Mathew 5:20 "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." no one from the current hebrew roots movement follows Torah even close to the Pharisees...also the Hebrew roots movement implies that God was incompetent in leaving us the complete kit...hope you get the awesomeness of the grace/righteousness/spirit filled life the new testament prescribes...living a Godly life is still totally what its all about...
Yes, all Scripture Jesus quoted was from the Tanach, often the prophets, but this teaching puts us back into religion. The Torah, the Law, wasdesigned to show us the high standard of obedience God required. But it could not bring us to perfection. It revealed why we continue to be disobedient to God’s commandments. For the good that I want to do, I do not do, but I practice the very evil I do not want…I find then the principle that evil is present in me” Rom. 7:19,21. That was the purpose of the Law. That we would see we are all sinners who needed a savior. So hearing the gospel we repent, receive Jesus, and finally gain the righteousness of God only available “apart from the Law.” This is the new covenant that Jeremiah said would not be like the first covenant at Sinai. And “When he said a new covenant, he has made the first OBSOLETE. But whatever is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to disappear.” Hebrews 8:13
@@thelastroundupteachings Paul also said this Rom 6:1-3 KJV 1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin )break the law), that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin (breaking the law), live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Rom 6:6 KJV Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.(Break the law).Rom 6:12-13 KJV 12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. 13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness (breaking the law) unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness (keeping the law)unto God.Rom 6:17-18 KJV 17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin (breaking the law), but ye have obeyed from the heart (mind) that form of doctrine which was delivered you. 18 Being then made free from sin (by repenting of your sin and excepting Jesus...), ye became the servants of righteousness (keeping the law).Rom 6:19-23 KJV 19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity (sin); even so now yield your members servants to righteousness (keeping the law) unto holiness. 20 For when ye were the servants of sin (wilfully breaking the law), ye were free from righteousness (keeping the law. Think about that, free from righteousness). 21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death (sin=breaking the law=death.1Jn3:4. 22 But now being made free from sin (repented), and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Paul also said this about God's law, Rom7:1-3 the lady is under the marriage law while her husband is alive (wait a second, why is she under the law, didn't Paul just say that we are not under the law?) but if he died she is no longer under that law, why? because she is no longer married. Has the marriage law been done away with, no, as soon as she is married she comes under it again. The law that we are no longer under is the law of sin and death. Rom 7:12-13 KJV 12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good (the law of God) made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good (the law); that sin (thou shalt not murder)by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Rom 7:14 KJV For we know that the law (God's law) is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. Rom 7:22 KJV For I DELIGHT in the law of God after the inward man: Rom 7:23 KJV But I see another law (law of sin and death) in my members, warring against the law of my mind (God's law), and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin (and death) which is in my members. Rom 7:25 KJV I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin (and death). Romans 8 then explains that those who are Christ follow God's law and those who ain't Christ can't even please God Rom 8:4-8 KJV 4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. You can't deny that Paul is teaching that those in Christ keep the law of God. What do you think?
Jesus identified himself as the Messiah. John 4:25,26. The apostles knew. (Matthew 16:16) Simon Peter answered: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
I once told a Pentecostal Pastor, "Without the Torah, the NewTestament is meaningless." He looked at me like I had a horn coming out of my head. Poor misguided souls.
Why would you follow the Torah of not by faith? What would be the point? First you believe in and hope for the fulfillment of God's promises. You're aligned with God and believe Him. That is faith. You have faith you can eat a ham sandwich. That's a legalistic mentality even in it's lawlessness.
That was excellent. I've been trying to keep Torah to the best of my ability for 9 years now and I literally never heard this teaching before. Thank you. This will help me witness to Christians.
If you look up The Torah Class with Tom Bradford here on UA-cam he goes into more depth. It is teaching I have not found surpassed anywhere. So many books he has covered but I would still suggest starting with Genesis.
micheleann3239 how exactly will this presentation help you witness to Christians.... When the man's first error, and I'm only 10mins in, is wrongly saying the Torah became flesh. Jesus as the Word of God, is and was always God. To equate Jesus to the Torah, is making the same error the Orthodoxy make when they claim the Torah is eternal. So my question to you is this: if you are presented with error, on several levels( I'm 100% sure he makes many more) how can you assume he is correct in way he is teaching you. And how do you explain Matthew 5: 11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me" If Jesus was teaching what the teachers of the Law taught why would his disciples face persecution...
@@MRFITTA Because the teachers you are speaking of were teaching tradition over the Torah. That's why they would be persecuted. They were attacked Jesus' disciples didn't wash their hands before they ate, a tradition. What was Jesus response to their attack?
@MRFITTA The word Torah means instructions. It's the first five books in the bible. The religious jews call their oral law book the Torah too. It's filled with traditions of men. That is what Jesus was up against in those days. Jesus walked out the Torah in every sense of the way. That's what it means when it says he fulfilled the law. He even said that he didn't come to do away with the law. We no longer need a temple so the sacrifice has ceased. But all the moral laws are still in effect. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. In the psalms you will be able to interpret what he means. It says your law is truth, your law is the way, and if you follow my instructions it will be life to you. So yes, Jesus was the living Torah.
@rodimuspm no they simply have faded and become to no effect due to crists completion of work on the cross. Christians follow the law of christ. Torahism isn't christianity. It denies the work on the cross, and is therefore heresy to christians.
@FiveNineO nothing wrong with following the mosaic law, but it wasn't given to gentiles and aside from culture it gains you nothing, since you cant follow it all...

