Every singular action adds up to a collective movement. Climate change continues to be an ongoing issue not only for Mindanaoans but also for the hands that feed our society. Farmers, one of the most susceptible groups to climate change, face the harshest consequences of the majority. Drought and floods rendered the once fruitful fields that supply our future to nothing. Like how the sun's blinding rays blind our eyes from reality, we must find shade under the canopy of information to witness the truth. We are not the only ones suffering; stand for change. Linangin ang kinabukasan, huwag hayaang patuyuin ang pagkakataon.

I actually came from a family of rice farmers here in mindanao, specifically from North cotabato. My family has been farming this staple crop for generations already and its what fed us and what kept us moving. I witnessed how my family struggled because of the extreme weather so this video is really helpful in showing how climate affects not only us farmers but everyone.
