton, Ohio on August 5th, 2023. Zach is introduced by the legendary coach Jimmy Johnson, unveiling his Hall of Fame bust. In Zach's speech he thanked everyone that has played a role in getting him to this point, including his family, teammates, coaches, and an emotional tribute to Junior Seau.

Could not of said it any better than what noise we could of made in the mid to late 80s and early 90s if we had Thomas defense then I guarantee we would of won a couple of Super bowls I have been watching the Dolphins since 1984 and I know if we had a Zach Thomas anchoring the defens6 from 84-94 the team would of been special
This man epitomizes what a HOFer is..I was 6 yrs old when he was drafted and now I'm 33. I lost my father Dec 31 2022. As he names off all the great players we had around him, I'm reminded of the times my father and myself had together every Sunday. Zach you are my inspiration! Every Dolphin fan will continue to love, respect, and idolize you for not only what you meant to our team but more importantly to each and every one of our lives. You are now forever etched in bronze as one of the best to every do it..We love you Zach!! Our loyalty is forever..Phins up to #54!!
Congratulations. As a diehard NY Jets fans I can attest to you of Zach Thomas toughness, leadership and talent. He was an absolute pain in NY Jets ass. When you played the Dolphins you always had to know where Zach Thomas was lineup. What’s the irony that Paul Westhoff NY Jets special team coach.
Not a Dolphin fan…but loved watching Zach Thomas play…he was AMAZING…and is just an all around good guy. Happy he made it to the Hall and how great was it for Jimmy to be there with him.

Zach Thomas never won a championship but he always gave the game everything he had! He has proven hard work does pay off! He is an American Hero in my opinion! His speech was absolutely amazing. I loved Jimmy Johnson and I loved his draft picks like Zach Thomas which seemed not to be a slam dunk. Between Jimmy seeing something there that could be coached and traianed to greatness and Zach giving it his all day in and out, a HOF player was created. I'm sure one of the things that Jimmy saw was his immense character. This is a man who gives his all, doesn't give up or in, and he's a man that fellow players would love to call a teammate.

As a lifelong Bills fan since the 80's, I never hated Zach Thomas. I always respected him & the way he played the game. Amazing MLB. For many years, he was the only good player on those Dolphins defenses. If not for Ray Lewis, he'd be the undisputed best MLB of the 2000s.