His last words before ascension was to study the words of David & writings of Moses in Luke 24 :44 & Daniel. (Chapter 2:44) 2 take aways of Matt.24, being the Flood & be sure to pray that your flight benot on Sabbath or winter, is essentially drawn from Isa.24, where the words of Gen.7:11 , flood epic, are repeated. Etc. This time by Peters " fervent heat'.
@@brewstercox4714 my personal takeaway of Matthew 24 is that He's speaking of the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 ad. I definitely don't grasp the flood connection?
Jesus came to fulfill the OT scriptures specifically concercning the prophetic messianic message. Luke 4:16- "16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. 17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me [i]to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are [j]oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” 20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down. And the eyes of all who were in the synagogue were fixed on Him. 21 And He began to say to them, “Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.” .... Jesus is God's final prophet to bring the world out of darkness (ignorance) into the light (knowledge(gnosis)/truth/reality) and this is what is referred to as the Good News (gospel) of the Kingdom of God which is : our true Self (nature ) is Spirit/Existence/Consciousness/limitless Awareness. God's nature happens to be the same nature/essence of our own Spirit/Consciousness/Life. The Good news is that we have never been separated from God since his nature/essence happens to be our nature/essence. Separation from God is simply a notion or belief that has no truth or basis in reality....The kingdom of God is our true nature (spirit/consciousness/awareness) and that is why Jesus proclaimed "ye shall know the truth (I and my Father are One) and the truth shall set you FREE".....
Another scripture that He brought light to, that so many miss: But harm not the oil and the wine. When you read the old testament and Yah's instructions to cleanse the leper and others to enter the temple, they were to use OIL and to buy WINE with their offering monies they brought to the temple. Oil on the earlobe, and wine to celebrate the seventh day rest. The not harming was for the angels not to harm the followers of Yeshua.
Yahshua as the ultimate Pesach Lamb paid the ultimate penalty that have nullified the blood of animals. Therefore all animal acrifices were paid for by Yahshua's blood. We are now back under the Melchisedek Priesthood and in the absence of a Levitical Priesthood as well as the absence of a clean Temple there are no Temple law to keep.
The third temple is Christ, the body of Christ. The antichrist is trying to defile the third temple, the number of his name is 666: carbon has 6 electrons, 6 protons & 6 neutrons. Carbon is COAL, carbon based life forms not reborn in spirit only living physical lives. Trump loves COAL (carbon) & used his ‘warp speed’ to place genetics into the human body (the third temple). Trump won a ‘prince of peace’ menorah & ‘crown of Jerusalem’ silver crown award. He IS antichrist, he even said ‘I am like the second coming of God.’

JESUS taught the REVELATION of the "Torah" which was NOT "Revealed" before He came."For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17).So JESUS DID teach something "different", He taught the REVELATION OF GOD'S WORD, which is a "different" manifestation than the "seed" of God's Word on "scrolls' and "paper", which is NOT LIVING.
@@rhondahart2416 Yes, exactly, in 1st Corinthians 15:37, " and that which you sow, you sow not that body THAT SHALL BE". No, the Word of God made flesh isn't the scripture made flesh, there's a clear differentiation. Jesus is God's Word, that was spoken to the prophets, that was before time began and always was and will be- Christ was there. He is the Logos made flesh.. the Word and the Reason. Yeah, Yeshua is the living word from the heavenly Spirit who came into the world of flesh and taught from law and prophets. “every word of God is pure” so everything he said is pure. He represent multiple prophets and key figures in the “old testament” As long as you follow him in Spirit and in truth your doing the will of the Father. its different with paul .. i mean he says the law is done away with but paul still teaches a lot of what Jesus does to so i dont throw paul out.
Yeshua is the eternal moses. people shouldnt put moses in a pedestal… he is not thee Som of Yah. So Yeshuas law is spiritually more strengthened and severe. “He which searcheth the hearts and reins and will give to every man according to his works” -Yeshua. Moses never said this according to his own authority. Jesus is above moses by the distance from earth to heaven. Yeshua elevates and makes moses law pure and holy.

The Ethiopian version of Enoch calls Enoch the "Son of Man"... Yeshua would not have been calling Enoch the Messiah... There are numerous reasons that the Books of the Apocrypha were taken out of the Protestant Canon... They supported apostate and unbiblical doctrines of the Roman Catholic Church... To this day, they incite erroneous doctrines concerning Lunar Sabbaths, different calendars and "flat earth"... The Book of Enoch SUPPOSEDLY handed down to Noah IS NOT the one found in the cave... It is riddled with inaccuracies... When these extra-biblical books don't line up with canonized Scripture, people should not side against Scripture...

