When I was younger I always recognised the bat symbol more than the S symbol
Yeah. The bat symbol is way more recognizable. However both the House of El and Batman symbols have many different designs.

Superman: The Movie was Superman's fourth theatrical feature, not the first. There were the two theatrical serials and Superman And The Mole Men before that. Christ, I know way too much about Superman.

Funnily enough the Robin Hood thing does go deeper than Man Of Steel. Julian Sands (the physical Jor-El from Smallville) was in a Robin Hood movie and John Schneider (Jonathan Kent, also in Smallville) was a "modern day Robin Hood" according to the Dukes of Hazzard theme song. But I'm afraid all the rest are unaffiliated as far as I know. George Lazenby, David Warner, Eddie Jones, Glenn Ford, Stuart Whitman, and a few other assorted actors as Jonathan Kent (or Eben as he was known early on) and Jor-El have never been Robin Hood.

Technically speaking, Superman isn't particularly weak against magic, he's just not totally invulnerable to it. It affects him just as it would a normal human.
I think the only good thing about Superman III, was the Superman vs Clark scene. I've tried to wipe IV from my memory--no luck, though.
I know that Superman would most likely kick Batman's ass, but Batman is so much cooler. Sorry Soops!

Yes, they had to invent a magic rock just so he'd have a weakness. I'm not a fan, obviously, so I would like to know from someone who is: If all his power comes from the sun, isn't his power limited to no more than what sunshine he absorbs? Like, didn't he sneeze and explode a galaxy or something? That would take more power than all the energy in our sun. And if his heat vision is that solar energy coming straight out of his body, wouldn't that substantially weaken him every time he uses it?
+secrettangerine Kal El's powers don't exactly work like that. He _metabolizes_ yellow solar energy and uses it to accomplish the amazing feats that he does. Since he's basically a living solar cell and constantly absorbs solar energy 24/7, he never truly expends all of the energy he takes in. (We won't discuss his new solar burst power, ugh) A great example is Superman 1 million, an alternate future Kal that slept within the heart of a sun for 15k years. Crazy, huh?
It makes a little more sense that he basically stores the solar energy up, but that still means he could never perform something that uses more energy than the sun, like on the galactic scale, or even a solar system bigger than ours. For example, let's say he uses every last drop of nuclear energy the sun will produce in its entire lifetime all at once, it wouldn't be as powerful as all the energy from a star simply bigger than our sun.

Got a 102nd for you: Smallville was actually given a noted distance in the comics from a larger town. 55 miles west of Salina Kansas. Which puts it in my home area right in the middle of the state.

Aaron Smel-whoever did not play the toddler Superman who caught the truck in the 78 film. That was an actor called Lee Quigley who died at the age of fourteen because he was prick enough to start sniffing glue.
He did however play the photo booth boy in Superman 3 and the infant Superman on Krypton.
Superman is not invincible he just gets stronger over the years of the comic books and movies so he is an super hero who will never die and will never stop being one of the world's most known hero's.
Also superman has more weaknesses than what you mentioned in the video.
