Just got a 2015 last week Limited. 60k miles. Everything's perfect.was able To stay in my budget..thanks for this review it helped me learn some More of the features. Only Thing I'm going to need is a set of tires with in the next 10 to 15 k miles. 5/32" .
@@wahidrahmatzada5495 I bought a white 2015 limited 3months ago. It is not noisy inside at all. Its very comfortable and cozy and easy to drive. Has a great front view with that large windshield. I average mid to high 30mpg on the Highway. My best is 40mpg. What I love about this SUV is the responsive, tight steering feel like my Celica. Very sporty feel to drive.
@@wahidrahmatzada5495I just bought one used last week. It’s surprisingly very quiet, I got the lowest variant 2015 model. In the year 2023, it is surprisingly good and very roomy too, both for passengers and baggage.
good job explaining the features and how they work ,I bought my 2015 xle12.26.15 and was so happy to find this video after viewing a few ,which tells you this is the xle but show you the SE interior.Thankyou
Thanks for putting a video like this. I bought this vehicle over the weekend and looking at your review today, it showed me features I was not aware I had. Very helpful.
I've owned my 2015 Super White with Latte interior for about 6 weeks now and I am guilty of not having read my manual fully yet. So, you showed me a couple things I did not know so I thank you for that. Good video.
I would like to know how to use the buttons under left the steering wheel and if by chance you have and can share the specifications and technical info about the Rav4 I would be more than thankful
I've never driven one of these and I'm interested to know whether one has to lean forward to reach the side mirror adjustment switches and then once a 'best guess' has been attempted, does one sit in their comfortable driving position to check the adjustment? Bobbing back and forth adjusting and checking as required until done. Beautiful car and the hand controls look very tactile -
Do you remember if the 2015 Rav4 with the 6 speed automatic transmission has a dip stick in the engine bay to check the transmission fluid level? Or is it a sealed transmission like the CVTs?
I learned new stuff about my car thank you. I did notice that this car has navigation system and mine doesn't I have RAV4 2015 xle awd I was wondering why ?
the 2.5 is a very junky engine. look up Toyota's cam gear rattle on Google. Camry, FJ Cruiser, Avalon, Lexus, up to 2012 RAV4's, you name it, have cam gears rattle that lead to failure..Toyota has several TSB'S addressing it.
When you start up the RAV-4 is it in a default ECO drive mode or sport or just a normal? Can you turn off ECO mode by clicking it again or does it just stay on?
Mike I am considering getting a used car like the: Mazda CX 5, the Hyundai Tucson, the Hyundai Santa Fe Sport or this Toyota Rav 4. What would be your recommended choice from the above listed cars?
+Penelope416, Hi Penelope. New or used, go with Toyota. It has proven year after year the top of the line as far as reliability and far less repair issues going forward. That is why Mike joked in his video as he shut the hood that you won't need to lift the hood because it's a Toyota. Just keep up with oil changes and use premium unleaded gas even though it is not required. The detergents in it will keep your engine cleaner so as to avoid problems later on. Don't forget the air filter too, every 1500 miles. They are cheap and your car needs it to breathe and not stall out. You can change those yourself. Peace.
Thank you for this review. Very detailed. I have 2 questions. With navigation can you use the voice button to say the address or restaurant? Second question is. If I leave the dome light switch off. I wouldn't have to worry about closing a car door or back hatch from draining battery? Thinking about leaving the hatch open all night when camping.
What's up? 1. Yes, you can, it's "enter destination" and the address 2. Nothing will happen to it, make sure to turn off both cabin lights (front and rear) and the cargo area light
I just bought a 2015 RAV4 XLE and I'm trying to get my headlights to come on automatically at night and turn off automatically. I didn't see you address this on your video. Can you help?
@@kioshisevilla7106 I love mine. Great on gas no issues. I do wish it was a little bit bigger but I'm single no kids. If I had a family I would go with a highlander.
I have just a dog. I go camping with my dog but since I sleep in it. With the blankets, food camping stuff it's good for one person and your dog and cat. If your doing two people I would go bigger. I noticed this when I did a road trip with my brother and dog. Either way you cant go wrong with the rav4. I like the 2017 or 2018 models and up because they have rear ac.
one car I wish we would have left on the lot. the 2.5 is nothing but junk!!!! cam gears start rattling after a few thousand miles and toyota has had numerous problems with this and have A TSB to cover a lot of engines. TSB 0146-10. TSB 0094-09. TSB 0012-11..Lexus recalled theirs it got so bad. it is not normal or the sound would be present from NEW! they won't say why the noise happens after a few thousand miles but they say the noise is due to lack of lubrication..well. wouldn't all new engines be this way?? this engine literally sucks! and do not delete this comment. it's freedom of speech
+MikesCarInfo I don't have a clue. I figured you may think it would persuade people not to buy it. i had a 2007 RAV4 V6, a 2010 Camry 2.5, and my wife has the 2013 RAV4..all with cam gear failure 😞
I think you have the clearest and most comprehensive car/truck reports on UA-cam. Great job Mike.

Got one yesterday. You the man. Thanks
Very good job Mike I just brought me one last Tuesday and I love it 🥰
That's a great explanation explanation for new Rav4 users. Happy to find your video.

Is it a four wheel drive ?
I'm 7 years late!! But I still buy a SUV Mike.

I have the 2015 xle but I don’t have the motorized trunk.

I love your hands
very good review, almost all other videos SUCK.

It’s an option I think you have to add it
@13:06 I have noticed in the gauge has 1000 rpm at idle normal temp, isn’t that too high? I think 750-650 rpm is ideal
Good n detailed
Great comprehensive overview!
+Raida A Thank you Raida!
+MikesCarInfo hi mikes,we don't have the rear ac vents

Please i need to know difference between Awd and LH or XLE

firegal2k The Cx-5 is the best among your choices. it outclasses them all by a mile in looks performance and reliability.

I am going to up the RAV4 when my mom past the car test 2015
Nice video. Thank you.
good car
...how is this an XLE w/o All Wheel Drive? I thought it was std on XLE and Limited.
AWD was optional. cdn.dealereprocess.org/cdn/brochures/toyota/2015-rav4.pdf
does rav4 xle AWD have an automatic headlights? i cant find the AUTO
So you turn off the trac control so the wheels spin to get you out of a slippery jam?
Yes that is one of the main reasons to disable it.
no standard heated seats in XLE?
Which trim has leather seats?
I have a 2015 rav4 xle. How do I update my navigation? It doesn't list new roads/highways that were built.
Hey did u figure it out? I’m looking into getting one but not 100% sure. Do u like yours?

Haw much
I wish I could get a diesel with a dang manual but the pansies Americans have become make that unprofitable to ship here.
No difference with RAV4 XLE 2014.