He taught Grace to the commandments... like the adultress caught in the act(John 8:7) and grace to the thief on the cross(luke 23:43)... and the prophet John tells us there is a big difference between HE and moses-->John 1:17 KJV - For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Grace was part of the OT as well. The "Law of Moses" contained grace for our transgressions as well. Moses and Jesus were both teaching from the Law, just focusing on different aspects of it... maybe... 🤷♂️🙏
Brother, you are probably unaware so I would like to let you know that there is NO "but" in the original John 1:17. The "but" was added by KJV editors. The Scripture really says, For the Torah was given through Mosheh (Moses) -- the favour (grace) and the truth (which is the Word/Torah) came through Yeshua (Jesus) Messiah. Do you see that when the KJV editors added "but" they intentionally put the Law (Torah/Word) and favour (grace) AGAINST one another? This is Not how Apostle John wrote the verse Nor is it the true Context of the verse. John was just stating that Moses was the brethren Prophet who was given the Torah (law) AND Yeshua (Jesus) The brethren Prophet likened unto Moses brought grace and the Word/Torah. ( See Deuteronomy 18:15-20 & Also see Peter's speech to his brethren in Acts 3:22-26). Again, please take a moment to Look at the verse -- the "but" is in italics, which MEANS that it was Not in the original & was added by the KJV editors. There are several other New Testament verses that have been twisted to mean the opposite (especially Apostle Paul's letters to the assemblies). You might also want to check out some other teachings about these things. I would like to suggest Bible Teacher, Tom Bradford, Seed of Abraham, Torah Class teachings about what our Jewish Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) really taught. My wife & I will be praying for your continued growth in Christ and for clarity to understand the Truth that is truly in the WORD (John 17:17, John 1:1-3, 1st Peter 1:23-25, & Ephesians 4:21) For the Truth will set you free & Is Yeshua (Jesus) in Everyone of His forms... Shalom
@@bawbjusbawb6471 well... just common sense tells us the law is a very different tool with a very different purpose. Paul tells us the law was given as a schoolmaster Gal 3: 24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. 25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. So we see faith in Christ is superior to the law of Moses.
@@davidcrane6593 Faith in Messiah goes hand in hand with the Laws of GOD... As Paul said in Romans 3:31 - Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law. Messiah IS the Law of GOD (commonly called the Law of Moses) John 1:1 -1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was with God in the beginning. A schoolmaster teaches you the basics... You don't do away with those basics after you leave school... You don't forget adding and subtracting when you learn Calculus... Messiah expanded on the Basics of the Law of GOD... Matthew 5:28 - But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 1 John 3:15 - Everyone who hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that eternal life does not reside in a murderer. Messiah taught us how to live in the Spirit of the Law... What do you think Jesus was teaching, if not His Father's Words? John 12:49 - I have not spoken on My own, but the Father who sent Me has commanded Me what to say and how to say it.
I'm not Paul Harvey, but here is the "Rest of the Story"... You really have to read this whole verse and know the background of the Torah to know the WHOLE story... It was not just a simple case of Jesus letting a sinner go free... That would have been justification for the Scribes and Pharisees to condemn Jesus according to the Laws of GOD... You see when you read John 8:6 - They said this TO TEST HIM, in order to have a basis for accusing Him. The scribes and Pharisees set up an illegal trial that was NOT done according to the Law of Moses... (It was a trap!) 1. The man also committing adultery was not present... 2. The witnesses of the act were not present... According to Leviticus 20:10 - If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife- with the wife of his neighbor- BOTH the adulterer and the adulteress must surely be put to death. When you read John 8:7 - When they continued to question Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone at her.” The witnesses of the crime were SUPPOSED to cast the first stone... (They weren't) According to Deuteronomy 17:6 and 7 - 6On the testimony of two or three witnesses a man shall be put to death, but he shall not be executed on the testimony of a lone witness. 7The hands of the witnesses shall be the first in putting him to death, and after that, the hands of all the people. So you must purge the evil from among you. This shows the witnesses were not present... At the end of this ordeal, Jesus told this woman 8:11 - “Then neither do I condemn you,” Jesus declared. “Now go and sin no more.”… By the Law of GOD, this woman COULD NOT be condemned because there were no witnesses and the man was not present... Thus an illegal trail the Scribes and Pharisees set up in order to condemn Jesus... IF it were a legal trial, then Jesus would not have let the woman go, else the Scribes and Pharisees WOULD have had something to condemn Jesus... Jesus as not only STILL keeping the Laws of GOD, but He was also RIGHTLY ruling and judging... The Laws may have been handed down by Moses, but they are GOD's Laws... (Jeremiah 31:31 -33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10)
Shalom. Your teaching appeared in my feed this morning and made me extremely late for work. I've subscribed. Looking forward to exploring the rest of your teachings. Shalom shalom.
There is a misunderstanding that I see about all this. Neither Jesus nor Paul preached that the Law should be abolished. God does not change, so whatever he said about not doing, still stands. The death of Jesus provided the means to implement the New covenant the Almighty promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34. Paul never abolished or taught that the Law of Moses was abolished. Romans 3:31.
He always said my Father. He pointed the WAY to the Father. Back to the Father. We are the lamb. He went to go get back that he left the 99 for. Oh thank you Father for the promise of your son. Just wow!!
I just started watching this and up to the 17:56 mark... you are doing my homework for me! And more! The Mennonites, who we have been fellowshipping with, believe that we only need to keep the commandments of Jesus as seen in Matt chapters 5 -7... well, it had become apparent to me just in the last year or two that Jesus was actually quoting (though not maybe directly) the Torah and the Prophets when He was laying forth that the religious leaders of His day were actually adding to His Father's Law or "loosening" it, looking for loopholes and adding to God's law as seen in the "oral law" in their day. As I started studying and reading Exodus - Deuteronomy, I heard the voice of Jesus in many of the "laws" besides the Ten Words/Commandments. This was indeed exciting to think that indeed, Jesus/Yeshua was upholding the commandments found in the Book of Moses and the Prophets that were attributed to our Heavenly Father.

" This was indeed exciting to think that indeed, Jesus/Yeshua was upholding the commandments found in the Book of Moses and the Prophets that were attributed to our Heavenly Father." All the more exciting it becomes once you realize that the Lawgiver, YeHoVaH, was actually the pre-incarnate Yeshua. We rightly divide the word of truth. We don't build our teaching of what the Christian faith is simply by reading the sayings of Christ before his death and resurrection and before the gospel went to the Gentiles in Acts. The mysteries and full understanding of what it means to us that Christ fulfilled the law, and the proper understanding of law and grace is spelled out specifically in the New Testament. If one can read through Romans, Galatians, and Hebrews, and come away believing in something similar to the Hebrew Roots perspective, would only do so by indoctrination based on false premises, but not on an objective use of hermeneutics and exegesis.
How about just a plain reading of the scripture without imposing your own ideology into it? If the law was going away, why didn't a single prophet speak of it? Amos 3:7
you want something spiritual to eat of… When paul said “rightly dividing the word of truth”. he was referring to what messiah said “take this(bread) and divide it among yourselves” He divided His word(him) among his apostles to later give to the twelves tribes spiritual). The holy ghost showed me this. no man taught me that revelation but by Jesus the messiah Spirit.
It has never been about the OT is deciphered and interpreted. Jesus is revealed in every book in the OT. The OT constantly reveals the coming Mesiah. Not some Jewish Mesiah. When you discover how Jesus was not a Jew but the true Son of God. Always read, study the Bible by asking His Holy Spirit to reveal scripture for your understanding.

@LiteralHitter The word "Jew" comes from "Judah" from the 12 tribes of ISREAL. Christ bloodline comes from the tribe of JUDAH. ISREAL ARE THE REAL JEWS. Hello, I just discovered your channel and in the process of watching/listening to this teaching. Thanks for putting this out ! I will continue to watch your teachings. PS I pray the Paulinians will come around…
The transition was on for the NEW COVENANT. We obey all His commandments in the new covenant and everything He speaks to us personally. His apostles taught the new covenant. CHRIST formed in us the Hope of Glory. Apostle Paul was obssessed with CHRIST.
Only the commands in the New Covenant?! Beastiality, kidnapping, etc are all ok? This isn't an accurate portrayal of the true New Covenant with Yeshua as our high priest Jer 31:31-33, Ezek 36:26-27. Yeshua didn't come with new doctrine, but to do the will of His father. Maybe I'm misunderstanding your wording and phrases?
And how do we define and understand the two commandments?? We go back to the WORD which was in the beginning to define the processes. The instructions that YAHUAH gave Moses are the SAME instructions we are supposed to live by today.
The New Covenant is found written in the 'Old Testament' (Jer 31 & Eze 36) and involves the Torah written on the heart so that we will do and obey His Choqim and Mishpatim, literally the Laws of Moshe!

