Jus finished this today. I loved this lil wholesome fun show. Great premise from the comics and they did a really fun story inspired by it. Will be missed.
im probably not going to be in the majority but the character drama emotional weight and depth of how trauma is depicted is completely lost in trying to modernize it the show is devoid as the comic is full of heart. all of the characters are bastardized and disrespectful from how the comics depict the main cast there is a part in the comic where ty the older brother is contemplating taking his own life for murdering his fathers killer but bode the little kid shows up to ask a naive question on a joke/figure of speech which causes him to realize that he needs to stay alive for the sake of protecting and helping raise his brother without blatantly screaming it at the audience. the entire series is riddled with moments like this. its safe to say the show doesnt feature this scene nor any of the most emotionally gut punching moments .
I didn't like this show, had potential for me, I thought the first season was too dramatic and overdone, but it had to get better, then I watched s2e1 and reality slap me like a fish 🐟 they went the opposite way, made the characters more annoying and even more senseless dramatics. 🥱
They are all annoying! Specially bode, the youngest one. He is the one, droves them into crazy and madness situations! His family told him dont do anything crazy but he keeps doing it, he dont how to listen and he is spoiled brat! If he keeps listen all will be well and they will happy. But Bode Locke is fcking little annoying shit! That why there is the last season that he keeps annoy the watchers
