Because if you break one of those off in the bolt you’re next step is pretty much a welder. You won’t drill that back out unless you wanna go through 100 bits and be there for 2 days
It is, almost not enough bite to surface area. I’ve hammered in torx bits and been able to it like that, since fasteners that small “shouldn’t be” that tight it works. I quote shouldn’t be, but idiots with impacts never learned a torque spec.
everyone watch the very begging of the video , he tightens the bolt and breaks it off, the socket spins clockwise when it snaps off , not a a seized bolt ,
They cut the bolt 3/4 of the way through, then when it bottomed out the torque snapped the remaining section off, inside the hole. You can see the cut off disc marks it on “broken” bolt face. Not the fakest of demonstration videos, by far, but no it’s not a 20 year old bimetal seized fastener either. 5/10 for integrity.
Yep, just snapped off the removal tool. Blee thru 30 bits drilling it then the engine block flange snapped when i used another one. That git the bolt out anyway. Damn 2011 Ford Fusion Belt Tensioner Bolt.
I have the same extractor set. I used my impact and it broke the bit inside the bolt. I ended up having to use a hackzall and cut the bolt off. Which made it 10x more harder
@kotonarimasu6597 can't use a breaker bar in my scenario. No space to fit. But you're not listening to what I said. I did almost exactly everything to a T. Just like the video. And it broke. That's the problem.
😅 you saying that the steel plate is more rustier and older than actual bolt inside it? 😂 Everyone can see , it’s good for marketing, but that’s a definite scam, no disrespect to you.
Now try that with a bolt that was really stuck. Like one from a twenty year old F250 exhaust manifold.
OK
A 390 high boy
@@toolsforworkdoes he have point?
Now try to remove real snapped bolt that snapped when you undoing
Broken when trying to remove at first
@@toolsforwork from what we can see on video it broke when you turning right, which means you overtightened the bolt and it snapped
Yes, this is mainly to demonstrate the broken wire removal tool
yea and broke the removal bit in the hole. 🤦🏾🤷🏾🥴 show us that with this wonderful sound. 🥴🤣😅🤣
Where did you buy that extraction tool at?
I have never been lucky enough for it to go this smooth
You just have to try more
skill issue
I fucking hate UA-cam for showing me all this successful attempts meanwhile I failed like an idiot….
Sometimes it’s not your fault and you need to follow the steps more carefully.
@@toolsforworkyour statement contradicted itself
So it is their fault because they didn't follow the instructions carefully
Don’t ever use an impact gun on the extractor!!
Why?
Found that out the hard way
@@antj211 you and me both. Shit job turned 100% worse. I learned my lesson and
have never done it again
Hammer drill?
Because if you break one of those off in the bolt you’re next step is pretty much a welder. You won’t drill that back out unless you wanna go through 100 bits and be there for 2 days
My experience with broken bolts are the small ones. 3/8 and smaller. It's tough to drill a hole in a small bolt and use a Easy-out.
What you said makes sense.
What can be done in thia case?
It is, almost not enough bite to surface area. I’ve hammered in torx bits and been able to it like that, since fasteners that small “shouldn’t be” that tight it works. I quote shouldn’t be, but idiots with impacts never learned a torque spec.
Love that soothing 70's soundtrack
Thanks!
What about a 10mm bolt facing the opposite of you on a 07 highlander the bank 2 solenoid
That might require a different size extractor.
everyone watch the very begging of the video , he tightens the bolt and breaks it off, the socket spins clockwise when it snaps off , not a a seized bolt ,
You can have a try

Consider using tools and careful operation, or consider welding the broken bolt out.
Thank you for not talking for 5 minutes before showing how to do this.
Operations can be displayed without language.
Totally agree lol
What do you do when the extractor tool breaks and the material of the extractor tool is impossible to drill through?
Try welding
So when you drill the first hole are you drilling the normal way or have the drill on reverse while holding down
Drill holes as normal
What kind of drill bite you use for thik steel like bolts? I broke many already
Alloy drill bit
Try with a real stuck one that you broke, preferably the exhaust studs, and see if it goes this smoothly.. 😂
OK
these vids are staged and it won’t ever happen lmao
What drill bits are you using I have titanium ones from dewalt And it does not go into the metal so easily
Alloy drill bit
Does it work with broken bronze bolt too?
Yes
I have the same extractor set. I used my impact and it broke the bit inside the bolt. I ended up having to use a hackzall and cut the bolt off. Which made it 10x more harder
Please use the tool correctly.
@toolsforwork used my impact on the lowest setting. Did practically the same thing you did. Not sure how I could've done it differently
he called you a stupid Bastard
@@zakkutv1623use a breaker bar next time? Using impacts on anything that isn’t suspension you’re just asking for it