Isaiah 53:5 - But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Galatians 6:2 - Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. Psalms 40:6-8 - Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Yep.. going through this right now with a group that has the Holy Spirit but has strayed back to the Law, and are now telling new believers we are "commanded to keep the festivals" in order to be in right standing with God. Someone should have told that to Peter I suppose, after Paul pointed out that he had stopped observing them and was living 'as a gentile'. The doctrine of demons is spreading, to cause those to fall away from the mercy & grace that Christ ushered in and the Holy Spirit's leading, in favor of the predictability and routine of the Law.
He abolished nothing.. if he did then he could not be Messiah . he promoted and Kept ALL of Torah and promoted the Oral Torah as well .. 80% of Yeshua's teachings are from the Oral Torah ,, most christians just don't know this cause they are ignorant of the Talmud and oral Torah .. most the words in Red in your bible are the same words written from the oral Torah by the Rabbis

No one was saved in the Old Testament by obeying the law! They were all sinners who fell short! That is why the lamb sacrifice was put into place way before Torah was even written! Abel is the first recorded who sacrificed a lamb. The punishment they deserved was placed on the lamb. Moses clarifies in Leviticus 1 that it is an atonement for you. John 1, Jesus is referred to as the lamb of God, who takes away the sins of the world. Jesus said 'Whoever believes in him, shall not perish, but have everlasting life!' Much of what is in the Levitical law, such as the tabernacle, were symbolic of Jesus.

The purpose of the Holy Spirit is outlined in the New Covenant, found in Jeremiah 31-33 and Ezekiel 36. It is to cause us to walk in the Statutes and to obey the Commandments, to allow us to be His people and Him to be our God. I might suggest you go read these Chapters.

He clarified the purpose of the law, and indeed made us free. People use to be stoned for their sins, Jesus says he who is without sin cast the first stone. People believed in an eye for an eye, but Jesus says vengeance is his and to love your neighbor as he loved us. People thought following the law gets you to Heaven, but it is through Christ’s work on the cross alone are we saved. That last one is a big deal because they didn’t recognize Jesus was the true son of God while he was here. Sure Jesus taught from the Old Testament, there wasnt a New Testament until after he was gone. The Old Testament and 10 commandments are from God and show how to prolong your life but the New Testament is from God to Jesus and shows us how to have salvation and eternal life which is through belief in Jesus only who did the work for that for us. Christ said whoever tells others to not keep the commandments will be least in the Kingdom of Heaven, but the fact is that they are still in the Kingdom of Heaven. That is freedom from the burden of the Law, but it still stands for righteousness sake.
If you really believe that then why are you following him . GOD only sees two people , Obedient or disobedient Sons of man or sons of GOD Why call GOD FATHER if you are trying to be one of HIS sons . I found this by accident, and enjoyed this message. The main problem in the body is the same as it has always been, from Adam's time, through national Israel, and into "the church." Most would rather do what is right in their own eyes, rather than what is right in Yah's eyes. They will take the most clear-cut, unambiguous scriptures and twist them to further their own agenda, rather than Yahuwah's agenda. They will convince themselves they have submitted their will to Elohim, while making any excuse to do their own pleasures, rather than that which brings Yahuwah pleasure. It's the spirit of lawlessness, and this, I believe, is why Yeshua/Yahushua said only those who Abba calls are able to understand His message. Until one is willing to sacrifice their own will to fulfill the will of the Creator, and truly seeks to please Yahuwah, the natural inclination of the flesh is to abhor what Yah loves and love what He hates. I have subscribed. Shalom from TX.
Here's another one I would question: Mat 5:28, “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart." Where is that in the OT? I think the problem here is the "taught nothing but" phrase in the title of the video is an overstatement. It may be that just about everything Jesus taught is in some way in an embryonic form in the OT, but it isn't all exactly OT teaching. You might say nothing He taught was contrary to OT teaching, properly understood as applying to Old Covenant Israel, but I think that's about the strongest statement you can legitimately make.
All you have given in your comment was your opinion. Don't give opinions, rather give facts from scripture just like the Teacher in this presentation did. Tired of opinions, just want facts from scripture. Opinions are weak and best, stick to the facts from the Scriptures. Please don't get swayed by the beliefs of most Christians, rather follow the scriptures.
“You have heard it said, but I say…” OT/Torah divorce and sermon-on-the-mount divorce are wholesale different and constitute an actual change. You can rationalize your way into anything if you try hard enough. This video is proof of that.
@@findingtheancientpath your comment reveals you believe that the collection of Commandments called the law is somehow a party of the God head. God does not change. The law is not God. God can change his law according to his good and perfect will. Don’t ignore my comment on divorce. Engage with it in your mind and think deeply on its implications.
@@findingtheancientpath I agree with you-God is unchanging. This is not the issue at hand. The Creator(God)=Unchanging. The Creation(Law)=Changeable by the Creator. The Gospel of Matthew is not written to the Church. Jesus says in Matthew 16:18 (...I will build My Church...), the Church has not started yet. The Church was a Mystery= Ephesians 5:32 No body knew about the Church before His death, which is the body of Christ.
I encourage to dig into Acts 7:38 which says "“This is he who was in the [e]congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us" Do you see that little [e] next to the word "congregation"? Shalom. Thank you for the blessing. I just recently started a blog and one of the subjects I plan to write about is Yeshua in his cultural context and how Christian churches lack teaching this. We cannot examine Jesus without a firm understanding of who He is and the roots of His faith/teachings which is indisputably the Tanakh. I see the beatitudes as the commandments with wisdom. He added a depth to them that his audience had not previously considered. I hope you don't mind if I make credited reference to your series at some point in my blog.
100% historical fact... The Torah and The Prophets were all that were available to Jesus... Now, COULD Jesus use The New Testament writings by time jumping into the future and back, like Doctor Who? SURE, He's Jesus!!! But scripture doesn't support a Time moving Telephone Boothe or a hot DeLorean.
yet christ only refers to “the father”. never yahweh, never jahovah… only “father”. why because christ is forgiveness, truth and light. yahweh is obviously not of these traits. he is of vengeance, deception, suffering, plagues and yes.. child sacrifice. “the father” is not yahweh. the gnostics understood this and preached so ultimately had to be killed by rome. unlike 99% percent of christians i know, i have actually READ the bible… most only know jesus’ greatest hits as preached on sunday. be honest fellow christian have you actually read your bible? come at me w your consternation… ive got all the receipts.
Why would it take you over an hour to explain that the only scripture that existed when Jesus taught was the Torah. Jesus also preached Sermons. The beatitudes, the sermon on the mount. What the Kingdom of God is like. He taught that the Old Testament testifies of Him.
The laws in deut are from yhwh and Jesus new that no one could uphold them so no one could be saved by these laws .. now the 10 commandments are easy and are put on our hearts the moral law
Jesus came for all. The new testament is the new covenant established for all who believe in him for his sacrifice made it so for gentiles to have salvation. The old testament is for the Abrahams people. Today, if you believe in Christ and accept him you have salvation. We must repent! The Sabbath was made for man not the other way around. He is the new covenant.

