I thought it was ironic that, while the Score hosts criticized the White Sox' error, their screen caption displayed a grammatical error: "White Sox Got Embarrassed in A Unexpected Way." I guess we all make mistakes.
As a 45 year old cubs fan, played baseball for Leo catholic High School, we always had a coach where they belong, I've never seen this on no level, this team is a reflection of its owner, and he's looking for billions from tax payers for a half empty stadium? I mean im no big fan of the Ricketts, but god, this team is atrocious.
Players or coaches (not sure) were gesturing to their heads, indicting helmet. I am guessing that Jason misplaced the helmet, or left it in the clubhouse and needed to retrieve it. The point is, what it demonstrated to me is that they have no urgency, passion, or respect for the game or the fans. Their actions basically said, we've already lost, we suck and we don't care. They are tanking the season and probably will for several years.
Who cares? The constant Sox bashing by Cubs backers is obnoxious at best. I'm old enough to remember a 25 year period (early1950s thru late 1960s) where the Sox were always battling for pennants, and the Cubs were always doormats. Now things have rolled over. Someday they will roll over again. I been a Sox fan for 60 years. I despise Pedro, but I won't blame Reinsdorf for not handing out 300 million dollar deals to .240 hitters and sore armed pitchers.
When I saw this pop-up I thought it was talking about the homerun, that wouldn’t have been a homerun, but the flyball that Fletcher let bounce off his glove and go over the fence for a homerun, tonight on 4/6/24. Every day it’s a new embarrassment.😂
They tried to rebuild BUT Johan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez and Michael Kopech were all constantly hurt or bad. When your three top acquisitions bust out it ruins everything.
Even Nashville will not support this clown organization in the long term. No new fans will pay to watch the worst team in MLB. Southerners don't care about baseball - they love college basketball and football. I grew up in the South. Atlanta is an exception because it's not the South (except before General Sherman burned it down). Everyone in Atlanta is from northeastern states.
