Yes rock mode most of the time, and diff lock only on some of time, the TC does a very good job and depending on the obstetrical TC can work better then having the rear locker on.
Wheeling Webber thanks for the reply , I'm looking to buy a new Y62 soon probably a Ti , I think much better bang for ya buck than a LC200 , I get around the Vic Highcountry a fair bit so plenty steep rocky tracks
not at all Wesam my point here was that I have yet to see a 200 outperform a y62 off road and the fact that the LC200 doesn't have a rear diff lock, it would only be as capable as Y62 once it had an aftermarket rear diff locker fitted.
Was great fun almost got bogged 5mins in tried to go through a "puddle". Deffinetley needs a lift and some tyres though keen to do some more water crossing with a bit more confidence next time.
Personally I'd take both looks and the solid axel of my GU over the box with IFS and IRS any day. Also not a fan of all the computer shit in the new patrols, to complex and hard to patch out on the tracks should ya need to. That's me though, good on the boys who like em 😎👍

The problem with the 62 is it aint got enough rubber. Too low profile compared to the big doughnuts on the gu. Are his spotties behind the grill?

Yeah mate the 62 will eat up the Vic High country, yet to see a 200 out compete a 62 off road.

The entry angle an more so the drop angle into it for that obstacle is a rear bar ripper so until the Y62 gets metal rear bar not worth damaging it.
