Actually, in the original Myth, Thor and Loke (yes that's his actual name) are not brothers.
Also, it really bugs me that people keep refering to the Jotunns as "giants". The only time giant can be used to describe them, is in their height, not their race.
And finally, iy annoys me how people have gotten the idea that it's called the nine "WORLDS" when it is the nine "REALMS".
Sorry, but as someone from scandinavia, this is important to me. People seems to have misinterpretated alot of things from Norse Myth.

Hemsworth's poorly bleached/makeup'd eyebrows in the first film drive me absolutely BONKERS. I don't know what they did or how they did it, but it ultimately looked like a 9th grade girls first attempt at lightening eyebrows.

The hammer was built by Eitri, using the metal uru, which is one of the strongest elements in the universe, the hammer has an enchantment cast into it that says only those who are worthy can use the hammer, which could be considered technology, but I'm going with magic. Now the real buff on the hammer is the enchantment that Odin cast on it "whoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor" so when captain American picked up the hammer, he gained the durability and strength of an Asgardian, and was also given the power to control lighting and other impressive feats .
In the comics, Jane Foster, a doctor who is dying of terminal cancer is worthy enough of mjolnir and when she holds it, the cancer as well as other toxins and injuries are healed/ expunged from her body as she transforms into her thorself.
Another thing, Thor has the Thorforce, however he is just starting to figure that out since Thor: Ragnarok. If someone else weilds the hammer, it doesn't take any power from Thor, it just greatly increases the other person who wields the hammer.
Thor I'd my favorite avenger, and since his contact was renegotiated, I am so excited that we will get more Thor. I really hope they do well with him, Chris Hemsworth is a phenomenal actor, there couldn't be a better choice of people to play the God of thunder.
