It's been a thought as I also respect peoples privacy, I was trying to get my cam running but with no success I also I need a permanent power op instead of a single battery
I think the "deal" had already been made. For some amount of support cash, Intel got "exclusive" rights to a ship... for a time. It makes zero sense on anyone's part for this deal to be "in perpetuity". Intel no longer has a need for the ship... to be blunt. And I'd be SHOCKED if that wasn't written into the original contract somehow. Where after a period of time the ship would either: A: Be open for Intel to introduce another product with a portion of the sale of that product going to CIG for use of the ship. or B: After a given period of time, the right to sell the ship into the game would be given back to CIG. So I think that's where we are. The contract is expiring and Intel can now wither $#!+ or get off the pot.