And the higher ups in the churches who did weren’t correcting the mangled syntax - and whenever we have variations in the actual vocabulary & syntax of awkward Greek words placed into the mouth of a Greek speaking ‘ho Iesous’ (hint: R. Yehoshua bar Yosef the Galilean Nazir [c. BCE 13/12 to Pesach 36 CE] aka ‘Jesus’ didn’t speak Greek but a western Aramaic dialect cognate with Syriac…) it is a ‘red-flag’ for scholars that something theologically difficult is afoot … which might account for the various scribal attempts by ancient copyists to ‘adjust the Greek texts in front of them into something more in line with what passed for ‘orthodoxy’ in their own time and place… Long story short, it is incumbent upon we moderns to-day to at least TRY to make attempts to reconstruct ‘the original sayings’ (‘ipsissima verba’) of ‘Jesus’ that had been mutilated / so badly translated / into a foreign ‘gentile’ language before ‘settling’ in the oral stages of the tradition - then placed into his mouth in the narratives that were not written down until some 50 years after the event in the contradictory text copies (of the roughly 5,446 mss of the New Testament, no two hand copied manuscripts are exactly alike) that we read (and examine forensically) to-day… Your translation-understanding of this theologically difficult & gramatically awkward Markan text does not hold water when you compare it to other awkward Greek texts in the New Testament - e.g. see Rev 22:9 when the glowing figure of ‘Jesus the spawn of the lineage of David, even Lucifer the bright star of the morning’ appears in a vision to ‘Yohanon of Patmos’ (whoever he was-the writer’s Greek is so kludgy & grammatically impossible throughout the mangled text of ‘revelation’ he couldn’t have possibly been the same as the educated Alexandrian Greek author of the 3 epistles and the 4th gospel (‘Yohanon the Presbuteros’ = ‘John the Elder’ whoever he was…) ‘Now it was I Yohanon who ‘heard and also saw’ all of these things in my visions - and after ‘I had heard and seen’ all of these things, I immediately fell to my knees in order to make obeisance and to worship the one who had shewed me them-but ‘the one who was standing next to me’ (English versions typically say ‘messenger’ or ‘Angel’) rebuked me firmly saying to me, ‘Yohanon, Get up on yo your feet at once ! Don’t you ever do that ! For I am no more than a fellow servant of the most high like yourself who has obeyed all the commandments contained in the scroll [of Moses]-which commands Yisro’el to worship YHWH alone and no other !’ These ‘earliest recensions’ of the words of Jesus in the NT seem to indicate that Jesus was not to be ‘worshipped as a god’ say the way the Divine Roman Emperors like Nero (whose end-of-reign c. 68/69 CE during the height of the 1st failed Jewish war against Rome (66-74 CE) when the ApocYoh. (‘Apocalypse of Yohanon’ aka ‘Book of Revelation’ NB in the singular) was written in order ‘to give hope to the Zionist freedom fighters against the Kittim (= GrecoRoman occupation since 63 BCE; cf 1QM (‘the War Scroll’ which perform’d the same function for the warrior-priests at Qumran) … The identification of the Meshia’q Yisro’el (the Messiah) with Daniel’s semi-divine Bar Enasha (7:13-28) is a subject for another thread - but during the ‘historical lifetime of Jesus (c. 13/12 BCE to 36 CE) such an identification of ‘divinity’ was unknown - only after the 1st failed Jewish war against Rome ground Judah to powder including the destruction of the 2nd Temple of Herod in Jerusalem) when ‘all the many Christianities began promulgating all around the empire first among Jewish messianists who only worshipped the one god YHWH, then later more successfully among non-Jews in all the various ‘Greek speaking Gentile-friendly-Pauline Christianities’ which sprang up outside of Palestine (and therefore survived the War to ‘propagate a Greek speaking Iesous’ - a failed war which wiped out Jesus’ Daviddic family & nearly all of the original disciples killing nearly a million Aramaic speaking Judaeans according to eyewitnesses like Josephus etal.) - so for modern ‘Pauline’ Christians to-day to try and read these altered & late Greek texts as ‘what Jesus really said’ would be basically ignoring the difficult state of the mangled copies of very ver late Greek texts that have managed to survive in the Greek that exists in contradictory piles of inconsistent hand copied manuscripts we now have in front of us…to try and sort out ! With much respect I disagree with you. If someone didn’t have access to the OT scriptures but heard or read Jesus’ teachings, believes them and lives by his words in obedience to them….isn’t that what he tells us to do? The OT scriptures testify of Jesus; but knowing them does nothing if we do not personally come to know the person they speak of. John 5:39”you search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life, they testify of me. But you’re not willing to come to me. @christinegruber3533 - Exactly ! This is one of the reasons why the Jews did not "recognize" their Messiah Jesus, because all they had ever known was the Word of God on "scrolls" or "paper" which is NOT LIVING, but is only in "seed" form (Luke 8:11). Jesus is the LIVING WORD, come to Life in "Revelation" or "Harvest" form, which is a COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MANIFESTATION than the "seed", which they had NEVER seen or experienced before.
@@menmustchangebeforekingdoms They looked for Christ the King, to take them out from Roman rule. (hard to blame them) But that version is coming the second time around.
@@seamusoraghaillach6973 Exactly, great observation. Which is another reason WHY they did not recognize Him. Because they did not have understanding of the "Revelation" of God's Word, or God's "interpretation" of His Own WORD, which is, BEFORE you can have REAL "Natural Earthly Deliverance", there must be a a spiritual "deliverance" IN THE HEART FIRST, which unfortunately is why Israel wanted to 'return to Egypt" AFTER they were "delivered" in the "natural" realm, God NOT having done the "work' in their "heart" FIRST, which would not come until the New Covenant was established.

