This is a soul type backing track, kind of in the style of John Mayer.
This backing track consits of three parts, verse bridge and chorus. They are repeated three times, but at the end of this track the chorus part is repeated several times before the ending of the song.
Chords in part 1 (verse):
E C#m7 | A E | E C#m7 | A E | E C#m7 | A E G#7| C#m7 F#7| A/B E|
Part 2 (bridge):
F#m | G# | A| A/B B|
Part 3 (Chorus):
E C#m | A E G#7| C#m7 F#7| A/B E|
Scales:
The E major pentatonic scale, works great on the entire track, and so does the E major scale. But there are two chords in this song that are outside of the E major scale.. the F# (replace the A note in the E major scale with a Bb), and the G#7 (replace the B note in the E major scale with a C).
This was an absolute blast to play with.
It is SO nice to hear an actual jam track on UA-cam... rather than something that sounds like it was made with a 1980's electronic drum machine and a $49.99 kids electronic synth/piano. This really gets you to WANT to play alone with it and experiment. Definitely well worth the subscribe and thumbs up!!!
man you went all out on the drum track on this... some of these fills are excellent. really adds to the depth of the track too... I tend to record my jams to learn little things from the mistakes I make along the way and when you have something this fleshed out to jam to the end result always sounds better for it. nice work.
Very, very enjoyable. Thank you. Love playing with it.
Sweet, kind of 'People Get Ready' -ish, great job! Thanks for sharing :)
Georg Pavicic yes basically same chords.
Don't know why - norah jonesish...guess she took it from the people get ready

It feels kinda weird listening to slow dancing in a burning room in major
It's love is a verb basically
waiting on the world to change but in e maj
Love Jamming to this.
Is it Ok to make a video of me playing along for a non monetised UA-cam channel ?
I would of course credit you with the track.
Jeff Beck... People get Ready.

love is a verb
Reverb
Waitin' on a world to change
Slow Dancing In A Burning Room :D
great track. I find it better to play it in C#m. It is the same tho
C# Minor is the relative minor so it works perfectly!
Thias Johannesen yes c# minor is also Emajor.
practise drums on it 👍
Thias Johannesen its heavily based off slow dancing in a burning room which is written C#m
Use E blues scale! C#m is right but not so.. blues
Just a Happy Leave Your Lover by Sam Smith
Would love to see a guitar tutorial
tkjazz it's for improvising. Go for it. U can do it. You gotta keep trying.
Any chance of the tab 😁
Shut up, please. I hate when you talk.
Here is brand new similar style track in A major: ua-cam.com/video/WtFyKxgzE0M/v-deo.html
can someone post the chord progression?
i did
CHORDU
Too much guitar out in front of the mix. Less prominent guitar would allow a little more breathing room for the player using this.
Disagree entirely. I can absolutely abuse this with my leading skills. Maybe you're not good enough...
@@opannefrank1986 SHOTS FIRED!!!
who says i can't waiting to the world to dancing in the burning room )
People Get Ready...In E..Ha! Nice Job Fooling People, jon..Ha!
