Brilliant video, Tom - in this you really cover ALL aspects. This video is the very best you have ever made - it is a primer for all your wage slavery videos and should be highlighted as such!
im a school bus driver and during the shutdown with the online learning💻, and the coming driverless vehicles, i realized it's time to re-educate myself, so i started putting whatever extra money and time i have towards try, learn, fail, try again. so far i've taught myself a little bit of programming and recently purchased a regrow food kit for beginners and with much trial and error, regrew navy beans and garlic🧄 so far, and sometime after the new year i'll slowly began to purchase what i need to start teaching myself a little bit of carpentry, because like you keep saying in your videos, we need more of a purpose than money and work, and another thing is with the automation increase😱, and whatever else is coming down the line, time to start making long term changes is now.
These are precious advices not taught in schools & not even understood by a large number of people in our society. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about money although they're just a new spin to what others in 'financial freedom' & 'escape from wage slavery' genre gurus had been drumming up for quite a while in recent years. I like your way presenting it in piecemeal and understandable fashion. You also don't ulteriorly position a product or a course on how to attain the kind of freedom you advocate like the others who opputunistically exploit the desperation and eagerness of those who want to find freedom from the grips of wage slavery & escape the rat race.
Really appreciate it. Your comment just made my day. :) I dont have a course or book on the topic. Its possible some day in the future. But honestly i dont feel confortable with it. Because it would feel like im making content for commersial reasons. If i ever do pitch my course it would be about something different. Thats the only way I could do it. I hope to inspire and motivate people, but I defintly dont want to channel viewers to courses and digital products.
I do agree with most things. However, when it comes to investing and picking your own separate stocks you need to know what you’re doing, and studies have shown time and time again that just investing in a broad index-funds beats most investors how picks there own stocks. I’m tired of people thinking that they’re so much smarter than professionals, when it comes to investing. Always trying to beat the market and at the end losing money!
I agree, Index funds are the safest bet. And on the stock market I only pick index funds. BUT, when because I think stock is boring. But when it comes to crypto I know what i'm doing, and I play very agressive or offensive. and that has given me a LOT more gains than playing it safe. I have made a video about it, called "1000x Crypto investments To Escape Wage Slavery". yes, its a bit of a click bait title. but its really good. you should check it out.
of course they don't, they make money off you as a slave, they want you trapped forever, if you want to be different than all the sheep out there you have to take financial risks! most people have a fear of losing. get past this and you'll be better off than most.
They don't, ever heard of property gains tax? In my state if you pay off your home and try to sell it before the age of 65 you must use the money to purchase a new home or you pay like 20% of the value of the home in property gains tax.
I’m 41 and just about to start my own business after 15 years of being a wage slave. I won’t invest in stocks etc as I can’t control well enough where the money goes and I don’t want to invest in the global corporations that I despise.
After what they the jewish powers did in 2011 they can all go to Hell They will do it again. My brother paid off his first house and uses it as an Airbnb he makes over $5000 a month it pays the mortgage on his second house he bought

I thought I was already subbed! lol #newsub but I’ve been listening for a few months :3 There’s such cognitive dissonance with people where there’s an innate desire for financial freedom but the programming says “you shouldn’t want that” which is effective at keeping people stuck as wage slaves. I struggled for a while with “disappointing” my parents or society or whatever bc I am building a business around my creative passions vs using my law degree that everyone pushed me to get thinking that would = success. It more just made me a lot of student loan debt, tho I don’t regret challenging myself and my potential and I use everything I learned about law and policy to create realistic world building in my novels (crescent crown saga). I wrote a song a while ago called “commodity” which my band Frailin’ Hearts played last year at Lincoln Exposed and people LOVED IT - I couldn’t believe the audience feedback bc we’re sick and tired of being treated like commodities instead of like human beings!

Wage slavery? Chuckle. I worked more than I had to, spent less than I earned and invested for a planned and comfortable retirement. I play the bonus round very much on my terms. It is 4th. grade arithmetic. Empty pockets are a choice.
@1Skeptik1 If you have passive income you are harvesting those that came after you. If you invested in a 401k or stocks you have contributed to the inflation and offshoring that has left your nation destabilized and invaded by hostile aliens. If you have built a business empire by your own sweat, it was done by not paying others their due -- at best you can say that if you hadn't done so someone else would. Your retirement is funded by having sold an ethical life and the future of your nation to the highest bidder.