What' brand of drill screw are they using?
local brand
How to remove an already loose bolt 🔩 with broken head 😅😂🎉bravo, bravo 👏
Thanks! 😃
Wish i could even get a drill straight on it. Mine are never in such a convenient location unfortunately
Then we need better tools
How do these videos make drilling metal bolts look easy? Been drilling mine for 2 hours
Please use appropriate drill bit
Only if it was always that easy
It’s not difficult if you use the right tools
Show us a real stuck and broken bolt. This one has been cut first. Than you took the head off when tightening it with your impact.
This is to better demonstrate the tool
@@toolsforwork there's nothing to demonstrate in this way.
Lol how the fuck do you do it without a power tool?! I literally have 3 inches of clearance so you can't even hammer a bit straight into the bolt.
Maybe I can also use soldering
looks like your bolt was over-tightened; the threaded portion wasn't rusted in
Some are like this, and some have not been maintained for a long time.
What name of this tools? And how much
Broken bolt extractor
Do you make a model for a 9mm bolt?
Can be customized if necessary.
Did we just get Rock Rolled by a Slowed version of the song?
Really?
Its like black head removal from the body
Like it?
What kind of drill bit is needed to drill through the bolt?
Drill bits for alloy metals
Do you have a picture of it?
They make it look so easy
It’s easy with the right tools
Not a centre punch in sight and using an Impact to extract.. it's more of "How not to"
??
In dreams it always happens like that, but in reality and if you work with cars you know that's 1 in a hundred lol.
Maybe not
Looks like you cut the bolt 😂😂
Well, this is for a better presentation tool
😅 you saying that the steel plate is more rustier and older than actual bolt inside it? 😂 Everyone can see , it’s good for marketing, but that’s a definite scam, no disrespect to you.
You can actually see if it's true.
Tried that piece and it snapped off in the bolt😩
You must have bought a substandard product
@@toolsforwork yea they bought yours 🤣
Maybe try it on a genuinely rusty bolt, not one that was cut 3/4 ways through before you broke it off 😂
Okay, still no problem.
Try removing broken exhaust bolts
OK
Please I need the tools.
Need it?
Thank you
😊
If I tried this it would take 6 hours
It won't take that long
BS - if it snapped for real - it would never budge with just an easy out.
Why isn't it true?
@@toolsforwork Experience.
Sawed off screws are easier to get out with a needle size extractor than would be a genuinely snapped ones of that diameter. FAKE
How can it be faked? If there is no actual operation, then please tell me how I can make it fake.
It's a demonstration, dude
What is the name of last tool( threaded)?
reverse thread extractor
Thia tool is ass dont get it please.. mine broke insdie and i had to keep drilling out
Why?

@toolsforwork surprisingly, yes! It's a funny contrast to all the routine mayhem going on

Did nothing
Really?
@toolsforwork yeah it just turns and turns. U even hammered it in. Its a small 5x20m bolt if that matters. Mabye the bigger ones work better
Pretty dumb tightening the bolt you broke.
To better demonstrate the tool
That looks like it was cut with a cutoff wheel
For better presentation tools
What is the song in this video?
Horned Flute Chill
Now let's do it with a really rusted bolt that stay there about a few year ago 😂
?
you can come and try
Wait am I seeing this right. He snapped the bolt of with impact gun while tightening it. Fake video. Try removing a real stuck rusted bolt.
To better test tools
center the drill hole
OK
how much this
not expensive
@@toolsforwork please tell me how to buy this
He cut the blot

Wow what did you use to cut the bolt off below the surface. Amazing
Angle Grinder.
Looks like they cut the bolt 75% with an angle grinder. Installed the bolt, then rattled the head off... definitely not a seized bolt.

The bolt was loose and I’m guessing already cut before you (tightened)?? It to break it free?
Really?
It was cut most of the way!!!!

That’s total bs. You should’ve used an extractor twice that size, and I’m betting it still wouldn’t go that smooth.
You can try it yourself