[24] Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days." OR Luke 24:25 KJV "Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken"
Jesus our Saviour fulfilled all the O.T. sacrificial system by coming to BE that Ultimate Sacrifice, thus completing the need for the old and bringing us into the new. Hence the New Testament, proclaiming Yeshua as the One spoken of by the Prophets. The jewish world wont get it until He returns.

The divider page between the New and Old Testament was placed by man. The Bible is a book to be read from Genesis to Revelation. Reading parts of it causes nothing but confusion
@@Hajipapa-n5xyou are so very confused, my friend. The new testament contains the gospels which is a record of Jesus' direct teachings and the rest of the new testament was written by His followers as led by the Holy Spirit.
He was born under the law and spoke as such, but after his resurrection everything changed, the law was fulfilled. The law was a written snapshot of what righteousness was. After the resurrection the righteousness came to live inside each one of us. WE are the temple of God. We are the living stones. We became his righteousness. The Old Testament was God introducing himself to mankind externally, the New Testament took it furthur, he now lives in us. We are as righteous as we will ever be. It is finished.
Jesus rebuked rabbinic Judaism and called them back to the scriptures. But Jesus is actually taking it a step further, he is revealing his knowledge of the original law before Moses like in Matt.19:8. When Jesus is teaching in Matt. 5:31-32 he’s explaining a detail that Moses didn’t teach in Deut. 24:1-5. Originally two people married should not separate as marriage is a reflection of our relationship with God. But moses permitted it knowing the hardness of the peoples hearts. Moses and others tried to explain when they said things like follow the law from your hearts or even some of these other places you are pointing out in proverbs. Again we are getting the fuller original explanation from Jesus of what God and the Holy Spirit has been calling them to. And that’s why love and forgiveness is harped on more than anything in the New Testament, that was/is the foundation of Gods way.
That is completely true. Jesus taught nothing but the Torah and Old Testament. And while He walk the earth this is what had been revealed. But once Christ brought an end to sin He raised up Paul with progressive revelation.
Isaiah 42:1 "Here is My Servant, whom I uphold, My Chosen One, in whom My soul delights. YOU are My witnesses,” declares Yahovah, “and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may consider and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me no god was formed, and after Me none will come.... 11I, yes I, am Yahovah, and there is no Savior but Me. 12I ALONE decreed and saved and proclaimed- I, and not some foreign god among you. So you are My witnesses,” declares Yahovah, “that I am God. 13Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. ( and jesus answered, why do you call me good; there is only one good and that is God!) Isaiah 49 1Listen to Me, O islands;a pay attention, O distant peoples: Yahovah called ME from the womb; from the body of My mother He named ME. 2He made My mouth like a sharp sword; He hid ME in the shadow of His hand. He made ME like a polished arrow; He hid ME in His quiver. 3He said to ME, “You are My Servant, ISRAEL, in whom I will display My glory.”.... 5And now says Yahovah, who formed ME from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob back to Him, that Israel might be gathered to Him- for I am honored in the sight of Yahovah, and My God is My strength- 6He says: “It is not enough for You to be My Servant, to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the protected ones of Israel. I will also make You a light for the nations, to bring My salvation to the ends of the earth.”b Isaiah 50:10 Who among you fears Yahovah and obeys the voice of His Servant ( Israel)? Who among you walks in darkness and has no light? Let him trust in the name of Yahovah; let him lean on his ( Israels) God.

They need our prayers because although Yeshua /YaHWeH called them fools, they still continue to pray for our destruction three times a day! From South Africa, with love!
The main reason Jesus taught the Old Testament was because the Pharisees twisted the scriptures so terribly that He had to peel off the layers and layers of misinterpretation to get back to the rock hard scriptures that they lost through their traditions and misinterpretations. If you are making a case that we as followers of Christ Jesus must only deal with those scriptures you are mistaken. There was other major mysteries that God revealed later through the Pauline Corpus, like Colossians 1: 27 "To whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." (NASB 1972 ed.). That is a mystery that Jews would do well to emphasize if they are Messianic. Also, that the gentiles become children of Abraham through saving faith. That was something that some of the Jews in Jesus day didn't possess which was the circumcision of the heart. Even Moses in the Torah told the people to have that experience Deuteronomy 10: 15 "Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked." (KJV). Moses and all of the O.T. prophets had that experience as well as David King of Israel.
Great teaching brother. Thank you for the work you've put in. @ 41:17 I will say that a more direct explanation of Jesus teaching in Matt 5:27-28 is that He was teaching two commands. 1: You shall not commit adultery (taking another man's woman) - Exodus 20:14 2: You shall not covet (lust after) your neighbor's woman (*that adultery with her, in your heart) - Exodus 20:17 The proverbs verses apply as well, but there's a lot of misunderstanding in Christendom surrounding this verse, and it is almost exclusively used to bludgeon Christian men for having natural God given sexual desire for the woman. I have heard it said that a man who lusts after his own wife is committing adultery. I've heard it said a single man lusting after (coveting, strong desire) a woman to be his wife is adultery. All from this one mistranslation and false teaching. It is not sinful to covet, or strongly desire, a marriageable woman, specifically, a woman who is not bound to another man. The martial "status" of the man, is irrelevant, the marital status of the woman is always relevant. Adultery requires a married woman. If a man has a woman (wife) already, and covets another wife, there's no sin unless the object of that coveting is a woman who belongs to another man. If a man takes another woman to himself (Exodus 21:10) as long as she is not a bound woman, he doesn't commit adultery, he has another wife. So a man cannot commit adultery in "his heart" unless that adultery is possible in the physical. We must understand biblical adultery first, and then go from there on all the teachings related to it, many of us, myself included for a long time, define adultery using worldly definitions, and then try to interpret God's word with it, causing all sorts of errors. God Bless.
He came to ratify the old covenant. He divorced northern Israel(not the people over in Palestine) whom He married at Mt. Sinai. A husband can not take back an adulterous wife lawfully hence the reason He had to die on the cross so He could take back His bride and ratify the new covenant with His own blood! I highly recommend looking into E. Raymond Capp’s work. 🙏🏼

