The ideal fsd car for me would drop me off at the store, enable me to tell it to park in a shaded spot and move itself to other shaded spots as the sun moves (to keep the car cool) and when I'm done, finds me wherever I am in the shopping complex (via GPS) and picks me up.
It can do that last park right now (come find you and pick you up), which is called Summon. The first part of what you described should be out sometime this year. They’re calling it “Banish”, which does the opposite of Summon and goes and parks itself
it is always backing in because leaving the spot it does not have side cams in the back to reverse out. If the front is facing outward it can leave the spot on its own.
Since I have FSD 12.3.6 on my Model 3 with Intel and ultra sonic sensors chip auto park doesn't work anymore for me. Previously it worked just fine. As soon as I press start and release the brake the system kicks me out of the auto park mode. Anyone else having this problem?
At this point I think it doesn’t front in park because there is no bumper camera to check for anything below the bonet and give a view in front. Wouldn’t be surprised if cybertruck can front in park when it gets that ability
I didn't have Auto Park before 12.3.6 due to having Ultra Sonic Sensors. As far as the driving, nothing really notable. All 12.3.x updates are minor, with the next big improvement coming in 12.4
This version of Autopark is WAY better than the previous releases. As far as FSD 12.3.6, I've noticed minor differences from 12.3.4, such as it no longer rides the edge of the road in the right lane (chuck cook narrow roads) and seems a little hesitant at reaching max speed limit.
FSD/Autopark cannot drive in straight to a parking spot. And that is the best way to park, if you want to unload groceries into the trunk. But FSD won't cooperate. FSD/Autopark also cannot handle *diagonal* parking spots, which are very common.
Agreed with diagonal parking spots! Also here in Florida we must park head in (our plates are only in the back) and looks like it can't handle it, for now.
imagine buying "FSD" in 2016 and it still doesnt work in 2024 they had EIGHT YEARS to get it right i wonder which will be released first, tesla "fsd" or Star Citizen

6:57 you didn’t stop at the stop sign 😱😱😱👮♀️🚓🚨🚔
Is USS disabled when you’re using FSD?

Perfect! Nice - The technology is amazing!

No one reverses parking at Costco. How will you unload your groceries 😂
You summon the car and it comes to you at the entrance I believe with the summon.
@@richardhislop-harvestthena4882 no one uses summon in public. Have you ever seen it?
that second pedestrian at the beginning is a freaking NPC haha never seen someone walking like that and that slow i'm crying
XDDDDD
I don't find parking to be that difficult, and this thing takes way longer to park and it's awkward. I don't see the value add.

No forward parking means you are more vulnerable to door dings. (from people opening doors on to your car)
The white car at 4:57 did a better, faster job parking than the auto park just by pulling in 😂

You'll be able to summon it to and from where you want it to be, and it won't matter how it parks as long as it's legal
@@frankwu98 But Summon and Smart Summon still don't work properly, In May of 2024!
FSD is years behind schedule.
It probably backs into the spot because it can’t see cross traffic when pulling out. That would degrade auto emergency braking.
I think it's bz Tesla does not have front bumper camera...
Im kinda jalous my FSD is still in 11.4 …
Me too 😕
@@vicwigner damn I feel Tesla doesn’t care about their old owners hahah
PICK A SPOT ALREADY!

EIGHT YEARS to get it right
i wonder which will be released first, tesla "fsd" or Star Citizen
But it does work! I can literally drive from home driveway to my work driveway without pressing the brakes, accelerator or making any steering inputs
lol. FSD not self park . Bad video.
Tesla did not claim fsd self park . Redo your video