Well yeh the new testament had not been written yet so he was an old testament scholar

If you look up The Torah Class with Tom Bradford here on UA-cam he goes into more depth. It is teaching I have not found surpassed anywhere. So many books he has covered but I would still suggest starting with Genesis.

And how do you explain Matthew 5: 11 "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me"
If Jesus was teaching what the teachers of the Law taught why would his disciples face persecution...
You don't understand who Jesus is. He is the fulfillment of the law and prophets thus its its all within his teachings, but he is more than that.
The laws and Commandments haven't gone anywhere.
@rodimuspm no they simply have faded and become to no effect due to crists completion of work on the cross. Christians follow the law of christ.

And when He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written:
18
“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He has anointed Me
To preach the gospel to the poor;
He has sent Me [i]to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set at liberty those who are [j]oppressed;
19
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
20 Then He closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant and sat down.

@@bawbjusbawb6471 well... just common sense tells us the law is a very different tool with a very different purpose. Paul tells us the law was given as a schoolmaster
Gal 3:
24Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
So we see faith in Christ is superior to the law of Moses.
@@davidcrane6593
Faith in Messiah goes hand in hand with the Laws of GOD...
As Paul said in Romans 3:31 - Do we, then, nullify the law by this faith? Certainly not! Instead, we uphold the law.
Messiah IS the Law of GOD (commonly called the Law of Moses)
John 1:1 -1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
(It was a trap!)
1. The man also committing adultery was not present...
2. The witnesses of the act were not present...
According to Leviticus 20:10 - If a man commits adultery with another man’s wife- with the wife of his neighbor- BOTH the adulterer and the adulteress must surely be put to death.
When you read John 8:7 - When they continued to question Him, He straightened up and said to them, “Let him who is without sin among you be the first to cast a stone at her.”
The witnesses of the crime were SUPPOSED to cast the first stone... (They weren't)
According to Deuteronomy 17:6 and 7 - 6On the testimony of two or three witnesses a man shall be put to death, but he shall not be executed on the testimony of a lone witness.
“Now go and sin no more.”…
By the Law of GOD, this woman COULD NOT be condemned because there were no witnesses and the man was not present...
(Jeremiah 31:31 -33 and Hebrews 8:8 through 10)
He laid the constitution for his kingdom and came to be a ransom for all to be testified in due time.

Homework? Do tell! 🙂

Amos 3:7

No. Read the word as it is, even if it's small like Israel, my people.

@@MrMurfle I answer that in the video
All you have given in your comment was your opinion. Don't give opinions, rather give facts from scripture just like the Teacher in this presentation did. Tired of opinions, just want facts from scripture. Opinions are weak and best, stick to the facts from the Scriptures.
Please don't get swayed by the beliefs of most Christians, rather follow the scriptures.

@@tyler2mor 7 times in scripture it says that God does not change. Yet you're convinced He does. Who is not engaging their mind?
@@findingtheancientpath I agree with you-God is unchanging. This is not the issue at hand.
The Creator(God)=Unchanging.
The Creation(Law)=Changeable by the Creator.
I was not accusing you (or anyone) of not engaging their minds. I’m simply suggesting you focus on a specific point and dwell on it in your mind-as opposed to dismissing it as unimportant.
Everyone here is using their minds given them by God. But not being God ourselves, we must selectively pick and choose what to dwell on. I am encouraging you to dwell on the relevant scriptures concerning divorce in the OT and the NT and consider their implications to the matter we are discussing.
@@tyler2mor and when Jesus Himself says the law is not going away? Whataya do with that? Whataya do with the fact that the sabbath and festivals will be observed in the afterlife? You see Tyler, it’s not just one or two things. It’s everywhere in the Bible.
The Gospel of Matthew is not written to the Church. Jesus says in Matthew 16:18 (...I will build My Church...), the Church has not started yet. The Church was a Mystery= Ephesians 5:32
No body knew about the Church before His death, which is the body of Christ.

Not at all 🙂
100% historical fact...

The old testament is for the Abrahams people. Today, if you believe in Christ and accept him you have salvation. We must repent! The Sabbath was made for man not the other way around. He is the new covenant.

@@rhondahart2416 - the Rabinnic Galilean Aramaic phraseology of the most primitive version of the difficult saying in Mark 10:18 reads something like (with no two copies of the 238 hand-copies of Greek ‘Mark’ being exactly the same !)
‘Man, how on earth could you ever refer to the barEnasha (‘son of man’ see AramDan 7:13ff) as ‘Tov’ (‘good’) when there is only ONE that is ‘Tov’-even the holy one of Yisroel ?’
And this more original-primitive form of this difficult ‘Torah abiding’ (I.e. anti Pauline) passage placed into the mouth of a ‘Greek speaking Iesous’ does not seem to fit your ‘high Christology’ which really took off in certain Christianities in the Roman Empire (who worshipped the divine Roman emperors as ‘gods’ or they were fed to the lions !) after 110 CE …
So take some time to look up all the parallel versions of this difficult saying in Greek in the synoptic gospels (in English if that’s all you can read) then you would be able to compare & contrast all the clumsy incoherent syntax of the canonical synoptic gospel versions of this saying - the wording of which in Greek is awkward and DO NOT MATCH each other very closely
‘The gospel according to Matthew’ (whoever he was…) has e.g. in Matt 19:17
‘’Man, why do you ask me about that which pertains to the good, when there is only ONE who is good?’
the re-wording in later iterations of this awkward saying in Matthew’s Greek (for Pauline Christians at least !) just goes to shew that the postJewish War (66-74 CE) Christians living in the diaspora did not understand Rabinnic phraseology - and had a much ‘higher christology allign’d with Paul’s warped Weltanschauung- a man who never ever once met ‘Jesus’ in the flesh-only in dreams & visions like my gardener who regularly ‘sees’ the ‘Holy Virgin’ in his morning-toast !)
BCE 13/12 to Pesach 36 CE] aka ‘Jesus’ didn’t speak Greek but a western Aramaic dialect cognate with Syriac…) it is a ‘red-flag’ for scholars that something theologically difficult is afoot … which might account for the various scribal attempts by ancient copyists to ‘adjust the Greek texts in front of them into something more in line with what passed for ‘orthodoxy’ in their own time and place…
Long story short, it is incumbent upon we moderns to-day to at least TRY to make attempts to reconstruct ‘the original sayings’ (‘ipsissima verba’) of ‘Jesus’ that had been mutilated / so badly translated / into a foreign ‘gentile’ language before ‘settling’ in the oral stages of the tradition - then placed into his mouth in the narratives that were not written down until some 50 years after the event in the contradictory text copies (of the roughly 5,446 mss of the New Testament, no two hand copied manuscripts are exactly alike) that we read (and examine forensically) to-day…
Your translation-understanding of this theologically difficult & gramatically awkward Markan text does not hold water when you compare it to other awkward Greek texts in the New Testament - e.g. see Rev 22:9 when the glowing figure of ‘Jesus the spawn of the lineage of David, even Lucifer the bright star of the morning’ appears in a vision to ‘Yohanon of Patmos’ (whoever he was-the writer’s Greek is so kludgy & grammatically impossible throughout the mangled text of ‘revelation’ he couldn’t have possibly been the same as the educated Alexandrian Greek author of the 3 epistles and the 4th gospel (‘Yohanon the Presbuteros’ = ‘John the Elder’ whoever he was…)
‘Now it was I Yohanon who ‘heard and also saw’ all of these things in my visions - and after ‘I had heard and seen’ all of these things, I immediately fell to my knees in order to make obeisance and to worship the one who had shewed me them-but ‘the one who was standing next to me’ (English versions typically say ‘messenger’ or ‘Angel’) rebuked me firmly saying to me, ‘Yohanon, Get up on yo your feet at once ! Don’t you ever do that ! For I am no more than a fellow servant of the most high like yourself who has obeyed all the commandments contained in the scroll [of Moses]-which commands Yisro’el to worship YHWH alone and no other !’
These ‘earliest recensions’ of the words of Jesus in the NT seem to indicate that Jesus was not to be ‘worshipped as a god’ say the way the Divine Roman Emperors like Nero (whose end-of-reign c. 68/69 CE during the height of the 1st failed Jewish war against Rome (66-74 CE) when the ApocYoh. (‘Apocalypse of Yohanon’ aka ‘Book of Revelation’ NB in the singular) was written in order ‘to give hope to the Zionist freedom fighters against the Kittim (= GrecoRoman occupation since 63 BCE; cf 1QM (‘the War Scroll’ which perform’d the same function for the warrior-priests at Qumran) …
The identification of the Meshia’q Yisro’el (the Messiah) with Daniel’s semi-divine Bar Enasha (7:13-28) is a subject for another thread - but during the ‘historical lifetime of Jesus (c.
I imagine a lot of this information must be new to you - but re-read my posts very very very carefully a few times so you can get a rough idea of what I am trying to explain ! LoL
Hebrew 1 “God in time past and in different ways spoke to the fathers by prophets, in these last days have spoken to us by his Son.

Thank you so much for this teaching.
The 'salt' makes the earth that the serpent eats more palatable. Jesus perspective was that evil can manage itself. Let the 'dead' bury the dead. Avoid it like Job, and know as Joseph demonstrated that it can be 'used' for 'good'.

Thank you brother! The New Testament wasn't written yet. Of course Jesus taught Torah and the prophets. And all prophets spoke of Jesus according to Acts 3:23-24 KJV
"And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people. [24] Yea, and all the prophets from Samuel and those that follow after, as many as have spoken, have likewise foretold of these days."
Plus, in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, Abraham is telling the rich man:
Luke 16:31 KJV
"And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." OR
Luke 24:25 KJV
"Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken"
Duh, the New Testament wasn't available in Jesus time. Jesus and the Father are one, you cannot have one without the other.
He taught the torah the new testament is not applicable to his followers they have to follow the laws wether they like it or not
Don't worry about the Jews. Worry about the rest of the world. Isn't that why you worry. Or is it the snake ready to swallow. That is the question, because I don't like the marks.
The Messiah said..."All, as much as you have, sell, and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in the heavens, and come, follow me."
That is completely true. Jesus taught nothing but the Torah and Old Testament. And while He walk the earth this is what had been revealed. But once Christ brought an end to sin He raised up Paul with progressive revelation.

and to restore the protected ones of Israel.
I will also make You a light for the nations,

A song I loved so dearly since 1972, even though I do not comprehend its meaning at all
Thank you, just ordered your book too
Thank you!
Great teaching brother. Thank you for the work you've put in. @ 41:17 I will say that a more direct explanation of Jesus teaching in Matt 5:27-28 is that He was teaching two commands.
1: You shall not commit adultery (taking another man's woman) - Exodus 20:14
2: You shall not covet (lust after) your neighbor's woman (*that adultery with her, in your heart) - Exodus 20:17
The proverbs verses apply as well, but there's a lot of misunderstanding in Christendom surrounding this verse, and it is almost exclusively used to bludgeon Christian men for having natural God given sexual desire for the woman.
God Bless.
Jeremiah 31:31-34 = Hebrews 7:11-12 = Matthew 5:44 = John 13:34 = John 15:12 = Galatians 5:22 = 1 Corinthians 13.

Excellent!, thank you.
